About the property

Condo, 3 Bedrooms + child's bed, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6-7)

Super comfortable and beautiful! Spacious lower unit in convenient and attractive Sports Village III complex. Completely remodeled in 2011. Unit is far away from busy roads and has easy access from car. Walking distance to hiking/biking trails and golf. Closest Pinetop lodging to Sunrise Ski resort. Just 5 minute drive from Hondah Resort & Casino.

Unit is fully equipped and includes a separate master suite with queen size bed,TV, and separate entrance. Kids' room has toys and twin/double bunk bed. Works great for one or more families. Extended back patio with gas grill for enjoying cool mountain air. Modern wood stove with blower for staying cozy when it's snowing!

The White Mountains are Arizona's treasure in every season. Summer is the most popular with folks seeking a cool respite from the blazing desert, but spring and fall are spectacular, as well. Fruit trees and aspens light up the woods around town, and Arizona ash and walnut trees line the numerous riparian areas. Visit Woodland Lake for a lovely half day outing or drive over to Greer with stops at Hawley Lake or Big Lake to soak in the beauty of the mountains. A fall hike anywhere near Sunrise Park Resort on the slopes of Mt Baldy will take your breath away with aspens glowing in so many gorgeous colors.

Horseback riding is available at Porter Mountain in Lakeside or up at Sunrise. Fishing at any of the numerous lakes in the high country or on the North Fork of the White River will delight any angler. Or, if you like, simply park your vehicle out on the road to Green Mountain and wait for the elk to serenade you at dusk and relish the darkest night skies in the area. The opportunities for engaging with nature or just relaxing in the fresh mountain air are limitless. You won't be disappointed!

Condo maintaince

  • 4 of 5

Bed in master bedroom had not been made. No sheets, etc. not ready for sleeping.

Silverware, eating and cooking utentils had been stored dirty, dried food etc. on them.

Oven toaster so dirty could not be used.

Patio had not been cleaned off for a long time. Required about an hour of cleaning before it could be used.

Outdoor water valve can not be turned off or on. Water was on when we arrived and water could not be turned off when we left Pinetop. Needs to be serviced by plumber.

Great Grandchildren that lived in area enjoyed playing with toys in condo.

We Liked location of condo.

Owner's Response: Thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. Our professional cleaning staff has never failed us before, but I will certainly communicate your concerns to them. The water valves in the condos are old and very stiff - they are definitely hard to turn. I will check with condo manager to see about replacing it. The porch was swept about a week before your arrival but the winds bring in dust and pine needles. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay and I hope you will consider coming back. We will do our best to improve the issues you mentioned.

We had a great month here......location is great....close to the casino, ski area and great restaurants in Pinetop. Condo is great especially for the price......has everything you will need. Great golf almost next door at the Pinetop Lakes Country Club...also fab hiking trails very close.....took the dog walking on pine lined trails nearly daily. Would love to come back

A GREAT family getaway

  • 5 of 5

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the time that we spent at this property! It has a very homey feel and for a family of four, we had lots of space for everyone. We enjoyed meals on the patio and had a chance to meet some very nice neighbors. It's a great location in Pinetop, close to shopping in both Pinetop proper and Show Low. We went horseback riding at the PL Equestrian Stables just a few minutes down the road and were led on a private, family tour by two very helpful guides. We enjoyed a weekend day at Sunrise Ski Resort riding the ski lift and hiking. The ruins at Casa Malpais in Springerville/Eager were just under an hour away and well worth the trip. We enjoyed hiking in the immediate area as well. Having the ground level was so nice because it gave us an extended patio and had a very open feel. Laurel, the owner, was very accessible both preceding and during our stay. We have every intention to return to Pinetop and if this property were available, we'd be glad to stay here again.
