Came to move my daughter home from college, was 5 minutes from campus. Amazing view, clean and welcoming. We had a minor hiccup with getting the keys, Tom was great in getting it resolved in a timely manner. Just wished we had better weather and more time to explore the property or even get a night by the fire pit. Will definitely be back for future stays.
Perfect Place, Perfect Space
There's nothing better than starting and finishing the day with a view of Lake Superior! This cabin is located 2 miles from Marquette, MI. There is a paved bike/walking path across the highway that leads straight into the city.
The inside of the cabin is perfect. Small, but loaded with great comforts. New leather furniture, flat screen TV, and wireless internet. The kitchen has also been updated and has everything you need if you want to stay in for dinner. The mattresses are great and comfy.
Love this place. Will definitely be returning.
Beautiful and cozy!
Wonderful from start to finish. Cozy! Tom was very helpful and kind. Lovely views. Clean and equipped kitchen. Perfect for a couple’s getaway.
It's nice, close to stores and the place is secluded!
The great view the trails are across the street from it we enjoyed it.
cozy lake view site
Cabin sits across from the lake. the view is super, wake up to sun rises over the water. located on multipurpose trail across the highway. neat place
Great location and well stocked with everything we needed!
We enjoyed the pet-friendly convenience of this cabin. It is close enough to the Marquette downtown that we could ride bikes in, with the bike path directly across the street. Driving anywhere is an easy hop on the highway. It is close to everything that Marquette has to offer, and Marquette offers a lot! I absolutely love this city. The cabin was small, but cozy and comfortable, and fully stocked with linens and other amenities, like silverware, plates, glasses, etc. The kitchen was nicely and thoughtfully equipped, and the picnic table on the veranda was a nice touch. The wood-burning fireplace in the living room, and charcoal grill outside were all appreciated. We weren't able to use the cool bonfire pit and sitting area due to rain and cold on this trip, but it was nice to have them there. Its location-- literally in a rock cut, surrounded by rocky cliffs-- made it pretty unique, and I'm sure it has some history to it. The view and sound of Lake Superior across the street was another great feature. The Travel Marquette info guide left in the cabin was very helpful, thank you!
