The Guest House has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, providing comfortable accommodations for up to six people.

Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the third has twin beds.

Point Beach Guest House has 1700 square feet of living space and was totally remodeled in 2005.

Our guests have enjoyed the large manicured yard, the easily accessed beach, and the biking/hiking trails. In the winter these trails are groomed for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in a beautiful snow-covered forest.

Down hill skiing 15 minutes away.Cross country skiing virtually in back yard.

Sit in the yard and enjoy the country and when you feel like it use our central location to visit the many activities in the area.

When it is chilly, a warm fireplace provides a nice retreat for snuggling with a good book, cup of hot chocolate or friendly fireside conversation.

Avoid the crowds of Door County, but you can visit there with a short drive. Two Rivers is an untapped vacation spot with lots of activities nearby including several miles of white sandy beach.

Coming to a Packer game? Spend the weekend here, only 45 minutes to Lambeau field.

About Mike

My name is Mike. I am retired from the US Coast Guard. I now manage the eCommerce site www.Chart-Art.com. My wife Ann and I like to travel and spend as much time as we can with our children and grandchildren.

Mike purchased this house in 1985

Why Mike chose East Central

My parents lived next door to this house on property they had purchased from the previous owners of this property. The previous owners (who were the original homesteaders) eventually passed ownership to their youngest son. That owner, Leo, finding it difficult to afford the basics of life, convinced Ann & I to purchase the property and allow him life estate. We eventually did just that. In 2002 Leo went back to heaven. Ann and I didn't want to sell the house because there is a large beautiful barn and two other outbuildings that we use as a wood working shop and for storage. We then figured that since this is such a beautiful area and so many people always fill the Point Beach State Forest campgrounds, that we could offer the house as an alternative to sleeping on the ground in a tent. So 20 years after we purchased the property we took the one bedroom one bath house down to the studs and remodeled it into a 3 bedroom, 3 full bath, fully furnished and outfitted get away for those who like comfort in their vacation accomodations. Our pricing isn't really that much more than a hotel room but we have many many more amenities and a lot more room than a hotel. Don't neglect to read the reviews below. I believe you will find that we were successful in our endeavor to make it a nice place to stay. We hope we can welcome you to our get-away.

What makes this house unique

When you arrive you see this quaint old farm house on an expansive yard with large trees for shade and plenty of open grass to relax in the sunshine, play ball, set up your croquet set. The house sits next to a beautifully cared for barn. (also built by Al Capone) When you enter the house you will notice the attention to detail that we put into the remodel. Rounded corners on all the walls; high end appliances (including washer and dryer);wireless Internet, flat screen TV, free telephone;100s of books and nice soft chairs to sit around the fireplace if it's chilly outside. Perfect for families who like their space and perfect for 2 or 3 couples looking to get away and enjoy all the amenities of a fully outfitted home rather than a hotel room.

Amazing, spacious, quiet

I brought my older mother and her boyfriend (ages 70+) to Green Bay from Minnesota for the Christmas Eve Vikings / Packers game (2 Vikings fans, 1 Packers fan), and we wanted to find a house to rent that was a little ways out from Lambeau. We wound up in this beautifully restored farm house about 40 minutes from the field. What an excellent choice!

The house definitely still has its old-fashioned charm, but it has been impeccably restored and features three modern bathrooms and three spacious bedrooms. They took the master bedroom on the ground floor, which gave them fewer stairs to traverse. I had the upstairs to myself and a choice of two huge bedrooms, each with a great bathroom.

The kitchen is huge and well-appointed. In the living room, the tv has multiple options, including free on-demand movies.

The owner was extremely gracious and flexible with check-in and check-out times.

The surrounding farm looks beautiful -- we didn't have an opportunity to visit the attached state park, but I hope to return for a relaxing, restful vacation in the future.

Clean, quiet, relaxing.

The house is very clean and bright. We really enjoyed the fireplace in the living room. A bathroom in each bedroom is a true plus. Kitchen is well equipped. Basic supply of soap, paper towels, toilet paper is very helpful. The house is 5 minutes away from multiple paths through the forest and from the beautiful beach of lake Michigan. We had a great vacation.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your very nice review. When we converted this old farmhouse to a vacation rental in 2005. We envisioned a very nice place for people to enjoy. Walking and bike trails in the summer and snowmobile and cross country ski trails in the winter.A location close enough to Door County and Lambeau Field that offers a much more laid back experience than those busy locations. Lake Michigan close by. Many friends asked why we were going to the expense of adding a full bathroom to every bedroom. I knew that feature would be a plus because this is a family and friends place; who wants to have to share a bathroom.

Thanksgiving Break

The property is well maintained, equipped and clean. The location was perfect for privacy with close proximity to town for services. This was a perfect spot for our family to unwind. Mike, the owner, is responsive and wants to make certain things are in order. We hope to be back again next year!

A little gem in Two Rivers....

Only was able to stay for one night as we went to Packers game for first time but this home was only 45 minutes away from Lambeau field, was extremely well kept and while it was off the beaten path it was a great place. And the owner Mike always answered his phone and was very helpful in the process.

Owner's Response: We have had several guests that stayed with us as part of their Packer /Lambeau Field experience. It's not that far away and a lot nicer than jamming into a one room hotel. If you amortize the cost it's also a much better deal.

Fantastic location

The house has a great location on the Rawley Bike trail with easy access to continue on to the Mariner bike trail along Lake Michigan. Great beach at Neshota Park. Loved the Susie Q, Fisherman Village and Alpaca farm in Two Rivers. The house had everything we needed in a lovely setting.

Very nice!

We enjoyed our stay very much. We wanted a place to relax and get away and this was it! The house was very nice, it had everything we needed. It has plenty of space for the six of us and we really liked having three bathrooms! The walk to the lake was peaceful and the beach was pretty empty....for several hours we were the only ones there! It was a nice, restful getaway for us!
