Overview

About the property

Sleeps 12/Open Concept Home w/ Super Convenient Layout Great for Get Togethers!

This Beautifully Remodeled & Updated fully furnished log home is spacious and comfortable. Open Concept KT/DR/LR w/patio doors to huge wrap around deck. There are several access points to deck, yard and kitchen so it makes entertaining a breeze.

Great for Family Vacations!!! Being by the lake produces a feeling of relaxation and you can see it and hear it and feel it pretty easily in this easy going place called Two Rivers, and especially right here at the Smiling Bear Cabin.

There is Plenty of Room for kids (and kids at heart) to run and play. The yard is about 3/10ths acre w/Swings, Volleyball, Croquet, Badminton, & Sidewalk Chalk! We have a Fire-Pit and a Wood Shed which usually has kindling and at least some wood scraps. Sometimes we have actual logs but no guarantees. I try to keep matches & newspaper for starting fires in the house. Paper got too damp in woodshed. If there are no logs present and you would like to purchase some, I believe you can get it at Kwik Trip in TR or at a few roadside places within a few miles along County Road O heading toward Point Beach State Forest.

We have a gas grill and we provide the propane.

There is a Main Floor Bedroom w/King Size Bed. There are 3 more Bedrooms Upstairs. 2 of the upper Bedrooms have 1 Queen Size Bed per room. The 3rd has 2 Double Beds.

Fully equipped KT includes Gas Stove/Refrigerator w/Water & Ice Dispenser/Dishwasher/Microwave/Wine Cooler/Coffeemaker/Crockpots,/blender/beaters/pots & pans/utensils/glassware/bakeware et al. We have some specialties like a melon baller, garlic press, lemon zester, et al, to add pizazz to your cooking experience.

Main Floor Laundry Room for guest use. There is a full bath on both levels. Main Floor Bath has a Shower Stall. Upstairs Bath has a Shower over Tub.

Beach & Bath Towels as well as bed linens & kitchen towels are provided. We provide paper napkins, paper towel, toilet paper, and kleenex. We provide bar soap and pump soap. Shampoo & Conditioner are usually there.

We try to always have at least Salt/Pepper/Catsup/Mustard/Sugar/Coffee/Tea/Vanilla/Spices/Cooking Oil/Wax Paper/Cling Wrap/Foil/Ziplock Bags. More staples to come in future.

Zoned Residential. Some restrictions apply.

Great size and flow to the house.

  • 5 of 5

My fishing crew and I loved the place. It was perfect for us. Plenty of space for us to eat, sleep, and relax. I would recommend this place to large families and or groups. And I already booked it for next year. Thank you Cate for taking care of us.

Great and easy-to-use property in a nice setting close to the lake. The owner is very organized and has everything clearly labeled. Everything worked, and we had a very comfortable stay for 5 adults and 5 kids. Thank you!
