Aloha Caylan, I am so glad you enjoyed you time at my little slice of paradise. I absolutely agree the unit is dated. It was scheduled for a remodel 3 times but various things interfered. The great losses from COVID being the biggest. I am so happy to hear you thought it was well stocked. I try my best. I hope you return. I have 2 other units in the building as well. If you would like to stay in a larger unit sometime there are one bedroom units at the south corners of the building as well as the entire 1st and 7th floors. Aloha JoDee, I am glad you liked the view of the mountains. It is my favorite thing about this unit. This is described as an ocean front due to the position of the building with regard to the beach. It is not an ocean view. I am glad you found the bed comfortable. It is something I have easy control over and believe is very important to travelers. I am sorry the unit overall did not meet with your expectations. I try to make it clear in both the VRBO description and in the one that I sent to you personally, that 616 has not been remodeled. It has had some things replaced such as the kitchen cabinets and carpet. Due to the fact that the unit is dated it is less expensive than my other units in the building. After this review I contacted the maintenance personnel regarding the AC. Apparently it was an issue within various parts of the building for a few days due to something upon which they were working. I am sorry that it coincided with your stay. As to the tub. The caulking became stained with a petroleum product to which a long term guest had a daily exposure at work. It has been bleached repeatedly but will not return to its original appearance. I assure you it is not mold. It will be replaced as soon as there is a long enough break in my occupancy. I do appreciate your review as it allows people to have a realistic expectation of the unit I hope you found the other unit in which you stayed better suited to your needs. I also hope your visit to the island and your friends at Lahaina Divers was enjoyable. Aloha, Rochelle
