Christy's Villa 1 is located in a residential neighborhood 1 MILE east from the center of town, off the beaten track but close enough to enjoy the beaches, clubs, bars, restuarants etc, The Villa sits high on a bluff with a view of the ocean & the Huacatay canyon below. The Villa has a terraza for morning coffee & a cocktails with spectacular views of the sunsets. A queen size bed in the main bedroom and if needed a sofa bed is available in the living area. The unit has a full kitchen, bathtub and its handicap friendly.

FABULOUS STAY

An absolutely amazing experience, definitely recommend!!!

It was a beautiful villa on a hill, very cozy and the amenities I need were provided. Christi, the host, was very informative and helpful, she gave me amazing recommendations for places to visit and eat at. Definitely looking forward to coming back next year.

Camping price, with all of the amenities of a hotel

Christy was beyond accommodating! We were lucky enough to have arrived in San Diego while she was running her scheduled errands & she was so patient& understanding and made its point to caravan with us, even with the typical first-timers confusion(AND with her baby in tow!) so that we had 100% NO PROBLEMS getting to her compound (once we were finally able to sort out our transportation issues. We had lost 3days from the front of our trip, but she Was willing to let us check out late ona day she was scheduled to receive her next guests. Our vehicle has very minimal clearance, and we stayed in the unit underneath her home, so we had attempted to bring our vehicle down to the parking garages lower level- damaged our muffler. She allowed us to park up top& we spent that latter half of our trip utilizing her cab guy. The time of year we stayed(Dec)was VERY cold, and I don’t recommend this- unless you are a well- versedtraveler in Mexico. Here ithoughticould getsome xmas shopping done on the cheap, but I am a red head who dresses in comfy western wear- they spotted me at the flea market(tourist trap) a mile off. If you’re looking for things to be “just so” this is not the place for you- though Christy will bend overbackwards to accommodate you- some people nitpick- even with the ridiculously low cost of her villas. If you don’t mind brushing your teeth in the living room , or using a propane heater if it gets cold, having to carry your luggage, etc... if you’re a family, or a group of loud people yourselves & won’t mind parties or crying babies- esta lugar es PERFECTO para tú! This is not a place for quiet meditation, but is a perfect place to come back to after a day of adventuring! How much time do you really want to stay in anyways? One last thing- if Christy makes a recommendation- take advantage of it!! She KNOWS whats up! AND-If you’ve never been to her place- yes, you will likely get lost. Do NOT schedule so that you’d arrive in Mexico with anything less than 2hrs of daylight left. And be CERTAIN to arrange your service with your cellular carrier& get your internet/roaming situation addressed PRIOR to getting into Mexico. That is important, not all streets have signs, there are not many lights in residential areas- especially not Hers- but after only 1day there I could find my way back to her place EASILY-once I was within a couple miles of it.

Christy's Villa #1

We got lost in route to Christy's due to a landslide on Mexico 1 Hwy and all traffic was re routed so we did not where we were. Christy called us and we shared our problem and she stayed on the phone and guided us through the maze of traffic and got us to her location. Her house is in a remote area (with great city light views and ocean views) that is very safe and secure (multiple security cameras throughout the complex). We saw her and her mother daily and always inquired to see if we needed anything. For us, it is a hidden gem in Rosarito. We will definitely stay there again in the future. Thanks Christy for being a GREAT HOSTESS!

Secure, confortable stay but above all awesome hosts

First of all David and Christy are excellent hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and provide great recommendation for restaurants including the hidden gems off the beaten path. The house is gated and rooms are clean and fully furnished. the kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a refrigerator. I plan to come back again with the family and for us it is plus to have pet friendly place as we have a small dog. I highly recommend this place and we personally will continue to rent this place in our future visits to this area.

Great place, wonderful hosts

My wife, our dog and myself were in Rosarito to meet up with our daughter and son-in-law for a short vacation. The apartment worked out perfectly for us. It was very clean, comfortable, secure and quiet. David and Christy were incredibly attentive and helpful. David even went out of his way to help me with a car problem; introducing me to his mechanic and translating for me. We generally cooked breakfast in the adequately equipped kitchen and ate on the patio which overlooked the a horse ranch, Rosarito and the ocean. Nice place for a glass of wine at the end of the day as well. The furniture was comfy and there was enough room to accommodate our different morning schedules. Good shower and bathroom facilities. The Internet connection was the best I've experienced in Rosarito and there is a great selection of cable channels available. Getting into downtown took just a few minutes as did connecting to the main highway. We will be returning.

Wonderful Getaway For Two!

I have so many great things to say about David & Christy's rental! First, they are kind and very helpful. David was especially attentive with making sure we were able to navigate to and from the unit from town. They also had great recommendations for where to eat and things to check out. The taco place especially! The unit itself is lovely. Great little outdoor patio space with a nice view. The bed and the couch were comfy and the other accommodations were nice as well. Loved having the mini fridge! It was nice to be a little removed from the city center, as it was relaxing - but to get back into the swing of things was a very short drive down the hill. David and Christy were always available and checking in and out was a breeze. Many thanks to you both for such a wonderful time in Rosarito!

Quaint, charming and all around accommodating.

When we first arrived it was better than expected, fully gated with total security. The owners were extremely nice, and more than welcoming. It was a pleasure from the start. We stayed a total of four nights, each night they asked if we needed anything (i.e laundry, household necessities, ect) but we had more than enough to suffice. The room came fully furnished with a bed, L shape couch, and a fold-out bed that slept 6 of us, full kitchen with all utensils and supplies. They had everything from the Chinaware, to coffee ready to make in the morning. There was a peach tree on the property, which I thought was really nice for my 13 year old son, he was thrilled about it. Full leisure to come and go into the studio at any time, per convenience. Security deposit was refunded upon departure. Wonderful experience, would definitely stay there again.

A perfect holiday rental

We were thoroughly pleased with David and Christy's 1 bedroom rental. It is clean, comfortable and decorated with nice cozy touches. The bed was super comfortable and the terrace offered a wonderful place to take in a magnificent view of central Rosarito and beach. The rental is far enough removed from the touristy area to provide a feeling of staying in a local home, however it is close enough to access within a few minutes by car, (or a nice walk into "town" if wanting a little exercise as we did). Another advantage to this holiday rental are the hosts. From our initial inquiry via email all communication was responded to promptly and clearly. Upon arriving, we were greeted by this wonderful, friendly couple who also provide additional helpful information about almost anything in the area you might be interested in. Upon check out our deposit was returned immediately. This is a holiday rental we were sorry to leave and hope to return to again. Everything was much appreciated, David and Christy. Thank you!

Quiet safe location with great views

My mom and I stayed in the 1 bedroom for 1 week while she looked around to decide if she wants to move there. She got the bedroom while I got the very comfy sofa bed. David and Christy are amazing hosts and a wealth of information on the area. Parking is behind a secure, automated gate. We will definitely stay there again now that they are our new friends. They have a cute, little dog that got along with mine.

Studio Haven of Rest

The studio apartment was superb. The place was clean, in order with everything in working order. The owners David and Christy are genuinely sincere, friendly and most helpful. Although it is located off the beaten path of Rosarito, it is not far from the main strip. The accommodation offers comfort, quietness, calming views, warm summer breezes from the ocean. I highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a great value, convenient location and peace and tranquility. It is indeed a haven and oasis.

fantastic

Great place and fantastic value! Amazing views from the beautiful terraza. Plenty of room for our family of 3 to spread out and get comfortable. WiFi worked great, and we loved the huge selection of recent movies for vegging out. David and Christy are great hosts, full of info and always available if you need or want anything. I wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely never stay anywhere else when visiting Rosarito!

My boyfriend and I are young recent university graduates who decided to vacation in Rosarito before entering the real world. We enjoyed this vacation so much. We stayed for almost an entire week in the studio apartment which was comfortable and had just about everything you could need. The hosts were extremely hospitable and went above and beyond what my expectations were. We felt safe in their home which was our greatest concern for Mexico. We plan to come more often and bring our family or friends along. We fell in love with the beaches, the food, and relaxation found in Rosarito. We highly reccomend for anyone who would like to vacation in Rosarito in a safe and comfortable place.

Owner with Great Personality

Since Rosarito is constantly growing and current maps are not available with detail information, the owner David met us at the entrance of a landmark hotel in order to guide us to his property. From that initial meeting, it was obvious that we would be in good hands. This was followed by wine and snacks that his wife brought to us and the four of us exchanged many stories for quite some time. We received information as to where we could get the best deals in eye glasses, as well as directions where we could go for a good Sunday brunch. When we attended the Sunday brunch, we met many expats that have known David and Christy for some time and we all had a fantastic time. Bottom line is quite simple, when staying at this location you will get personal attention for your needs and they go out of the way to insure that your stay is a good one.

Short on Getaway Time from Hustle n Bustle

Our family feels like the extended family of the hosts. Great views from residence, better sights and sounds at the beach. Local gatherings at local businesses makes you want to leave your hometown to stay with the hosts. Yes there is plenty of entertainment at residence or you can go out for an evening. Of course, if you come with the family it has to be the safest and secure. You will feel like Royalty in that way ;) The amenities are beyond what you would expect. WE HIGHLY RECOMMMEND TO ALL WHO WANT TO RELAX AND ENJOY LIFE....A GOOD BEER TOO =) THANK YOU TO THE HOSTS WE WILL SEE YOU AGAIN SOONER THAN YOU THINK

Awesome Hosts

"Christy's Place", as David calls it, was very comfortable. My fiance and I stayed in the one bedroom apartment. The bed is comfortable, the shower is wonderful. Plenty of hot water for your enjoyment. We both like long, hot showers so this was a nice change from most of the hotels in the area. David and Christy welcomed us with wine, munchies and an afternoon of interesting and informative conversation. The only drawback for us (we are seniors and do not do the party scene at night) was that the TV only has Spanish speaking stations. Since my fiance speaks Spanish, he didn't mind. David is considering connecting the Dish TV service. This would be an added attraction for us. Wi-fi works well. More than anything, they were extremely cordial and invited us to join them and their friends at the "best Sunday brunch in Rosarito".

Another Great Weekend

Me and my family had another beautiful weekend here,its a great place to stay if you want peace and quite. Beautiful ocean view while having your tea or coffee in the morning.Very approachable owner and of course very safe. I highly recommend this place.

If any type of immediate service is needed (emergency hospital care, etc.) it will be immediately available.
If dental work is needed or automobile repairs are needed (body work, suspension, electrical, mechanical, etc.) I can recommend the clinic and shops that I have researched and used personally for years, that can save you money.

Why they chose this property

This property is located in a quiet, safe residential area of Rosarito. Because it is on a high bluff overlooking the valley of Huahuatay the view to the ocean is beautiful and the sunsets from the units are spectacular!!

Since the location is 1 mile from the center of town, all of the restaurants, bars, nightlife and beaches are close by.

What makes this property unique

With all of the amenities that are part of the apts, view, secure lodging, closeness of town -- with the price we have to offer -- is very attractive!!!

All our units include Dish Network cable.

The price includes free parking that is enclosed and secure for 1 car!

*We use water softener treatment for all out unit. You will feel the deferent between hard water and soft water when you shower. Enjoy !
