I have owned property in Vail Village since 2005. I have been looking for the perfect vacation home for my winter ski trip and summer visits to Vail for many years. This is the perfect residence! Vail Mountain View is one of the newest buildings in Vail Village proper and is of extremely high quality construction.

What makes this condo unique

I enjoy this residence's private and quiet location on the banks of the Gore River overlooking the slopes of the world class Vail Ski Resort.

I was in town for the Leadville 100 mile mountain bike race. I must admit that I am a total Type A freak. I am a perfectionist. I rarely say this but this residence was PERFECT. The home has private and secure entry - you drive into the secure garage and take the elevator right up to the residence - only one other residence on the floor is served by this elevator. Being a public figure - I am always hiding from the cameras and this residence gave me the privacy that I seek. The terrace has amazing view of the ski mountain - facing it directly - yet gave me the privacy to have breakfast in my bathrobe. My girlfriend is a chef and absolutely fell in love with the fully equipped kitchen. We never went out - she cooked amazing dinners every evening for us. The residence is obviously professionally designed and appointed. We will be returning for ski season. Thank you Lisa!

The Front Side of Vail is home to the most groomed terrain on the planet. Wide, long runs such as Riva Ridge, Born Free, Simba, Lodgepole, and Bear Tree are popular. The Front Side is also home to Kid's Adventure Zones, three Terrain Parks including Golden Peak Terrain Park, home of the 22 foot superpipe and site of the Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships, Game Creek Bowl, The EpicMix race course, and mountain dining restaurants at Eagles Nest (including Bistro Fourteen), Mid-Vail, the 10th, Wildwood, Buffalo's, Two Elk and Larkspur at the base of Golden Peak.

The Legendary Back Bowls offer wide open skiing and amazing views. Start by exploring Sun Up and Sun Down Bowls, and work your way back to China and Teacup Bowls. China Bowl offers the only groomed blue runs in the Back Bowls [easily accessed via the Sourdough Express Lift (#14) on the Front Side]. If you are feeling adventurous, make your way all the way out to Siberia Bowl and the surface T-Bar style Mongolia Lift (#22) to access the far reaches of Inner and Outer Mongolia Bowls!

Not enough terrain for you yet? Follow signage from Patrol Headquarters back to the three high-speed quad lifts of Blue Sky Basin. Ski the steep and snow filled sections under Skyline Express Lift (#37), or explore the runs on Pete's and Earl's Express Lifts (#39 and #38), named after Vail's founders Pete Seibert and Earl Eaton. With so many options, it's no wonder that so many people choose a Vail season pass. All this mountain simply can't be conquered in one visit!

Awesome Place

This was my family's 5th trip to Vail and by far our favorite place. Location is ideal for skiing or simply getting into the middle of town in 3-4 minutes. The place itself is luxuriously comfortable, beds & showers are great, etc. TV works great and has lots of channels. Easy parking.

Not sure what else anyone would want from a vacation rental. Lisa knows what she's doing.

Amazing!

This condo is absolutely amazing!

The condo was very clean and well decorated. Additionally, it is located in a great area that has a wonderful view of Gore Creek and the slopes with only a short walk to the ski lifts and town.

Our entire family loved this condo and would definitely stay here again!

Not your average ski condo.

Really enjoyed this condo. Have stayed in a lot of condos over the years and this is, by far, the nicest. Construction is of the highest quality, furnishings and decorating are top notch and very interesting, kitchen appliances are all the best, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. The entertainment system is very easy to use and high quality. Can't beat this unit and Lisa was very easy to work with and very nice.

Vail Mountain Village #302 -owner Lisa Widmeir

Great location. Enjoyed view over Gore creek. Nice decor. The kitchen was well equipped, but there was no storage space for any of the dry groceries we purchased. The pantry cabinet was locked. All other cabinets were chock full with dishes, utensils etc. The counter top in the kitchen was filled with 2 types of coffee makers, a tea brewer, a blender, a knife block, a battery operated corkscrew and a holder full of cooking utensils. We had to squeeze our purchases amidst these items, which left very little preparation space.

The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were roomy. The LR sofa was nice, but the two ottomans by the fireplace did not provide comfortable seating.

The extra storage area in the garage was listed as an amenity, yet it too was quite full and we could only store one golf bag in it.

We would stay in this unit again, but would like to see some changes made. Anna Brown

Owner's Response: Hello! Thank you for your review! You are in luck - I am actually planning an amazing redesign of the kitchen as I love to cook and love coffee (so do have that extra nespresso coffee maker). The redesign will happen in April and is going to be fabulous for those chefs like me! Lots of space! Regarding storage downstairs - that is actually a ski locker in the ski locker room so it is meant for skis and boots etc. Golf clubs fit also but most people keep the clubs in the trunk of the car for easy transport to the golf course.
