Come and enjoy your very own lakefront paradise in Talkeetna! Situated on 15 acres, you will feel like you are out in the middle of nowhere as you gaze out at the calm lake, yet just down the street you will find everything you need to stock your kitchen from a full line grocery store.
The house consists of a large deck overlooking Little Montana Lake, a private green lawn, a paddle boat, rowboat and a canoe with enough life jackets for 6 adults (boating experience needed for the canoe), fishing poles, bicycles with access to paved trails that take you to shops and restaurants downtown, and beautiful walking trails along the lake right next door at the local high school.
The house has 3 bedrooms- one king bedroom upstairs, one queen bedroom upstairs, and one queen bedroom downstairs. A trundle bed is set up in the living room, which consists of 2 twin mattresses total, but can be converted to a king bed with a mattress topper. 8 are comfortably accommodated with this arrangement. 2 baths include a full tub/shower combo downstairs and a spacious double sink vanity with walk in shower upstairs. The house is also equipped with WiFi, a land line telephone for local phone calls, and a 65” flat screen TV with a selection of DVDs to choose from, or rent a new release at the grocery store across the way.
Owners Derek and Jessica are ready to assist in making your stay a wonderful one, as they reside in a smaller house on the property behind the main cabin.
