First of all, our staff was extremely accommodating despite the fact that your flight was delayed and you arrived approximately four hours after the scheduled check-in time. As clearly stated in the listing and house rules, we are not a hotel, but a short-term rental apartment. For this reason, the apartment is equipped with one full towel set per guest, which is standard for this type of accommodation. Extra towels are available upon request for an additional fee, which was communicated transparently. The same applies to initial supplies such as toilet paper, which are provided in reasonable quantities for the start of the stay (1 roll each guest). Regarding payments, all mandatory fees are clearly disclosed in the listing, booking details and welcome email, including the requirement to pay certain amounts at check-in in cash. We always encourage guests to carefully read the information provided before arrival to avoid misunderstandings. Cleanliness is taken very seriously, and the apartment is cleaned professionally before every stay. While we acknowledge that the building and flooring are historic and show signs of age typical of Rome properties, this does not reflect a lack of cleanliness. Lastly, we would like to highlight that, in ancient buildings, an elevator is often not available at all.
