We're glad that you enjoyed the property location and amenities. We are constantly trying to add things to make our guest's stay more enjoyable. Thank you for spending your vacation at our Hudson River house, and creating wonderful memories to share with your family for a lifetime.
Stayed a week while visiting family. Nice little house and sitting by the river was a great way to relax and spend time with family and friends. House has everything you need and is convenient enough to many small towns and lakes but secluded and quiet compared to being in Lake George area and all its bustle.

We are so happy that we again have such a satisfied guest. As we state in our listing, this is indeed a wonderful location - secluded without the hustle and bustle of Lake George or Saratoga traffic and noise, but not remote - only 15 miles from either one (and minutes from local grocery shopping). Come down to our 'Hudson River House' and enjoy the tranquility of the clean and pure Hudson River at its headwaters for a truly relaxing and refreshing experience. We will do everything that we can to ensure you have a wonderful vacation at our 'river house'.
Very clean and quiet camp on the Hudson River. Owners were very informative and the kitchen was well appointed for meals. Outside grill, picnic area, fire pit etc, perfect for enjoying quiet night outside.
Centrally located and away from the crowds. Easy access to lake George, Saratoga Springs and all the amenities the Hudson River and Adirondacks have to offer. Hiking, swimming, kayaking, exploring the outdoors all near by.

Perfect Get-Away!
This past summer we stayed here again because of the fond memories, privacy and close proximity to attractions. The house is located in between Saratoga and Lake Georges making it a perfect spot to stay and choose your venue. My wife and I cherish our morning coffee watching the river slowly flow downstream. Having a dock is also a plus because the house includes your own canoe and kayaks. My kids love this place! The Motts.

very affordable and not chintzy
We have been renting this house for 3- 4 years now and have never been disappointed. Always clean and lots of space for all of us to sleep. Relatives come from VA every year to go to the track and this is just the best place we have stayed, close proximity to the track and Lake George. We have always been happy. Owners are very gracious and accommodating. Give it a try, very peaceful location, gorgeous views.

We take great pride in providing an extraordinary value to our guests and are happy that so many choose to return year after year. We strive to ensure that your vacation experience is wonderful, by providing all of the 'little things' that could otherwise make a vacation go off track. Board games, DVDs, CATV, Wi-Fi, long distance phone, watercraft, BBQ gas, etc are all included in the rental price so you don't have to waste precious vacation time tending to these details. The location is great, the house is immaculate, and the views are fantastic. Give us a try; you will be glad that you did! Mike & Grace, Owners.
This was our second summer staying in the lovely house. It is right on the river. It was quiet and relaxing. There was a new stove and grill put in. The owner (Mike) and friends worked tirelessly, in the balzing heat, to replace the dock that had been swept away this winter. The dock makes it easy to swim and launch a kayak. We discovered the town beach and launch site. There was plenty of fire wood. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and pans. We were close to Saratoga and Lake George, but we got to return each night to quiet Corinth. It has become one of our favortie places to stay.

Great Stay on the River
Stayed at this location on Memorial Day weekend. Despite it being a busy Holiday weekend, the property location was quiet and relaxing. The river was perfect and we enjoyed the kayak/ canoe provided. Got in some good fishing within relatively close proximity to the dock. I would recommend morning and evening paddling on the river. It is very calm (almost like a lake) and not as busy with power boats/ jet skis.
House was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for our stay. Owners provided helpful info prior to our arrival and gave some good tips for local attractions, shops, and food. We didn't spend much time inside as the weather was awesome during our stay.
For a day trip, we headed up to Black mountain on the eastern shore of Lake George. It was about an hour drive north, but worth the trip. Nice hike that we were able to make with our dog. Great views of the lake at the top. There are plenty of other things close by. Saratoga was only about 15 miles south and made for another great day trip.
All in all a great trip

What more can we say? Please consider staying at our property for you next vacation getaway, and join the many others that have had wonderful memories made there. Mike & Grace
This is a lovely property. It is tucked behind a private campground. It is quiet and secluded. The neighbors are polite and everyone keeps to themselves, but everyone waves and says "hi". The river is busy with boats on the weekend which is entertaining. It was very quiet during the week. We had a agreat time. It is centrally located to Saratoga, Lake George , Lake Luzerne and Glenns Falls. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook easy meals. Our favorite part was sitting out on the river. There is an upper level and a lower level. We were amazed how we just sat there for hours reading, talking, and staring at the river. We enjoyed the kayaks and swimming. We did bring rope to tie off tubes so that the kids didn't float to far from the dock. The river's current can be strong. I am a strong swimmer, but I wore a flotation device when swimming as the current can tire you quickly. There are life jackets on the property of various sizes. We used these often. I would recommend this property. I feel like I found a little treasure on the river.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
No linens have to bring sheets, towels
Our host said we were sent info earlier but we only received complete information a few days before our stay- after we had paid in full and filled out all paperwork. NO TOWELS OR SHEETS. The pictures clearly show towels hanging in the bathroom and linens on the beds. Complete pain as we don’t have full sized beds at home. We have rented close to 100 Vrbo type units in Us, Canada and Europe and never had to bring linens. No condiments at all, not even salt, pepper or sugar! No plastic wrap or aluminum foil. The campground owner is a horror. We were doing 8 mph and he was jumping up and down telling us to slow down then next evening he followed us down in his golf cart and glared as we unloaded. Beds ok if you don’t mind sleeping on plastic. Too much fast boat and jet ski traffic to use the canoe. We aren’t experts but after watching two other groups almost get swamped we decided not to try. The cottage is in a great location for hiking, outlet mall if raining and Saratoga. Rocco’s is a great local restaurant
We had such a great stay at the River House. The house was very clean when we arrived and had plenty of space for our family of 5. Our hosts gave very detailed information and provided everything we needed for a great family week. It was on a beautiful spot perfectly located between Saratoga and Lake George. We so much enjoyed the quiet of the river and woods while being in easy proximity to fun things in the area
This was our third year visiting the river house. We love that it is in-between Saratoga and Lake George. We got to come back to our quiet cottage on the river. The kitchen has all the cookware necessary. We enjoyed the kayaks and our dog enjoyed swimming in the river down the road at the boat launch.
Cottage was very comfortable. Enjoyed the privacy. Swimming is off the dock . Warm water nice. I dunked in off ladder. Tied up tubes and floated. There is a currant. All you needed for cooking . It is a Rustic hideaway. Comfy nice furniture . Shower not so great needs makeover. But did the job. Get up early to get sun . Shades in afternoon .So Very happy to be able to bring my little dogs!!! Super close to Lake Lucerne and Lake Goerge enjoyed beach day and restaurants. which was perfect ! Owners are nice and communicated promptly.
We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home right on the river. It fit 5 adults and 2 small dogs very comfortably. Very clean and well organized. The owners Mike and Grace were wonderful and very responsive and helpful. We made use of the canoe almost everyday. I would highly recommend staying here. Central to attractions and activities in the area
From the moment you get to this property, you can see a pride of ownership. It is well taken care of, for sure. It was clean and welcoming. And the river view from the back of the house was so beautiful and peaceful and relaxing. It was exactly what we were looking for! Would highly recommend.
Location was wonderful, especially right beside the Hudson River. We sat on the back patio for hours, watching the river mosey on past. Some boaters were already speeding by. Though the house has central heating, the 2nd floor didn't. A bit cool the first two nights up there, until the hot days warmed everything up.(used the AC the last night.) Bon's in Lake Luzerne definitely the best for ice cream - what a selection! The Waterhouse restaurant was great (esp. the 16 oz strip steak. Like butter!) Didn't use any of the watercraft. Wife bought marshmallows for s'mores, but never found the time to actually use the fire pit. Just loved it!
2020 has been a year to remember for sure and we couldn’t get home to see family in Canada so we needed a few days of R and R. This was peaceful and we could bring our dogs. My husband is in love with the area. We hiked everyday and came back to the house to sit in the cozy recliners.
We had a wonderful week at the Hudson River House. There wasn't a thing we would change- the home and grounds were meticulously maintained, the privacy and quiet that we were seeking was front and center, and the waterfront location was pure heaven. We spent our week enjoying the outdoor space, hiking several parks and also having our first whitewater rafting experience with Wild Waters Outdoor Center. Mike and Grace set us up with terrific information in advance of our visit, and their recommendations were spot on. We found everyone in the community to be serious and respectful of covid precautions, and every place we turned to was open and welcome- grocery stores, outdoor dining, and ice cream shops.
If you want to spend time off the beaten path, yet within 15 minutes in any direction of tons to do, this property is a gem.
Stayed a week with family ages 21 to 84 Everyone enjoyed the home and location on the river. Close to grocery store and Saratoga Springs Would definitely stay again.
We love to explore NYS and this property was located between a few small towns that we haven’t seen. Close to Lake George, and Saratoga Springs, we even took a ride to Lake Placid in under 2 hours.
Thanks for allowing us to stay at your place in the Hudson.
Location is great. On the river 5 minutes from Corinth and 15 minutes from Lake George. The river gets a lot of boat traffic but everyone is cordial. Neighbors are quiet. Property is an older cottage but well maintained and everything you need is thoughtfully present. Would stay again.
Property is a great deal given that it is on private waterfront and has a dock. It’s cozy and quiet. Also in a ideal location that’s equidistant to Lake George and Saratoga Springs. The major draw backs are you are required to book in 1 week intervals, no linens (to include blankets) are provided, and the washer/dryer are locked up.

We are delighted that our guests feel that our property is an excellent value. We take great pride in our property and do everything that we can to ensure our guests have a wonderful time there. The listing is very clear that there is no washer or dryer available to guests (there are two laundromats, both within 2 miles of the house) as was communicated to this guest when he requested we unlock the machines. In addition the listing is equally clear about the minimum stay (1 week), check in/check out requirements (Saturday only) and that no linens (including blankets) are provided. This has been accepted by all of our guests for over 20 years, all of whom (other than this guest) did not view it as a drawback, but simply terms of the rental, clearly spelled out up front. We invite you to enjoy the excellent value and beautiful sights our property has, but yes, do bring your own bedding, towels and blankets.
Very nice and clean house right on the Hudson River. Very quiet & peaceful. It was so nice to enjoy coffee in the morning sitting in the Adirondack chairs, overlooking the river. But it's still close to the action - 20 mins to Lake George & 20 mins to Saratoga Springs. Everything is there to have a fun vacation on the river - floating dock to swim, 2 kayaks, 1 canoe, paddles & life jackets. There is a small boat launch nearby & boats can be tied to the floating dock. Plenty space & furniture for outdoor living. Great for families! The location of this house would also make a beautiful fall getaway, with an outdoor fire pit and 2 fireplaces inside.

River house perfection
The very extensive description of the river house was completely accurate. We could not have asked for more. Clean and well-maintained , as well as providing for every need or want, describe this perfectly. The waterfront was lovely, allowing for great swimming, canoeing and kayaking. The fire pit and firewood enabled many joyful evenings.
I recommend this to anyone and already plan to return.
