A great place to relax, sit back and enjoy. Never have to leave the cove - paddle boat, canoeing, swimming, fishing all right there.
House was conveniently located on lake, just a few steps to shore and in a quiet cove. There was ample space in the four bedrooms with a nice size living room but tight kitchen and eating area. Yard was on hill and not a lot of space but there was an area with horse shoe pit. Nice sized dock. Overall a good rental that was nicely decorated and well cared for. Our favorite part was the gated deck which was very big and super space for dogs!
This lake house exceeded all of our expectations! The house is very well appointed and inviting. We found everything we needed in the well stocked kitchen. We looked at many houses and this one had the best lake view from the huge deck. We could watch our kids swimming and paddle boarding as we relaxed. We really didn’t want to leave and are already taking about our return trip!
Such a cozy and comfortable house to stay in! We had a great time.
So glad you were comfortable and enjoyed your visit. We appreciate you taking great care of our cottage and look forward to having you visit again in the future.
We had a great time at Lake Keowee. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The docks are close together and since it was memorial weekend it was crowded! Everyone was nice and just having good times!
I'm so glad you all were able to get away together. It sounds like everyone had a great time. Love the photos you sent us. We are happy to host you and your family any time you want to visit again.

Karl & Erika Hoehne
Why Karl & Erika Hoehne chose Seneca
We have always been drawn to the water and used to camp frequently on the lake. We would load up our boat, tent and dog and spend the weekends decompressing from stressful jobs in Asheville. When our first child was born, we realized very quickly that tent camping was not as enjoyable anymore and decided it was time to set some more permanent roots. This house was begging for us to reinvent it. So, up for the challenge, we bought this diamond in the rough. We lovingly took it apart and over the first few years spent our weekends putting it back together. It is the perfect blend of cozy rooms, open views and comforts of home.
What makes this House unique
This cozy little cottage has everything you need. It has enough space but not too much that you feel "disconnected" from your family. Deep waters and little boat traffic make it the perfect place to spend the day in the water swimming, floating or having jumping contests off the dock. If you start to feel a little water logged, enjoy an afternoon nap on the hammock under the canopy of the trees or challenge the kids to a friendly competitive game of horseshoes. Taking an outside shower after a day in the sun is the perfect way to wrap up a long day on the lake.
