Very very nice place. Very spacious and very clean. Clay was easy to get ahold of and called us back if he missed our call. Had a blast and would most definitely stay here again

Texas State Graduation Getaway

We selected the perfect place to stay for our kiddo's graduation weekend. The short commute to Texas State from this fantastic river home enabled our group to enjoy graduation and related festivities in a manner not possible from a hotel. The home was easily accessible and accommodated our graduation party perfectly. We can't wait to get back there for an extended stay to enjoy the river activities.

The house was large and spacious and accommodated our family of 14 very well. It had a beautiful view of the Guadalupe River just below. We enjoyed our stay tremendously. A few casserole dishes could be added to what is in the kitchen, and possibly a few towels in the bathrooms. Overall we had a great stay.

River 2022 with friends

Was a great experience overall! Beautiful Home and amazing showers. Great location for the river. Only complaints is keep in mind where the sun sets this seemed to be the hottest house because of where the sun was and this house but easy access to river with plenty of shade down there! Didn’t know how to turn on patio door lights and didn’t think to bring to toilet paper. Over all would definitely revisit this house. Clay was amazing and a very quick responder

Bug house

The master bedroom is infested with bugs. We got bitten so badly that I had to go to the doctor to get antibiotics, histamine and ointment. My husband also got bitten. The dishwasher was so badly calcified my husband broke pieces of the element. The utensils were all dirty due to the calcified dishwasher. The tables outside and downstairs have not been cleaned in a long time. The BBQ grill downstairs were disgustingly dirty. And then the neighbors were so loud at night way past 11pm, we could not sleep. This place is no good for a family- if you are there to party and having a bachelorette or something then maybe. I wish VRBO allowed to post photos of how I look like.. The owner did offer to move us to a different unit but we had so much stuff to move just for two nights was not worth it. We slept in the other bedroom. It was supposed to be a good and fun trip to celebrate my husbands 50th and did not expect to go home with multiple bites. I also asked for how he would make it right and have not heard anything from him at all. What a disappointing weekend it was.

Great family trip!!

We had a great trip to the river and enjoyed our stay here! We did have a couple issues when we got there about gate/room codes but the owner was very prompt at helping us get in!! The unit was perfect for our family group of 9!!! We had plenty of room for everyone!! The only complaint that I had was that there were some pretty rowdy neighbors in the other units, which could obviously not be controlled! I addressed this to the owner so that he was aware and he immediately responded to me! The owner was very prompt at responding to a couple other minor things that I addressed as well!! We would definitely recommend this property!!

Great place to stay !!

Very clean and accessible to river. This is the Second time I have stayed in one of Clay’s rental properties on the Guadalupe . Definitely recommended and will be coming back .

Great River Trip

This house was perfect! The tubing rental co. next door was very easy to work with. The house was well equipped. The only suggestion is to add to the list of things to bring: toilet paper, trash bags & kitchen towels. Can't wait to go back!

Bad experience

The house was very dirty. Location really bad because it was a lot of noice the all night, its not a quiet place to relax. This place is not for family with little kids. The river very dirty.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home! Listing was clear and as noted. Relaxing upper deck. Safe area with nice gated entrance. Floors could use a good scrubbing. Overall a great river location beside the tube rentals, although not directly on the water.

Location is great for a relaxing weekend, we didn’t have to drive anywhere the whole stay. There’s a nice spot to get in the water or out a chair down. Tube rentals in walking distance. The house is as shown

Great house

We had a family filled weekend at this house that included all age groups and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone and I especially loved that the house included a washer and dryer. There was room for the kids to play outside and the house was close to the river. The home owner was very responsive. We hope to return soon.

River road retreat

Peaceful retreat on beautiful River Rd. The whole place was great. We especially enjoyed the large 2nd floor deck. It has lots Orr room and plenty of places to sit. The bathrooms and kitchen are also a big plus!
