A Northwest dream vacation just an hour away from Seattle nestled in Madronas and towering Douglas Firs. Contemporary cedar home w/ 5+ acres of beachfront only an hour from Seattle. No ferries necessary to get there... Unless you'd like to boat over and drive from Bremerton, Southworth or Kingston.

Soak in the 180 degree view of the beach from the living room with 20' tall prow fronted windows. The home has a large master suite loft and two additional bedrooms on the main floor. Above the garage is another bedroom that has three beds (full + daybed + trundle) and has it's own dedicated bathroom. The house comfortably sleeps 10 people. The design of the house is ideal for two families.

Explore acres of pristine private tideland The beach offers many wildlife sightings - seals, otters, a multitude of sea ducks, eagles and herons. In the summer and fall, pick apples, cherries, raspberries and plums in the estate's orchard. Explore the North bay waters with kayak and SUP rentals in nearby Allyn.

For golf fans, Chamber's Bay in Tacoma recently hosted the U.S. Open is 30 minutes away. For those looking to play close by, the much lauded Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton is only 15 miles away.

Guests have access to propane BBQ, fire pit, firewood, outdoor dining tables, gazebo, and orchards. The immediate beach is part of the rental property. Beaches North and South are private property, but you are free to explore and walk the beach in either direction.

Great for families or a romantic getaway. The beach is safe and accessible, and the several acre property provides plenty of room to roam and small freshwater creek that's always a hit for kids. The town of Allyn is nearby and has a great ice cream shop, Big Bubbas Burgers, our favorite Mexican restaurant, kayak and SUP rentals, and don't miss the chainsaw art outdoor gallery.

About Young-Bean Song

We live in Seattle, and have enjoyed our property in the South Sound since 2009. Kelly makes wonderful homemade raspberry jam from the fruit from the property every year, and we have plans to plant a vineyard in the near future. Young-Bean loves to chase fish with his fly rod and our two boys through the woods.

Young-Bean Song purchased this house in 2009

Why Young-Bean Song chose Hood Canal, Puget Sound

The South Sound is a true gem. Like most, we first sought out the San Juans and Hood Canal. But after having two kids, we realized the waits times at the ferries were simply too costly and unpredictable. That's when we stumbled upon Case Inlet. Only an hour from Seattle, the pristine waters of the South Sound blew us away. 5+ acres is tough to find these days. So arriving at our Madrona lined beach without being sandwiched between other buildings was a dream come true.

What makes this house unique

Beautiful lawns and landscape with native plants and fruit orchards. Safe for kids, and wildlife sightings daily.

The property faces SW, so the full sun and sunsets are tough to beat. We go there year round. The prior owners built a signature woodshed that's we keep stocked for the cozy stove in the great room.

This may be sound odd to point out, but all the homes in area are on sewer (rather than septic which you fine in most rural areas and along the Hood Canal), so the waters are very clean.

With over 5+ acres, the experience of having your own slice of Pacific NW paradise without feeling crowded is very unique. You'll be surrounded by landscaped gardens and grape vines, orchard trees, gnarled Madronas and majestic Douglas Firs. Watch the sunset fireside, when the sky turns bright pink and the herons are out for the evening bite.

Beautiful home and inspiring view for a work retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We rented Young and Kelly's gorgeous home for a work retreat. The views provided endless inspiration for our strategy session, and the kitchen was large enough for all of us to cook our meals together which provided an excellent team building environment. Young was more than accommodating to ensure everything was perfect upon arrival, we so appreciated the welcoming service through the entire rental process as well as a mid week check in. The home sits on a beautiful inlet and we enjoyed making s'mores at the fire pit. One of our teammates from Australia had her first s'more ever here!

The property was quiet, spotless and comfortable, and ample wood for the wood stove. The Eagle's Nest over the garage provided a nice HR-appropriate separate apartment for our male colleague! Everything about this experience was perfect, and I would strongly recommend for small teams needing inspiration for a planning and bonding session.

Amazing property - the perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

I live in Kirkland but needed to find a getaway for the weekend with some relatives from out of town. The idea is to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the natural surroundings that Washington has to offer.

From the get-go, the owners were responsive and quickly helped us secure our last minute weekend trip. The property ended up being perfect and everything we hoped it would be. We relaxed at the property and the kids loved digging in the sand looking for sand dollars and little crabs. We picked up (limited amounts of) oysters and clams and enjoyed them as part of our dinner. It was sooo fun! We sat by the wonderful camp fire every night, roasted marshmallows, watched for shooting stars and listened to the water hitting against the sea wall. The property was well equipped and had everything we needed including firewood and plenty of towels. We had a wonderful family vacation and will be returning next year (if not sooner)!

The photos do not capture the beauty of the place!

  • 5 of 5

Young was a wonderful host. The transition into the place was seamless. The furnishings were comfortable and immaculate. Almost every morning we walked on the beach and every afternoon collected oysters. The photos do not capture the beauty of the place. It sits in a beautiful inlet on the Puget Sound about one hour away from Seattle. A wonderful getaway for my two year old daughter, wife, parents, grandmother, brother, sister, and brother-in-law. Thank you, Young, for everything.

  • 5 of 5

Victor Creek was awesome. We lucked out with the weather on this early weekend of May in Seattle!!!! We stayed here last year, and this year it was the same, A BLAST. We ate oysters and fresh clams all weekend long. The kids had an awesome time looking for small crabs under the beach rocks. Thanks for sharing victor creek with my family. Will def. return.

Beach oasis

  • 5 of 5

House and grounds are amazing. Private beach with oysters, clams, a fire pit, and a kayak for guest use. Fruit trees and a well maintained garden. Quiet and isolated feeling, but not too far from Gig Harbor. House is new and spacious. Owners are super friendly and responsive.
