Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Other than the TV issue, having 1 Armenian channel only. The place was nice and clean. The manager was really helpful and prompt. We're happy with the place. Thank you.
The house was adequate and suited our needs for a week, but there was a lot to be desired. #1)-- I was taken aback by there being no coverings on the transom doors at the front entrance. Once it got dark all sorts of people were looking directly into the house as they walked by. We finally had to go buy some paper to cover them for privacy. #2)-- I found it strange that there was no coffee table in the living room. We had nowhere to put our beverages or anything as we sat on the sofa. So I went and brought mine from home. #3)--The slipcover on the sofa was shabby, smelly and didn't fit properly. #4)-- No cable. Really???? In this day and age I just found that appalling! The TV only got ONE CHANNEL and the reception on that was sketchy! Now granted, we were out and about most of the day, but when we came home at night we couldn't watch any of our favorite shows. To add insult to injury, we rented some dvd's from the local Redbox but couldn't watch them because the dvd player didn't work. What???? That's ridiculous! Surely you collect enough in rental fees to offer basic cable and a working dvd player. #5-- The backyard is a disgrace! How about doing SOMETHING.......ANYTHING to make it look presentable. Remove all of the weeds and crabgrass and put some artificial grass or wood chips or gravel or decomposed granite. Just do something to make it look like you at least care what your guests have to look at. And how about a table with an umbrella to provide a modicum of shade? #6-- No curtains on the back door or kitchen windows. We had to hang a sheet over them every night for privacy. #7--Someone next door or in the house in the rear had a little yappy dog that they would let out at 11:30, 12:00 at night at let it bark INCESSANTLY FOR AN HOUR!!! WTF???? #8--I got a $73 ticket for parking on the street as instructed! NO ONE warned us about the alternate street parking from 11am - 1pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. All we saw when we would come home at night was cars lined up on both sides of the street. We had NO IDEA that the neighbors were coming out and moving their cars in the morning. And the signs are at least 200 feet from the residence under a tree where we never saw it. I think it should have been posted somewhere in the little house manual about the parking. So in closing, I would say that if they could fix those listed issues the next family might have a better go of it.
Very good location. Close to the new Sprouts store and Auntie Em's Restaurant, Walgreen's and Target. Had a nice stay.
Nice location for where we needed to be. Quite neighborhood. Nice big bed in the bedroom.
Our family (my husband, 90 year old mother, her toy poddle, and myself) enjoyed a comfortable 3 night stay in the Eagle Rock cottage while visiting other family in the area.
This efficient home has all the essentials - well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, Internet access, TV, books, updated bathroom and comfortable beds.
The fenced backyard was OK for the dog, but could use a bit of TLC to make it attractive for guests.
Overall, we felt that the house was clean, convenient and in a quiet neighborhood. We will definitely look for this rental the next time we visit!
The Eagle Rock cottage was a very convenient home base for our visit with family in the area. We especially appreciated being able to bring my mother's toy poodle along for the trip. The small house has a good open layout and all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning was very nice! The beds have good mattresses. One note of caution, the king bed has very little walking space on the right so be careful of accidentally hitting the bed frame! Overall, we enjoyed our three night stay at the Eagle Rock Cottage.
