Graduation

We came from Humboldt for our granddauters graduation. Teresa was very nice and accommodating. The space is right on the Rogue River with a beautiful view. The kids loved the pool with slde! We really enjoyed our stay.

Kids & Grands Visit

My wife and I traveled from Texas to visit the kids and grandkids. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and host. We were able to enjoy the pool with our local family and just hang out. Our host was also very generous by giving us lots of home made goodies and even a bottle of local wine. The view of the river was a bonus. The quarters were well equipped with everything you’ll need. The room does have three skylights, so if you want to sleep in you may want to consider eye covering. We will definitely book this property for our next visit.

River in the rain

Teresa is such a lovely host. The room was perfect, cute, interior design with lots of special touches. Bed was super comfortable which can be hard to find. Would stay again in a heartbeat. River view spectacular.

Great stay

We were welcomed when arrived and showed the space and how to use the pool and slide. Room was spacious and clean with a nice welcome bottle of wine. The property was great right on the river and look forward to staying again.

West coast getaway

The property was very well maintained and clean. Our host was on site daily and communication was great! The location was fantastic! Close to downtown in a quiet neighborhood.

Heavenly Abode

We loved our stay. Teresa was super welcoming and a great person. Her love for dogs was truly evident on how she made sure our dog had all the fun. The pool was a blessing and a respite from the heat. We will definitely refer this place to our friends and extended family. Can't wait to be there again :)

Loved everything about it!

We definitely plan to book another stay at this amazing property. Such a peaceful setting right on the Rogue River. The heated saline pool was so much fun. Teresa is such a great host, super attentive and helpful.

Perfect summer getaway

We spent a week at Riverside and had a great time playing in the pool! The room is comfortable and nicely decorated. The kitchen is complete. This was our third stay and we will be back next year.

Perfect!

This was our 2nd time staying here. There is everything you need and more. Teresa is extremely nice, and helpful. The place is clean, comfy, & our dog loves to play outside by the river. There's plenty of shopping & restaurants nearby. We'll be back!

We'll be back!

Teresa's place had everything we wanted -- clean, comfortable, a great location with lots of welcoming personal touches and fun decor. Teresa was a really thoughtful host and we felt well taken care of. We played in the pool, had a BBQ, and our dog loved the fenced yard. Hiking nearby as well. Morning coffee on the patio by the river was perfect. Looking forward to staying here again!

Another Wonderful Stay at Dun Movin

This was our second stay here and we enjoyed it even more than the first stay. Because VRBO overbooked the first night we had the opportunity to stay in the cottage the first night as well as the poolside room for the rest of our stay. Both are lovely. This place is heaven on Earth. A warm 82 degree saltwater pool as well as the beautiful Rogue river right out the back door. Very dog friendly which is a plus for us. We will definitely be back.

Tranquil

Beautiful area , peaceful with birds chirping and the river flowing by. If you’re looking for a “do nothing” kind of get away this is it. Fishing at the rivers edge, or sitting by the pool enjoying a glass of wine, you can literally forget your worries for awhile. We’ll be back

Absolutely perfect!

Thank you, Teresa for sharing your beautiful property with us! Everything about our stay was so enjoyable...thank you for the welcome bottle of wine...a supply of chocolates...use of the amazing pool. We truly enjoyed meeting you, Xena and Cesar. Property is in a great location for exploring Rogue River trail hikes, mountain biking, kayaking, etc., etc! We will be back...and plan to stay longer in this beautiful area next time!

Teresa is a great host with a LOVELY property!

You won't find a nicer, more accessible place to stay than Riverside on the Rogue! Teresa is super nice, a great communicator, and her pool is AMAZING! You can even throw axes while taking in the sights and sounds of the Rogue River! I appreciate how disabled accessible Teresa's place is - I was able to maneuver through the space in my mobility scooter without an issue. Her pool even has a super sturdy handrail to help you get out - and that is weirdly rare for residential pools. I'd highly recommend Teresa and Riverside on the Rogue!

Clean & Beautiful

Teresa was the best host ever. The property is right on the river(the dog loved it also). Extremely clean, you can ask for anything she’ll get it but we couldn’t think of anything. The decors beautiful, bed warm & comfy. She loves dogs & animals. You’ll have shampoo conditioner paper towels foil plastic all the cookware you need plus Keurig & k cups. Nearby to shopping & restaurants. We’ll be back!

Don’t Stay Here

We drove 4hrs from Portland and as we arrived Teresa decided to extend her family members that were staying here and told me it was VRBO’s fault (system error with scheduling). VRBO customer service said this is definitely not the case and that she wasn’t telling the truth. We were stranded until we used an alternate platform since VRBO wouldn’t allow same-day booking for an alternative. I gave Teresa a chance to own it and she straight up lied. No telling what a person like this will do in the future so I thought it worthwhile to warn anyone else intending on a long journey to stay here. Don’t get stranded like we did :(

Exceeded Expectations

Unique, eclectic gem, artfully decorated and comfortable. Grounds and pool are beautiful and inviting. Host was gracious and very responsive. We will definitely be back.

This question asks 'Why this property?'. Why indeed. There are any number of other choices a traveler can make. Occasionally I will hear “Wow, you’re expensive.” And i think, “Really? Compared to what?” See… some people drive a Lexus; some drive a Kia, some people eat tamales from the lady at the farmers market; some like theirs from a can, some people value the experience, quality and memories made when choosing their accommodations; some are okay as long as the door locks.

Any car will get you where you need to go.
Any food will fill you up.
Most any bed will produce sleep.
The end result is the same.

The QUALITY of the results differ.
