Escape the hustle and bustle of city life with a mere 1.5-hour drive from Toronto to our serene lakeside retreat. Nestled on a quiet bay, our cottage boasts 165 feet of Lake Frontage, providing the perfect backdrop for your getaway.

Measuring approximately 1400 sq ft, our newly renovated cottage features a spacious deck, ideal for soaking in the tranquil views. Inside, you'll find three bedrooms, while a cozy Bunkie with a pullout couch offers additional sleeping space during the summer months.

The heart of our cottage is its open-concept design, seamlessly blending the kitchen, family room, and dining area. Fully equipped with modern amenities including a stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker, our kitchen ensures your culinary needs are met. A full bathroom with a large shower complements this area, while Internet, Roku TV, and a selection of board games provide entertainment options for all ages.

Venture down the main hall to discover the inviting bedrooms, including a Queen bed, a bunk (double, single, single trundle), and a master suite overlooking the lake, complete with a King bed and its own entrance to a shared washroom. The master suite also houses a convenient stackable washer/dryer.

Step outside to enjoy the abundance of outdoor amenities. A bunkie with a pullout couch and TV provides a cozy retreat during warmer months, while a spacious deck with a barbecue and dining table offers the perfect setting for al fresco meals. Additional outdoor seating surrounds a fire table on the lower deck, creating an inviting ambiance for evening gatherings.

A short stroll leads to the sandy, shallow waterfront, where a beach entry provides easy access to the water. Explore the lake with our included amenities, including a canoe, two kayaks, two kayaks for kids, two paddle boards, and a peddle boat. After a day of adventure, gather around the outdoor fire pit next to the beach for s'mores and stories under the stars.

Great place to getaway for a few days.

The cottage has more than everything you need and is still a close drive to all amenities you would want. My 4 year old loved it and even my elderly grandmother was able to enjoy the home and the firepit area. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful property with peaceful lake views! The cottage is simply lovely with everything you need to enjoy your vacation. We enjoyed the ample living space and large kitchen. It was nice to have options for sitting outside and enjoying nature. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The entire place was very clean with simple and charming decor. This is a beautiful, well maintained cottage with all the amenities anyone would need. The property is private, quite large and the view is amazing. There is a very nice restaurant only a few minutes away. The only negative is that the lake is very weedy. You can’t really swim in it but that is no fault of the owner. It’s a nice lake to canoe, kayak or fish. If you’re not that interested in swimming, it’s perfect.

Wonderful cottage! Clean, beautiful, and well stocked. Easy access to the dock and water, with absolutely stunning sunsets. Vivian was very responsive, and we kept busy with all of the games, puzzles, and great hiking nearby (Tree Museum). I highly recommend this lovely cottage on Sparrow Lake!

Very relaxing. Everyone enjoyed it. Husband would have wished to stay for an extra day -- 9 days instead of 8. Next time we will know. One thing I really liked was that there were several sets of cutlery and dishes and glasses, not your usual 8 (or even 4!) The kitchen was very fully equipped in general.

We enjoyed our stay and found the cottage lovely. It had a large deck and large backyard. There is a steep incline from the deck to get to the waterfront and firepit. The waterfront was not so good for swimming as it was rocky and weedy, however there are plenty of water float toys to make use of. Thanks Kathy

Great family getaway.

Cottage is wonderful and has just about everything you would want. We were 5 adults and 2 children and did not feel cramped. Air conditioning was adequate and there were plenty of fans as well. Beds in cabin were very comfortable. Screen enclosure around patio deck was greatly appreciated. Sparrow Lake is beautiful and we had some great fish feasts. It will be a memory we will all cherish.
