Para llegar a Kettle House, conduces a través de un pequeño puente hacia una isla boscosa. Siga el camino curvo pasando tres casas, deteniéndose en la cuarta para girar en el camino de entrada y aparcar. Cruza el camino y abre la puerta. ¡Tus vacaciones comienzan!

Para ingresar a la casa, pase por el gran patio donde se encuentra una parrilla de gas de primera línea esperando su próximo filete. Al entrar, estás en la gran sala con una pared de puertas de vidrio que se abren a un balcón con vista al lago. Además de un televisor de 46 ", la sala de estar ofrece un comedor para seis. Una chimenea está disponible para calentarlo en las noches frescas.

Diviértase con WiFi y cable, así como una estación de acoplamiento y juegos. La cocina está recién reformada y bien equipada para cocinar. Dos habitaciones queen y una habitación con una litera doble sobre litera completa cómodamente ocho. Kettle House tiene dos baños completos, uno con bañera de hidromasaje y accesorios Kohler; El otro está recién remodelado.

Debido a que se extiende a ambos lados de una isla, la propiedad Kettle House tiene dos costas. Un porche filtrado con un bar da a la costa en frente de la casa. Relájese en la hamaca con vista al lago y disfrute de la puesta de sol entre los árboles.

El segundo litoral, "Abajo", está al otro lado de la isla, donde los cedros lo hacen sombreado y tranquilo. Un gran campo de hierba junto a esta orilla invitará a su grupo a jugar a la pelota o al cornhole. O lanzar uno de los dos kayaks provistos. A veces puedes escuchar las carreras en Road America. Muchos eventos de pista están abiertos al público y están a solo cinco minutos de distancia. Un campo de golf público se encuentra a poca distancia, y los campos de PGA, Whistling Straits y Blackwolf Run, están a 20 minutos en coche. Si te gusta andar en bicicleta, caminar o andar en moto de nieve, querrás visitar el cercano Parque Estatal Kettle Moraine. Wonderful get-away

Beautiful location. Secluded and peaceful. Check-in was simple and hosts provided detailed directions and info. Not a problem the entire week. We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, relaxing and ended the week at Road America. Highly recommend!

We love staying at the Kettle House. It is so much fun for the grandkids. They just love swimming in the fresh, clear water and jumping off the lily pad. I think this is the best swimming spot on the whole lake. We also love the sunroom to relax in too. The boys enjoy fishing and caught more fish right from the dock this year than out in the lake. We always have a great time here and can't wait for next summer to come back again.

We had a great time again this year. The weather was warm and sunny for the most part. We spent most of the time swimming and kayaking. We loved jumping/diving off the pier into the water. The Lilypad was also hit this year. When we weren't swimming, we were hanging out on the deck watching the boats go by or in the cottage watching tv or playing game. We will definitely rent again next year. Tim

Fishing and Fishing

We usually stay here in the summer but chose a fall trip to just hang with friends and fish. As always it was a relaxing time. This is a great little house and we love it.

The place was great and so was the weather. The addition of the sand “box” was a nice touch. Liz was great to work with as usual. Would definitely rent again.

Great property

This is an amazing place to stay. Being directly on the lake with all the amenities to enjoy is truly wonderful. The house has everything on site to enjoy and relax. Seems the A/C has a little trouble keeping up on hot days but a quick swim definitely does the trick to cool off!

The place is well furnished and steps from the water. If we weren't outside swimming, floating on rafts, and kayaking, we were inside playing games and watching the boats race by. We would definitely rent this place again.

Island Getaway

We've stayed on the island before and it never disappoints. We had a great time again this year. The weather this year was perfect. We spent most of the days swimming and kayaking and the nights playing games and watching tv. We really enjoyed the new lily pad. We can't wait to rent it again next summer.

3 couples annual getaway

We get together once a year from Omaha, St. Louis and Chicago. The house met all of our needs - close to Elkhart Lake, the track and a little day trip to Sheboygan. Had one fisherman with us so he enjoyed the docks while the rest of us either went to the track or to the farmer's market. The screen porch was especially nice. Beautiful location! When another trip is planned for that area, we will certainly remember the Kettle House!

Island getaway!

The weather was hot and sunny. The lake was warm and clear. If we weren't in the water swimming, we were kayaking, paddle boating, or just sitting by the lake watching the boats go by. At night we sat at the kitchen table and played cards and watched tv. We've rented this place before and would definitely rent again. Thanks Liz. Tim

Tremendous!

My wife and I attended a road-racing event (our first) at Road America and found Kettle House on VRBO. The house is not big, but is well-laid-out and spacious. It has four (4!) decks overlooking Crystal Lake, which is a beautiful little lake. Lots of boating, fishing, swimming, etc. We could have spent our whole week at the house. But we didn't. The Road America gates were 6 minutes from our driveway, and charming Elkhart Lake village was less than that. The owners are very meticulous in their care of the house, as well as their instructions to their guests. Thanks, Liz and Dave. Our Kettle House vacation was a 10 on a 10-point scale. We hope we get the opportunity to go back.

Perfect Lakefront Retreat Near Road America

We recently stayed at this lovely home on Crystal Lake Island and had a fantastic experience. The location is simply beautiful, just minutes from Road America, which made our outings convenient. The property was immaculate and had a quaint charm that made it feel like a true getaway. One standout feature was the thoughtful provision of a starter set of supplies. Given that we flew in, it was incredibly helpful to have bottled water, shampoo, body wash, coffee, plenty of TP and PT, and even Tylenol, Advil, and allergy meds (among other things). This level of consideration is beyond what we've encountered in other VRBO rentals and was greatly appreciated. The home itself had ample space for our group of five, with two stunning lakefront areas to relax and enjoy the serene views. The neighbors were also very friendly, which added to the welcoming atmosphere. Everyone in our group slept well, and I particularly enjoyed the lower bunk bed where I slept. The sheets were soft, and the bed was comfy. A particularly nice touch was the water softening system. Hard water is common in Wisconsin, at least at the places we've stayed, but this property has a water softening system which I do believe helped with showering. Google "hard water" if you're not familiar.. Soaps and shampoos seem to never rinse off. Overall, our stay was delightful!! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-appointed retreat near Road America!!

Beautiful views

Beautiful views from the entire house, and decks. Several areas to enjoy outdoor surroundings. Enjoyed the two locations of access to deep water. Kitchen fully stocked to cook great meals.

Great Lake Cabin

The house has a fantastic, private outdoor area that includes a long deck just above the dock and Maui Mat, a screened porch, an upper deck and a large patio. There is also the other shoreline that has a dock and a nice spot to launch kayaks, paddle boards, etc. If you want to spend time on or near the lake, you won’t do any better than this. The inside has an open concept living room and kitchen with lake views and access to the upper deck and patio. The bedrooms are small but worked fine for our group. Would definitely stay again and recommend for those looking for an authentic lake cabin experience.

The place was great. The weather was great. The lake was great. Would definitely rent again.

The place was clean and well stocked. We love the property and the proximity to the lake. The lake is only steps away. We love jumping into the water from the pier and watching the boats go by. There is even a shade tree for sitting on the deck when the sun is out.

What a relaxing place!

We had such a great time at this location! We came to town with friends to do a supper club tour where my wife grew up, and also spend some time at Road America. This house was very convenient and had everything we wanted for 6 adults. We'll definitely be back!

perfect location

We had a family gathering for a funeral and stayed together, since we all come from different parts of the state of WI. This was really perfect for us all. All the amenities met our needs, the views were beautiful! We loved watching the sun rise and set in the area! The only issues that I wish were different, is the screen porch furniture was soiled and the area was not cleaned.

Family fun

Staying at the Kettle House has become a bit of a tradition for us and the grandkids look forward to it every year. The downstairs sunroom is a favorite place to hang out when not in the lake. The lily pad is a hit with the kids. The owners have maintained and improved this property over the years. We missed the yellow kayak this year though, but still had fun. Thanks again for a nice relaxing stay.
