Summary: This luxurious property is probably the most beautiful house in our portfolio. It is in a superb position right in the picturesque famous village of Valbonne, only about 100 m from the centre, but tucked away in a very secluded location. It is in an elevated position with views over the surrounding countryside. This house would be an ideal choice for a very special holiday.

Weekly rate: July and August € 6300 , September only € 5500
Special rates in 2021 from Saturday 28 August 2021 and all September, October November and December 2021

No further charge from the owner except final cleaning to the maids and consumption of electricity according to the counter ( see below) , no extra charge for the pool heating

Description: STUNNING VILLA , if you look for a very quiet place and yet are literally just one minute on foot from the 16 century old town of Valbonne,.
With its heated pool and walled-in property it is Ideal for children and for adults going on foot to 20 restaurants and many shops of the "Vieux Village" of Valbonne
No need to worry about parking and police after a good dinner with wine !

This recently built south -oriented villa with air-conditioning is nevertheless completely quiet, has a totally secluded garden with a private , heated pool and offers charming views over the village and hills. Very sunny property, garden and pool enjoy sun all day as facing south.

The villa itself is light and spacious. The sitting room has high ceilings and an original Louis XIII fireplace from a French chateau in Burgundy, stone floor tiles, antique furniture, hand painted ceramics in the bathrooms and an open access to the dining room. All four double-size bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, two are located on the upper floor; all four bedrooms as well as the dining and sitting room have air-conditioning. Except for two sleeping rooms on the upper floor, all other rooms and the kitchen are only on one level with the entrance door of the house , also on one level with the two patios outside. No steps , Ideal for persons with walking difficulties.
There is a mezzanine family room for TV, perfect for children, and another TV in the main bedroom for the adults
You enjoy two covered patios outside on one level with the house with two separate barbecues, one in each patio (charcoal and gas)
For all guests linen and towels are included in the price.
The garden is completely fenced in and children friendly. The pool is secured by an alarm system and can be heated. We regret we do not accept pets at the villa.
Valbonne is one if the very sought after and precious charming places behind CANNES with its famous Friday markets and its historic setting, fine shops and restaurants.
Our villa enjoys a private lane of 100 meters without cars (except for residents) to walk to the center of the old village of Valbonne. Parking space for your car is plenty available.

Home away from home

We found the property by chance on VRBO few years ago and have been back twice since and will be returning with our 4&6 year old kids again this July! We have come to think of it as our French home away from home. The house is beautifully located and the interior and exterior space makes for a fabulous family vacation. The pool on the lower terrace gives enough separation that you can keep the kids safely away and the pool alarm adds that extra level of comfort. The owners continue to maintain and upgrade the property well and the new BBQ area on the terrace gets used daily for those lunch and evening meals overlooking the valley. The short stroll to town is easy and avoids having to worry about cars and parking, although a glass or two of Provence wine helps with the walk back up the hill afterwards which could be a challenge for those less mobile. Most hire cars will fit up the lane to the house (we had a Volvo C90 last year and were fine) but if you have a very large people carrier it can get a little narrow to maneuver round the corner at the bottom. The house is perfect for one or two families to enjoy a wonderful escape.

My favorite 2 weeks of the summer

We have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful villa for several weeks each summer for 8 years. We always return to this special house located within walking distance to the restaurants and boutiques of charming Valbonne. My two daughters have grown up returning each summer and every time, the owner has made appropriate updates to make our stay even better. The views and outdoor seating areas are spectacular. The bedrooms are well appointed. We always look forward to this trip and hope we can continue going.

Coming back this summer-so nice!

We spent two weeks here last summer with 4 adults and one child. The accommodations are first rate and the house well air conditioned. The AC was very important to us as we are accustomed to it in the hot summers and it made such a BIG difference. The pool and environment very secluded and very clean with pool service provided. We loved the outdoor terrace and spent every evening viewing the stars and morning coffees were enjoyed every day, too. Interiors lovely and kitchen we'll-equipped. We are so looking forward to staying here again with our friends from England who are happy to join us again. Delightful soujourn and a short walk to town for our daily bread and Friday markets are a big event. You should not miss staying here if you get the chance; we have stayed elsewhere and this is the best. Oh... Wifi works & is always an essential for us wherever we travel in the world.

Our house is very much demanded as only 1 minute on foot to the village , and yet completely secluded . Nobody sees the garden, pool and grill area
In 2020 the house is only available from Saturday 4 July 2020 up to 1 August 2020 and from Saturday 5 September 2010 to 3 October 2020 as other weeks have been booked already

What makes this property unique

Our house is on top of a private lane, right at the dead end, very quiete and secluded, yet one minute on foot to the center of the old village of Valbonne. From other houses in walking distance to the village you have to use a much frequented road with heavy traffic, whereas on our lane you go on foot one minute and will not meet a car except from a neighbor who also lives on this private lane . We have a private parking space for 2 extra guest cars in front of the gate and enough parking room for your own cars directly in the courtyard of the house
