Kahuna Kabana è un rifugio con una camera da letto, perfetto per una coppia o una piccola famiglia. Questo accogliente appartamento è il luogo ideale per visitare l'isola di Tybee! Il piano terra, un appartamento con una camera da letto si trova sulla spiaggia di Butler Avenue ea pochi passi dalla spiaggia - 4 edifici tornano per essere precisi! Inoltre, si trova proprio di fronte al Memorial Park, che ospita la nostra biblioteca, YMCA, parco giochi, postazioni per grigliate a carbone, campi da tennis, da basket e da pallavolo sulla sabbia.

Kahuna Kabana è piacevolmente aggiornato e dispone di una zona giorno aperta e cucina. La cucina abitabile offre un tavolo per 3 persone ed è completamente attrezzata con l'eccezione di non avere una lavastoviglie. La zona giorno è ben arredata e comprende una grande TV a schermo piatto e un divano letto per accogliere ospiti supplementari. La camera da letto è arredata con un letto Queen Size Sleep Number regolabile. Questo letto offre comfort ad ogni ospite, in quanto è regolabile per adattarsi al livello di comfort ottimale. La camera da letto ha anche una TV a schermo piatto e un bagno annesso, completamente ristrutturato con cabina doccia.

Il solarium arredato sul fronte della casa comprende un tiki bar con 4 posti a sedere. Due condizionatori d'aria e ventilatori a soffitto in soggiorno e camera da letto. Non c'è lavatrice e asciugatrice presso la struttura, tuttavia, una lavanderia a gettoni si trova a soli 5 isolati di distanza.

La connessione Internet wireless è disponibile. Parcheggio fuori strada per un (1) solo veicolo.

We loved our anniversary get away here! Very comfortable, close to everything, had everything we needed. No issues or complaints at all! We’ll definitely be back! The hosts were amazing! Perfect short walk to the beach. Highly recommend!

Great location great staff.

I really enjoyed this property and it was close to everything that I wanted to do at Tybee Island. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Cute property close to the beach. Comfy for relaxing or when you are inside during a rainy day. Unfortunately wasn't overly clean when we checked in, spills down the front of the cabinets, layer of dust in the dishes, garbage can wasn't touchable and the floor was gritty and dirty throughout. Almost looks like someone forgot to finish cleaning after the last checkout.Overall we had a great time and the lack of cleaning didn't spoil the great time we had at Tybee!

The Kahuna Kabana was in a perfect location for the two of us to experience Tybee Island.

Check in was simple, and the location was very centralized on the island, as well as a quick walk to the beach. The Kabana is adorable and very beachy and we just loved it. Many thanks to Chip and Judy for their hospitality and to Tybee Rentals for the easy communication!

Laid Back Beach Getaway

Kahuna Kabana was the perfect place for my husband and I for the weekend. Just the right size for two people, it had everything we needed and was so close to the beach. We will definitely be back.

Just what we needed!

The place was perfect for us..clean, quiet, very close to the beach and we were centrally located. We rented bikes and rode the island daily. The owners were great! Plan on staying next year!

Close to the beach

This is an older property, simple accommodations, no frills, but comfortable and nicely decorated and clean. Easy beach access, with free parking space, which at $4 per hour public parking anywhere on the island is important. Nice TV, shower, bed, small but updated bathroom. No dishwasher but everything you need to make simple meals. We enjoyed our stay.

May vacation

It was very close to the beach; which was something i was worried about. It only took a few minutes to walk. Place was cute and bed was very comfortable. Shower had great watet pressure and the owners were extremely nice and helpful. It was located on the corner of a busy street and traffic was loud. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Kahuna Kabana

We enjoyed our stay at the Kahuna Kabana, Ms. Judy was an awesome host, we felt like family staying at her place. She checked in with us to make sure everything was OK and even told us to call when we decide to come back. We saved her number because we will definitely be coming back to Tybee and staying at the Kahuna Kabana. This is such a cute place, right off the beach for those nightly beach walks. Everything was awesome!

July 2020 Stay

What a great little cottage attached to a home, but totally separate. This little one bedroom one bath with a nice sized shower was completely adorable. It was perfect doe two adults and really is only 100 yards from the beach; the boardwalk across the dunes to the ocean is on the same street and no crossing Butler/Highway 80! The house is old and in good shape, and it has a great story. Make sure to check out the blue binder! We loved our stay at Kahuna Kabana and will definitely return!

All the essentials

This little cabana provides all the necessities without breaking the bank. If you're looking for the Hilton experience, it's not for you. If you're looking for a moderately priced cabana that is steps to the beach, clean, and has all the basics, consider this property. The owner, Judy, was super nice. That said, this is a portion of an older home. So it has some quirky features to it such as low ceilings and old plumbing. Nonetheless, it met our needs just fine. We would consider staying here again.

Decent place to stay

Me and my wife were celebrating our honey moon and saw the pictures online and thought to pick this place. Initial impression wasn’t that great because we realized that is was apart of a triplex which we were not expecting a detail we might of glanced over. There was a door in the place that we could not lock that seemed to connect to other places in the triplex which was a little unnerving. But everything was really clean, no bugs, and a very comfy bed and the ac worked well. The tv all worked with no issues and it turned out to be a nice little place to stay by the beach. It was really well located on the island and we were happy to have a place to park! Overall I was happy with experience and would stay again now that I know what to expect. We did have issues with the guest portal and couldn’t log in, to check out, we tried calling and emailing but haven’t gotten a response from the rental company.

Helene tried, failed, to mess up our week

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Kahuna Kabana for a week (plus). It was convenient to the beach, clean and comfortable. Except for one place next door (“The Deck”, quite good, by the way) it was a bit of a walk to restaurants. But, evening walks on the beach, and after a good meal, are good things, right? The property owners live upstairs (very separate from the Kahuna Kabana) but we got to meet them and they are super. Since we had a weather encounter with Helene, we got to test some extra “features”. For one thing, the owners invited us to use a more substantial part of the structure during the several tornado warnings. Second, we could charge our cell phones on their generator. By the way, Tybee’s government and Georgia Power deserve a mention here. The power was back on and the roads to the mainland were cleared in about a day. They seemed like real pros at this storm stuff. We probably should have left instead of staying, but I feel like we kinda got away with the mistake. Especially since we might have tried to go to Asheville, NC for a couple days on the way home. (Wow, that would have been bad!)

Beach Escape

Quaint bungalow perfect for a couples getaway. Everything you need for a beach vacation. Location is central and close to everything. Highly recommend Kahuna Kabana.

Perfect for two. Owners are southern hospitality in it's finest. Steps from the beach. You will love it! Right in the middle so access is perfect to north and south beach.

Location is everything

The location was perfect, steps from the ocean. This place is midtown, close to downtown and north beach. Very easy to either walk everywhere or ride a bike everywhere. Tim’s bike rental actually will deliver and pick up bikes. I would definitely go back to Tybee Island. This particular VRBO needs some maintenance and a better cleaning but the owners Chip and Judy were delightful!
