Cute & Convenient One Bedroom in North/Central Austin

My place is great for couples, solo adventurers or business travelers who are looking for a longer term stay. This is a private one bedroom, one bath condo on the first floor, located in North/Central Austin - a prime and convenient area to a lot of amenities and not far from The Domain, Q2 Stadium (home of Austin FC), The Arboretum and Downtown. You'll have the entire condo to yourself, which comes with a comfy queen mattress for a great night's sleep, spacious closet, air mattress (if needed), fully stocked kitchen and washer & dryer. WiFi and basic cable are included. A custom sliding barn door helps separate the bedroom from the living room. The shower was renovated in Feb of 2024, and the HVAC is new as of June 2024. Just a heads up - every unit on the first floor can hear their neighbors above them, so know that you may hear my upstairs neighbors from time to time.

Austin Allandale Apartment

This was a great apartment for our summer in Austin. The location was ok for our use and the neighbors were friendly. There were a couple of problems- the lock needed a new battery and the AC went out. Gloria handled both very quickly, which was greatly appreciated. I'd stay there again if I were in Austin.

Perfect short term rental!

This place was pretty much perfect for what I needed - short 5 month lease to get me to the end of grad school. The location was great (lots of good restaurants, coffee shops) and only a 10 min drive to the domain or 15 down to campus. Felt very safe staying here as a single female - parking lot is well lit and never had an issue getting a spot next to my building. Condo association and the tenant were always awesome about updating me when they would be doing maintenance/events going on so I’d be up to date. Tenant is also very responsive if you have questions/need help with anything.

Great Stay, Great Host

We would like to thank our host for our terrific stay in her condo. The kitchen was super stocked for any of our needs. The bed was comfortable and the entire unit was cozy. It was warm on the cold days and cool on the hot Texas days/evenings. The unit was clean and bug free. We appreciate how quickly we received assistance on our questions and how understanding our host was. The condo is located near 183 and the Mopac but didn't hear any traffic noise from those expressways. It is also well situated near grocery and other stores, and near The Domain for a variety of shopping and restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would rent again if available.

Great location

We rented this condo for my 21 year old son to live in while he had an internship in north Austin. It was perfect for him and only ten minutes from his job. Gloria was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. He had an issue with the A/C and toilet and both were handled quickly. The kitchen is small but perfect for the solo traveler or a couple. It was nice that there was a washer and dryer in the unit. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had everything he needed. He also managed to pack a set of sheets that were the condos to bring home to AZ. Gloria was understanding and we quickly sent her a new replacement set.

I stayed for 51 days. I had stayed in this complex before so I knew what to expect as far as the neighborhood, stores, etc. Everything was as expected. Bed was comfortable. Had nice weather toward the end and was able to enjoy the pool. Gloria was very responsive with questions/concerns. My only complaint is the roost of grackles in the trees near the apartment. There are a lot of droppings on the side walk - one of which hit me as well as one of the grackles flew into me. I don't know what if anything can be done about this, but I did mention to Gloria. There are a lot of grackles in Austin. Even with the grackles, I would stay here again if the condo was not booked.

Comfortable space and easy stay

Gloria's apartment was very comfortable and close to everything I needed on my trip. I had a minor issue with the filtered water tap while I was there, but Gloria sent someone out to fix it promptly. I would definitely stay again if it wasn't already booked out well into the future! Thank you Gloria for an easy and pleasant stay!

Amazing property!

I stayed at this property for a span of 3 months. Gloria quickly responded with any questions I had and kept me updated on changes around the complex. This was a beautiful place and was very clean. You could occasionally hear the upstairs neighbors as mentioned but it was not very disturbing at all. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Austin.

Just what we needed

My husband needed a simple short-term rental near downtown as he began a new job. This apartment was exactly what he needed. No frills or fuss, but clean and convenient. Owner was easy to work with.

Enjoyed our stay at Gloria’s condo.

We found Gloria’s condo very well appointed with like new appliances,well stocked kitchen utensils, very clean and tidy. The area around the complex had a wide variety of coffee shops,restaurants, retail shops and entertainment venues. Any issues we had were promptly corrected when we brought them to Gloria’s attention. As Gloria states in the condo description, you will hear the tenants above when they move around or drop or move things. Complex is well maintained and quiet.

Great condo with very nice owner

Stayed in this one bedroom one bathroom condo a few days over the winter holiday. The owner was always prompt in her responses and put together a very in depth guide on the property and what to do in town. The place itself was clean and comfortable. The location is very close to a lot of things, with easy access to all the major Austin highways. Would enjoy staying here again.

Also, the complex is on the back side of a Walmart shopping center, so a pedestrian gate allows you to walk over to the shopping center for easy access to quick eats, shopping, services and the Chapparel Ice Skating Rink.
