There is one local company that rent boats. The lake is great for boating, swimming (there is a great sandbar area for hanging out - only accessible by boat/kayak), and fishing (especially in our bay or right off our dock, where it is shallow with greenery). Please note that there is no beachfront from which to enter the water, so you'll need to do that by boat/kayak. We are close to many family friendly and recreational activities such as petting zoos, nature areas, and golfing.

All the fun in this house
We came here with a group of friends for a weekend getaway and I'd like to say we all had an amazing time! There was non stop playing games, ping pong and pool. Although we did bring our own board games, this place provides a lot of games even if you didn't bring any. The kitchen is fully loaded so you don't have to worry about packing all the heavy pots, pans, plates, etc.The only tiny set back was there were some bugs inside the house near the basement windows. We did find some Raid in one of the closets and once we sprayed the area we were fine. We couldn't use the lake since it was still pretty cold out, but we did make use of their amazing fire pit! That was an assume night! Sarah is very friendly, responsive and very open with booking requests. She even sent it back the Rumikub that my friend left there! You seriously won't regret staying here.
A great home right on the water with plenty of room
We really enjoyed our stay with 4 generations under one roof. We fished from the dock and enjoyed running around in the backyard with our grandkids. Rain prevented us from using the firepit, but inside we were warm and entertained by the amenities. Sarah was very helpful and replied to all of our questions right away.
Great House - Great Location
If you are looking for a hidden gem, this is it. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood on a lake, but it is close to Waterford, and only 1/2 hour from Milwaukee. It's great if you want to go out, but very comfortable if you just want to stay in. The pictures do not do the house justice. It has a huge kitchen and living room, with a large game room in the basement. The den and game room have huge flat screen TVs and plenty of soft-cushioned couches for viewing or for general relaxing. The next time I visit Wisconsin, I hope the house is for rent.
Beautiful home with great areas for relaxing. We loved it. Right on the water, started each morning having tea on the patio taking in the view of the lake.
Sarah was great to work with. Very prompt in responding. Thanks for the use of your lovely home.
Centrally located to visit Lake Geneva and Milwaukee. Cute town for staying close by also.
Everything you need for fun!
This house was great! Fully stocked kitchen, seating for 10 inside and on the beautiful patio near the firepit if you prefer eating outdoors. Game room has pool, darts, pingpong, and plenty of games for all ages kids to adults. House was clean and well stocked with plenty of linens and towels. We used the kayaks on the lake, and there are also plenty of outside games for fun. Firepit was a hit every night. Our group aged from mid 50's down to 7 and the house had plenty to do for all ages. Thank you Sarah for opening your lakehouse home to our family to reconnect and make some memories!
Less than desirable stay
Sadly our recent 5 day stay at this lake home really missed the mark. Maybe our expectations were off base but I do not think it unreasonable that the home we rented be clean. The windows do not look like they have been cleaned in years. The carpets had multiple pet stains. The carpet in the master bedroom was stained with rust that appeared to leach from the HVAC wall register. The owner had very detailed rules to follow during the stay and fines that would be applied if you violated the rules, which is totally reasonable. However what is not reasonable is the fact the Gas BBQ was inoperable as there was no propane gas. I found this out as I was about to grill Friday dinner. There was a Charcoal BBQ but the rules said that was off limits to use. Needless to say the Friday night BBQ did not happen. In addition the owners of the home did not subscribe to a pest control service and thus there were bugs aplenty. I think it fair to say if would be difficult to offer up a recommendation to stay at this Lake house.
I'm sorry your stay was not up to your expectations. Upon seeing this, I have addressed all your house issues with my cleaning staff. As to the bugs, unfortunately, even with our weekly gardening crew and remediation, being on a lake in a rural area does mean they are present. I hope you did see the citronella candles and yard fogger we leave out for guest use. I'm also very sorry that there was no propane during your stay. We were unaware that all 4 tanks we provide were empty. I do wish you had contacted me prior to check out as we would have happily had someone run over a full tank. As to the charcoal grill, I will revisit my wording. Guests are more than welcome to use it, we just ask they not use our personal bags of charcoal that we keep stored on property. Again I'm very sorry that your stay was disappointing, but thank you for the feedback.
