About Anton Giovanetto
Since the age of ten when I opened my first can of chili to the present as I creates my breakfast entree's, the kitchen has always been a fun place to work or play. The simple act of preparing a meal for someone else and receiving positive feedback turns the meal into a joyful event. If I were to define the concept of hospitality, I would sum it up in one word, Pampering.

Why Anton Giovanetto chose Northside District
While the structure of Lyndon House Bed & Breakfast is historic, the interior is designed with the comfort of our 21st century guests in mind. Although most of our guest rooms have eleven-foot ceilings and elegant moldings, they are accessible by a commercial elevator - which some of our guests really appreciate. And every morning our guests awaken to the aroma of fresh coffee served with a delicious breakfast prepared by the Innkeeper. When Spring finally arrives our beautiful back porch overlooking the garden is the ideal spot for a cup of tea, a glass of wine - or a bottle of beer from one of the local craft breweries. When the garden is in bloom many of our guests just sit out there for no other reason than to relax and watch the birds.

Beautiful home in Lexington
Our group booked the whole house. We had seven ladies, all in our 50's. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. The house was very nice - lots of big rooms. We really liked the big gathering space on the first floor. It was comfortable for the 7 of us. We kept our wine and snacks in there, very convenient! Also loved the ice machine right there.
We each had our own bedroom. Two of the rooms had their bathroom down the hall, but that was fine. Might have been a little weird if we had been sharing the house with strangers. The two front bedrooms on the second floor and the room on the third floor, the ladies said it was very noisy, even with the special sound absorbing shades. Must be near a hospital because we heard sirens all the time, day and night. The rest of the rooms did not face the front and were quiet.
The breakfasts were fine, but we did not expect to be served Frittata every single day (we were there for 3 breakfasts). All of the other B&B stays we have had usually mix it up (breakfast casserole one day, waffles the next, pancakes the next, etc). Anton did mention on the first day that we could have French toast if we didn't like Frittata, but we all wanted to try the Frittata. I think changing up the menu daily would be a nice change. The side items of coffee cake, cereal, biscuits, fruit, etc were nice, but having something homemade would have been even better.
Most of the beds were comfortable and the sheets were nice. Lots of towels available, and nice touches in the room, like restaurant guides. Each room had a fridge with complimentary water, so that was very accommodating.
Some of the gals remarked about the carpeting looking a bit grungy (stains), but the overall cleanliness was good.
The location was good and close to everything (horse farm tours, distillery tours, restaurants, etc).
Extraordinary property and a true Innkeeper
We rented this property for part of our business team and held a dinner for our larger team at the property one evening. The property was everything we expected and even more.
But even more extraordinary was the true hospitality we received from the Innkeeper. He truly wanted us to enjoy his awesome home and made us feel truly at home.
I could not possibly more highly recommend this property.
