We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Treehouse. Such an unusual and beautiful home, it met all of the needs of our four generation family. The hosts gave us a tour and explained all that we needed to know about the amenities.

Chris was wonderful, meeting us in person to give us a tour and showing us things we may need to know. The house is spacious and was perfect for our group. And the game / theater room was a hit for our young adult children!

The home is beautiful with very nice artwork, there was a dog smell because of all the carpet in the home, I would suggest the owner put out air fresheners or bring your own. The driveway is steep but manageable! Over all we really enjoyed our stay!!

Perfect Thanksgiving Retreat

Everything about this property was wonderful! The home and land were stunning, plus we had everything we needed to pull off a full Thanksgiving feast. We also loved the privacy of the setting while still being only minutes from shopping and restaurants. Our stay was simply perfect.

This home was perfect for our extended family to meet and enjoy Christmas together. Our family of 5 had plenty of room together and in spectate places. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils and seasonings. Morning coffee on the deck or in the living room with its floor to ceiling windows was so peaceful. Our family enjoyed daily walks up the mountain. We had short drives to downtown Franklin and the Natchez Trace.

The host was very communicative and responded quickly. The home lived up to the photographs and was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable and water pressure was fine. The downstairs had a projector attached to the ceiling and was perfect for movie night. We also played games downstairs as well. The living room has a great western view that is perfect for sunset. The kitchen was well stocked and very roomy for cooking. It was a great stay enjoyed by all.

Hi. We are Don & Chris Wise. We have been married for 50 years and have made Middle Tennessee our home of the last 30 years. JD Wise (Don) is an artist and his works can be found throughout our home and exclusively at Nina Kuzina Gallery in Nashville. He is also a Dove-nominated producer.
Chris is a decorator, loves to sing and is mother of 3 and proud grandmother of 6.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the property because it reminded us of a year-round retreat. We have had artist, authors, editors, song writers and vacationers all spend quite a bit of time brainstorming, creating and just plain relaxing here.
There are plenty of deer grazing the property (they think it's theirs), as well as whippoorwills, squirrels, owls, and turkeys.
Our favorite thing is to sit under the bright stars at night with a glass of wine and tune into relaxing music.
We know you will enjoy the peace and quiet as much as we do!

What makes this property unique

20 minutes to Downtown Nashville, 12 minutes to Historical Downtown Franklin, 1.5 miles to the Natchez Trace bridge, and only 4 minutes from the world famous Loveless Cafe!!
