Enjoy a relaxing stay at our beach home on the plantation. The home is located on a secluded corner lot with a front and back driveway so there is plenty of room for parking. We have three bedrooms and two and one half baths. Once inside you can kick your shoes off and enjoy the large open family room with a vaulted ceiling, a beautiful screened in porch, a kids TV room, and a bright sunny eat in kitchen. You will have use of our golf cart so you can take a short drive over to the beach, enjoy a beautiful sunset at Walkers Landing or play basketball at Drummond Point. There are lots of great bike paths to explore on the plantation, you can go fishing in one of the many ponds, play golf or tennis. You can kayak with the nature center, enjoy fantastic shopping at the shops of Amelia, eat at any of the wonderful restaurants or explore historic downtown Fernandina. Come and enjoy all that Amelia Island has to offer!

Great property that was very clean and lots of room, golf cart, beach chair were a great addition
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your spacious home. The golf cart, beach chairs, beach towels, and ice chests were a great bonus. Appreciated the fans in the bedrooms. We had a bit of a problem keeping the the upstairs cool enough so we used the fans to help with the air circulation. Everything was very clean and ready for our stay when we arrived.
This house was as advertised by the pictures and reviews. Renters should pay particular attention to the cooling comments. This house has two separate thermostats, one for downstairs and one for upstairs, which is normal. What isn’t normal, and contributes to the inconsistent temps upstairs is that the thermostat for the upstairs is downstairs, somewhat near an air vent. I’m no a/c expert, but I feel that the thermostat should be moved upstairs AND a couple more air ducts should be run. The little bed at the top of the stairs was not sleepable due to the heat. Bottom line: it should be a reasonable expectation of guests to have consistent cooling in the place they rent. Upstairs was always 78-79 degrees during the day, even though the thermostat was set on 70. Enough on that point. The house has natural light through windows installed on the roof. This makes sleeping in pretty challenging during the summer, particularly if you like a dark room. Lastly, if you are over 60, I believe you will find it challenging to get into and out of the shower as it has high walls b/c it doubles as a jacuzzi tub. I’m only 45, and in good physical condition, yet I almost slipped, myself, getting out of the shower. These are minor things that could be taken care of rather easily and inexpensively. The location is good. The golf cart and bikes are a plus. The kitchen is small, but well appointed. We didn’t have any room for all of the food items we brought, as there was no pantry. My wife appreciated that the washer and dryer was in the house instead of the garage, like so many other homes in the plantation have them. Happy renting.
The site is gorgeous. The house is overpriced.
Beautiful location, relaxing vacation!
Wonderful beach vacation home. House is open with lots of natural light. Kids loved the wall decorations and the stash of board games. Less than five minutes to the beach using the golf cart. Beach was clean and not crowded. Large screened in porch was great to sit and listen to the late afternoon thunderstorm. Lots of activities on the resort property that we didn’t get to experience, but we hope to return next summer. A great place to stay for families with young kids!
Cozy, spacious, lots of amenities, and a golf cart!
The house is beautiful and spacious. It is well-furnished with everything you could need. The golf cart was a fun bonus, just make sure to charge it every night. There are 7 beds plus a sofa bed and a pullout is available. There are parts of the house that show some wear, but overall, it was a great stay.
We had a great week on Amelia Island. The location of the house was great with lots of things to do for our teenagers. The neighborhood and yard are beautiful and we especially enjoyed the screened porch! The house is very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. We would definitely visit again.
