Edward & Rebecca Russell
About Edward & Rebecca Russell
A Syracuse University professor and elementary music teacher, the Russell's have traveled the world, lived in Europe for six years and first fell in love with the Adirondacks in 1975. Their two adult daughters also love the great outdoors. We purchased the property on Thanksgiving 2005 and because of Rebecca's Norwegian heritage, the name Mange Takk just seemed perfect. This a a place of great peace and contentment for which we give "many thanks."
Edward & Rebecca Russell purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Edward & Rebecca Russell chose Long Lake
The geographic center of the six million acre Adirondack Park is right in the middle of Long Lake about a half a mile north of Camp Mange Takk. Mange Takk was a labor of love for Architect and long time friend James Copeland founder of Hudson Design in Garrison, NY. A featured property on his website and on Houzz Mange Takk sits above the lake with spectacular views from every window.
