Beautiful location, great Cabin, clean and awesome views

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay. We had 3 wonderful days in the Cabin. It was quiet, clean, and the lake view was awesome. Next time we will bring a canoe to get on the lake and fully appreciate this great spot. Place was well kept and owners were friendly and nearby if needed. We would definately come back.

Beautiful and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

It was perfect for us. Clean, well maintained, and a quiet, beautiful spot on Long Lake! Our hosts were welcoming and even though they reside on the property, we had plenty of privacy. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful lake cottage

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Honeymoon Cottage for a week and loved it! The cottage is perfectly situated on Long Lake, with wonderful views of the lake from the porch and kitchen. While the cottage is small, it has lots of Adirondack charm and is beautifully maintained. We received a very warm welcome from Richard and his daughter when we arrived, and Richard's wife Hillarie left us a nice note that included all the information we needed about the cottage and property, as well as activities in the area. We had rainy weather for much of the week, but the cottage was so cozy and comfortable that we didn't mind spending time just enjoying the view. We would definitely like to stay at the Honeymoon Cottage again in the future, though maybe earlier in the season so we can take better advantage of the dock and beach. Thanks to Richard and Hillarie for making their lovely cottage available!

A Perfect Little Cottage on the Lake!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at the Honeymoon cottage. The cottage is just the right size for a couple and it oozes old world Adirondack charm, from the wood paneling to the cozy and comfortable furnishings. The views are spectacular from just about every vantage point—from the dock and outside sitting areas when the weather permits, and from the enclosed deck and kitchen when it does not. Richard and Hillarie are wonderful hosts, ready and willing to answer any questions about the area and very responsive to any issues that may arise. At one point during our stay there was a problem with the hot water tank; not only did they get the ball rolling for an immediate fix but told us when they were coming, what was going to happen, and how long it would take. Their goal was to be accommodating and responsive, but at the same time as un-intrusive as possible. We highly recommend this beautiful little cottage, and can’t wait to return!

And that outdoor shower is just about the best thing in the whole world.
