La quintaesencia de Balboa Island 3 dormitorios, 2 baños casa de playa ubicada en el centro de la isla con igualdad de acceso a Balboa Ferry y la histórica avenida Marine. Esta casa cuenta con una sala de estar abierta y bien ventilada con techos altos y mucha luz natural.

El patio delantero es de gran tamaño y perfecto para reuniones familiares. Disfrute de una cómoda cena al aire libre con una gran mesa y sillas en el patio y una barbacoa de gas.
Al entrar, la cocina tiene mucho espacio en el mostrador para preparar alimentos y almacenamiento adicional. Hay un dormitorio principal con baño en suite, dos dormitorios con baño compartido y un sofá cama en la sala de estar para acomodar huéspedes adicionales.

Para su comodidad, hay 1 lugar de estacionamiento y una lavadora y secadora en el garaje compartido. Esta casa de playa está en una ubicación privilegiada en la isla Balboa.

Stay was good. Property was a little worn and can use some updating. Window cranks are stripped making it hard to open windows for air flow. That said, location was great and check in was easy!

The perfect family house

This place is perfect. Everything a family or even two needs. The location can not be beat!! Walk into town in three minutes. Right on the water. Will definitely come back!

Great Location

Being on Balboa is the best. Great location and walkable to all shops and restaurants on the island. House definitely needs some improvements, a little run down. Third bedroom didn’t really feel like a bedroom with how you had to access it, and the second twin bed in there is actually a trundle. We booked sort of late so I was so happy to find something for the holiday! Communication was excellent with the property manager.

Average home in a great location

We stayed a week at this home and there were some pros and cons. The pros were that it's in a great location, walkable to all the shops and restaurants. There was a great Mexican food restaurant about a 3 minute walk from us and the ferry was really close as well. The house was clean but it was pretty old and run down. The A/C barely worked so it was really warm inside in the afternoon and evening. The garage is tiny and shared with another car so it wasn't an option to park in there but there's plenty of parking in the street. And there is a third bedroom but we couldn't use it because the bed was really small and my kids were too tall. Overall the management was very nice and the house worked out but we would probably opt to rent a different house next time we come into town.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great find just a block from the ferry to the peninsula. Clean, well maintained house. King bed, queen bed, twin with a trundle, and a pull out couch in living room. The third bedroom with the trundle is only accessible by going through one of other bedrooms. Tall ceilings and good size rooms for Balboa Island homes. Kitchen is dated but functional. No A/C. Not usually needed on Balboa but worth noting. TVs are equipped with streaming access like Roku. WiFi is solid. Overall great house and definitely recommended!

Great location!

Walking distance to the ferry. Great front deck. Comfortable beds. Kitchen could use new frying pans and some additional utensils. Overall a nice functional place for our family.

This was the first time our family was able to come together from all over the country since COVID. Parking was a big challenge, but we expected that since we are from the area. We have stayed at a lot of Airbnb's and this was, by far, the least stocked in terms of kitchen supplies, cooking equipment, etc. which made for challenges. The basics were not even there (no oil, S&P, spices, etc). Additional pillows and linens would have been helpful. The directions were clear in advance about the number of towels and having to rent beach towels, chairs, etc. but for the price it would be better to include those items as most places do. The lack of them definitely contributes to satisfaction levels. The upstairs tenants are delightful and friendly! Dishwasher was leaking a bit and needs to be repaired.

Nice cozy house

Great clean house near attractions, but there is a tenant upstairs, which was not in description. Also garage has a great deal of items, so unless you have a compact car, you will not fit, therefore must park on street. Also AC not the best and does not cool the house.
