Outside of the living area the rooms were very tight and small. In master bedroom you could hardly walk around the bed. 2nd bedroom only has twin size beds. Not big enough for adults. Also not enough towels in the unit. I had to request additional bath towels. Did not notice any pool towels either. Would not stay again. Only positive is its closeness to Universal Parks.

Great Stay and So Close to Universal!

Overall, great experience with this property. The air conditioning vents pour air into the master bedroom, making one side more difficult to sleep on. I would recommend the property engineers to buy those things you can put on the vent to direct the air upwards. Also, the bathrooms were a little moldy. Overall, dated but well appointed and suited our family (of 3) for a five night stay to enjoy the parks!

if i knew this was a time share place, i never would have stayed. overall a pretty nice place and close to alot of attractions. too busy for me.

Nice place - well run.

Sort of a cross between a hotel and VRBO, has a front desk and maid service like a hotel but has a full kitchen, washing machine, and dryer... It is also a timeshare, so I had to turn down the timeshare pitch 3 times - they weren't overly pushy about it. Never did receive the welcome package email I was promised though. Rooms are small but mirrors help make it feel bigger. More than enough space for our family of 4. Overall a nice stay. Great views and minutes from Universal Studios. Walmart is a 5 to 10 minute drive and Walgreens is walkable 2 to 3 minute drive.

The property seems to have everything! Pool, bar b q geills, paddle boats, volleyball and basketball courts, hot tub, bar and grille... it was a beautiful and pleasant stay. Located just a short drive to many restaurants and shopping (in addition to universal and sea world). Loved the daily housekeeping service, with fresh towels, etc. it is a perfect combination between condo and hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Good Value and location

The property and rooms were exactly as described. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Orlando area with kids and family. Pros: Value, location, staff, Cons: beds are not comfortable (hard with scratchy sheets) and the rooms are bright at night due to the lack of the shades ability to block light. Big Picture: We would stay again

Close to universal studios which was our goal for this trip. Wonderful restaurants nearby. Highly recommend Cooper's hawk for dinner and kekes for breakfast!

Overrated Accomodations

I travel quite often with my family of four. We have stayed at several Westgate locations in the past and always had an enjoyable time. This was the exception to that rule. If you've ever stayed at Westgate Lakes resort in Orlando don't be confused this is not that location. Westgate palace is little more than a upscale hotel. The accommodation were very small with cramped tight quarters in both the bedrooms and the living room areas. The master shower you can barely turn around and the mattress was uncomfortable. There is only one small pool for all the units in both buildings to share. Poorly designed not well planned out in my opinion. The location of this resort is the best thing about it. We had a two bedroom unit which would have been enough space for two adults but definitely tight quarters for four people, despite the number of bedrooms. The kitchen had little cookware and only one rack in the oven. The staff was quite friendly and willing to help to the best of their ability. If the units had more space and they added a 2nd pool, it would be a homerun. All in all, this is a good location for visiting Universal and makes for a god home base if you will be spending most of your time in the parks.

Nice pool area-not stunning though

The room was not "stunning"- it was smaller than we normally have for a 2 bed/2 bath.Otherwise it was nice and clean. There was a couch that sat 3 - kind of weird when 4 ppl usually stay there...The TV had a horrible picture - not high def. The hotel bar had such horrible service-we were ALL commenting on it. Often taking 15 minutes to get your order taken and it wasn't even busy. The best thing I can say is the pool area is nice and spacious with lots of towels and chairs. Their activity center is good too- although they nickel and dime you to death- $2 for ping pong rental, etc... Won't stay there again.

Sketchy at best

Very disappointing stay. Building was marginal and room was not that which was pictured. Tiny place, but it was clean. Hidden "cleaning fee". This isn't someone's unit, but a timeshare and they stick you wherever they have room. Avoid.
