Great place to escape for the weekend

Room was really nice, spacious and clean. Located inside the winery so you can walk to the tasting room. The pizza at the winery is great and they have live music on the weekends. Found a couple of nice places to have breakfast near.

Villa was okay, the property was awesome

The bed was very comfortable. I also enjoyed walking the grounds and visiting the critters. The turkeys were especially enjoyable to watch! I would certainly stay here again, but I would probably pick a different villa, perhaps something a little larger if we were staying more than one night.

Peaceful Getaway near the city

Overall my stay was absolutely tranquil. The property looks exactly like the photos. I was the only person on this large property so it was a bit scary at first but once I got over the fear I was able to relax. I was unaware that it was a winery that is closed on Monday thru Wednesday which was my entire stay. Nonetheless I had a wonderful stay and plan on taking the trip to the winery on a weekend for the full experience.

3rd stay at the vineyard

The property is beautiful, the manager Jeff is always prompt and responsive. I enjoy staying here and I highly recommend staying here. This is my 3rd stay at the property. We were in Villa #2 and found the lighting to be lacking. It was dark in the room when we checked in later in the evening. The room was smaller than we had anticipated. It was a challenge to have to put the cpap on the floor, due to no side table. I will definitely stay here again, but will just pick a different villa.

Winery stop over

I'll give 5 stars because the property doesn't really deserve to be dinged, but a couple of things were less than ideal. This unit did not have much privacy between the bathroom and the rest of the unit. It was open, with just a divider wall behind the bed separating the bathroom from the rest of the unit. And there was no door for the toilet, just a shower curtain. So, if you're not REAL close to the person you are staying with, not ideal... The room was very clean and everything worked well. Nice grounds.

The “Studio Villa” was nice but not great. I wouldn’t rent Villa # 2 again. My Family was next door in # 1 and theirs was spacious and very comfortable Pro”s: Great Shower. Great AC. Double sinks. Con’s: No door on the toilet. A curtain instead of a door and it touches you while pulled. Only 2 hangers. Bed is too soft but everyone has different tastes. They say they have WiFi but it’s spotty at best.

Surprise Issues & Hiccups

Overall this was a decent place to stay. My original room had a problem with the A/C and the remote for the fan and light was missing from the room. The owner called me and moved me to another unit with working air. However, on my second night, there was no running water and when I reached out to the owner, I didn’t get a response. I ended up leaving the property a night early. There was a crew of a few men present working on the property but I was the only resident and it made me feel a bit uneasy. (Perhaps the crew shut off the water during their work? I’ll never know…) The property was nice, but the traffic to get there was significant. Overall, it was just an “ok” experience cut a night short due to no running water.

Nice little find

Enjoyed our stay at the winery. The property was very cool. Had a great time on Friday when the winery was hopping although the designated parking (marked for guest staying in the Villas) was taken when we got back to the property. Unfortunately we missed the cut off for the brickoven pizza. Our room was nice but we did have a couple of issues. 1. No shampoo/conditioner. 2. shower leaked very badly when someone took a shower. The floor was flooded and there was no bath mat. 3. There was only a curtain for privacy for the toilet and it basically sat in your lap. I would just think adding a rail on the ceiling and hanging a sliding door between the shower and the wall by the toilet would easily alleviate that issue. Check in was a bit of a confusion. We booked through VRBO but didn't get our checkin information until after the checkin time. The person at the winery didn't actually have our information other than a unit was booked on the same dates as us. But all in all we got that worked out. We sampled the wine and the charcuterie and it was wonderful. Everybody was very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

The only item I would say is to communicate how we deal with our daily trash to be emptied. I would definitely recommend to make this a place to stay and would come again!
