Lake Lewisville is wonderful right now with normal levels. Great for swimming, boating, campfires in the back yard, or just relaxing!

Vacation or temporary housing that is relaxing at its best. Fish or swim right out the back door. Great for a couple or a small family.

This house is perfect for the corporate renter who doesn't want to stay in a hotel during their stay. 5 minutes to Frisco and the North Texas Tollway. Small families in transition or wanting just a few days to a week getaway from city, but still be close to the city.

The area of the lake behind the house is great for swimming, boating, fishing or just sitting back and relaxing while enjoying your favorite beverage. The sunsets from the back deck are amazing.

The house features windows all across the back of the house which give you a full 270 degree view of the sunsets over the water and walk to the lake.

Beautiful spring and summer sunsets from the deck, screened porch, living room and kitchen. Deck overlooks lake, burn pit and picnic area where you can cook hot dogs and smores over an open burn pit. Enjoy beautiful days and evenings with family and friends.

Please do not expect a luxurious stay, as the cabin is an older structure and somewhat rustic. Our happiest guests have been those who value comfort with a prime location on beautiful waterfront rich with nature and appreciation for outdoors, yet right down the street from major city. They also have been grateful that we live down the street, and try to be helpful, caring for the experience our guests have.

We are located 7 minutes from the Pizza Hut Park on the Frisco side of Lake Lewisville. It can't be beat! A perfect place to stay when visiting the area for a vacation or wanting a staycation. The house has 1 queen bed in the bedroom and a full size sleeper sofa in the living room.

No dates are reserved without a signed rental agreement and security deposit.

Summer vacation

  • 1 of 5

I would not recommend this rental! This rental says it sleeps 4 however when we arrived all there was for our 2 daughters to sleep on was one couch that was not a fold out and a 3/4 inch mattress topper for the floor. There wasn't a fold out couch at all. What is pictured on the site is not what the house is furnished with. The bugs were terrible in the house due to the front door not being sealed properly. The house is equipped with window air units that worked well but were loud. There were no curtains on the back side of the house facing the lake so there was no privacy on the lake side of the house at all. Overall we were very disappointed in this rental. We never saw the owner while there so these issues were not addressed with them. The positive was that the house did have a beautiful view of the lake.

Owner's Response: I am so sorry to hear of your disappointment. We certainly value all reviews and take all comments seriously. We live down the street and post our numbers for anyone who has questions or needs, such as not knowing how to fold out the couch. True to our description there is a fold out couch, but it does not actually fold out per se. You have to pull it out from the bottom and lift it up and it becomes a quite comfortable full sized bed. Thank you again for the input and I will display instructions for guests so there won't be any problems with that in the future. The 3/4" topper that is provided is to go on top of the full sized couch/bed for extra comfort. We are happy to answer such questions and do apologize, hoping for people to feel free to ask. You are correct that the chair in the picture is not there and needs to be replaced. The pictures are accurate outside of that, but thanks for pointing that out. The house is not advertised to have central heat/AC and as true to most new window units they are a bit more noisy than central AC. I am glad that they kept you cool. I will also take note about curtains for the back sliding glass door and window that go out to the Lakeside of the house. When decorating, I thought that curtains might take away from the beautiful view of sunsets over the water. Most our guests are here for that reason, but you make a good point for us to consider. Thank you for pointing out the crack in door insulation. Though we do not have bug problems in that cabin, the insulation was an area that needed attention. We would like it to be known by anyone coming that we have cute, imperfect, older cabins on awesome nature filled waterfront, right down the road from a nice city that has everything. If new structures or luxury are priority over a Lake Cabin, someone could be disappointed. Most our guests love its unique qualities, but its not for everyone. Our priority is to represent properly. We do try to meet all of our guests personally, but it is not always 100% possible due to schedules. However, we do provide our phone numbers in case there are any issues and are available virtually 24 hours a day. We would have been more than happy to address any issue that you might have had during the time of visit. Again, I thank you for you comments.

Nice lake cottage!

  • 4 of 5

Had a nice 2 week stay while our home was being remodeled in FT Worth, close to everything the area has to offer, yet a secluded, quiet and rustic little lake cottage. Lots of walking trails, great sunsets and fishing! Would recommend for a great lake escape.

Clean and Quaint

  • 4 of 5

Four ladies for the weekend. Plenty of space even with just 1 bath. Beautiful view. We enjoyed the fire pit area. While there is a washer and dryer, I would suggest bringing towels. We never found potholders or dishtowels so maybe bring those if cooking. Loved the dbl oven! Everything is close by, shopping, dining etc...but still has a lake house country feel. The owners are great and live next door. Would stay here again.

Very pleased

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I spent our anniversary here and couldn't have picked a more cozy, relaxing place! The pictures were spot on. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The boat ramp is a little ways from the cove, and the low water levels made it quite an adventure, but not impossible:) We had a wonderful time and would definately go back!

Happy Plano guests

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for somewhere close to home to get away with our family. We were very happy with our choice. They were so accommodating and helpful. The place was clean an neat- (very important to me). It was great to have everything available on site- out children were able to enjoy the very quiet and private spot on the lake, kayaks and canoes and the pontoon we rented. It was a perfect getaway.
