Great property, amazing sunrise, kitchen is spectacular. This was one of the best family vacations that we have ever had and the comfortability and amenities of this property had alot to do with it. Can't recommend this property and host enough.
The house is stocked with majority everything you could need and very clean. Close enough to restaurants and shops but far enough away to have peace and quiet. Lots of fishing and catching crabs at the house. Beautiful sunrise views.
The house had absolutely everything you could think of to make the week enjoyable. The house was super clean and the location was amazing! It was very dog friendly! Definitely would like to go back again!

Thanks Alex and family. We loved sharing our little slice of fun and beauty with you and your guests. We look forward to hosting you again. Take care.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Blue Seahorse Cottage. The house is beautiful and well stocked. We felt right at home. It has been the most relaxing vacation we’ve ever taken.
This is our 3rd year staying here. We always have the best time hanging out on the beach and fishing. Everything was thought of and we always have a comfortable stay! Can’t wait to go back next year!
This is my second time at this property. The house is so spacious and well stocked. We love that we could bring our dog with is too. We really enjoyed the deck and our daily beach walks.
We vacationed with adult children and this house was perfect for 6 people. Kitchen fully stocked, very clean and rigjt on a private beach. We loved the kayaks and we spent many hours on ocean sighting jellyfish and dolphins. Lots of marine life to observe. Very quiet area and very peaceful
We loved our vacation, and everything was perfect. The house looks like it is straight out of a movie. All the locals were so nice and made us feel right at home. I hope to get back there soon.
We had a great time in Carabelle. This property had everything we needed and then some - everything was labeled, well furnished, and well stocked with things needed to really enjoy a stay at the beach. The local grocery stores were fine for us, and the locals were nice and accommodating.
The fishing was a highlight of the trip - and there is so much wildlife in the area.
We really enjoyed our time here.
We have been coming to the Forgotten coast now for 4 years. We love staying here because of the quite location and the added Benefits that the Host provides. We love the beach and the 3 Kayaks.
Thanks for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home in Carrabelle, FL. We had a great time, enjoyed walking on the beach and all the amenities your home offers. Christina was very friendly and accommodating. My wife, adult children and I would all rate this a 5star rental experience and would recommend your home to anyone. We would definitely come back.
A comfortable and welcoming home in a quiet spot. One of the most well-appointed kitchens and variety of amenities for use in the home of any place we've stayed. We enjoyed sunrises and daily walks on the beach, and there's some nice excursions to head to for a few hours if you're wanting. We had a relaxing, lowkey time and really liked the house and location.
We loved staying at the Blue Seahorse! This was the most organized rental we have ever visited. Everything is labeled and anything we needed was there! We loved all the small touches, like snack/sandwich containers for toddlers, high chair, beach toys, etc. loved kayaking in the bay and getting to enjoy the wildlife! Also, quick trips to surrounding towns. Such a cozy, clean, well thought out rental! The couple and their dog in the first floor apartment were very nice and we enjoyed their recommendations!
We have been going to this property for the past 4 years! We love the location and the beach access. Great fishing spot. They always provide more than what you need at this rental. My kids love the tray of snacks that's on the counter! It's just a cozy spot. The couple that lives downstairs is always so helpful, but they give you your space. Barely can tell they are there. Can't wait to go back!
Much larger than I thought! It was very well stocked! Of all the houses we've been in it been the best stocked. We really didn't have wifi most the time but it sounded like several in the area might have had problems. Only thing to take note of is there really isn't a beach, the last step to the beach from the wooden steps is huge making it impossible for older people with walking issues or really small kids to get up. Also seaweed is very high quantity and you will have to walk through it. All didn't change our experience.
We enjoyed our visit to Bonnie’s property The Blue Seahorse in Carrabelle, FL. The property had everything you needed, fully equipped & made us feel right at home.
The beach was amazing & we even seen dolphins & the sunrise was like no other.
We drove to the town of Appalachicola & ate & walked around the town, which was very nice,
We took our 2 dogs Kara & Luna & they enjoyed the beach & water. There were supplies stocked in the house for them which was very nice.
Thank you for sharing your home. We greatly enjoyed. ☀️🌊🏖️
The Blue Seahorse was the perfect landing point for my family's spring vacation. The living space is huge. The photos in the listing can't capture it adequately. Comfy seating, and lots of it. The kitchen has anything you might need. Beds were comfy. The home is decorated with so many cool things, I was still noticing new details on the last day of our stay. The outside space is an even bigger star. There is virtually no other beach traffic, with the exception of a neighbor walking their dog. The water is just steps away. Low tide was our favorite time, when we waded out to explore sand bars and pools teaming with hermit crabs and snails. No one wanted to leave when our time was up. Our host Bonnie was so thoughtful, and is in our top 3 hosts of all times.
This is a beautiful, comfortable beach house. It is RIGHT on the water. We sat out all day with our feet in the water and didn't have to tote much to the beach because it was a quick trip inside with a convenient outdoor shower to rinse our feet off on the way in. The sandbars that reveal themselves at lowtide were their own special new places we could explore each day. We saw that the last tenants had had dinner on them and wished we'd thought of that. Next time! There will definitely be a next time at this place. The owner is so thoughtful- everything you could want. We had a running joke of trying to think of something we needed that wasn't provided for us. (OK- it ended up being an ice cream scoop.) And it's all labeled. We loved our stay. We look forward to visiting again.

Roxanne and her family were amazing. Could barely tell they had been there. Courteous, easy to communicate with, and very respectful of the house. I would definitely recommend her to any and all Homeaway hosts and she's welcome back anytime. Hopefully they enjoyed The Forgotten Coast as much as we do.
Thanks for the heads up on the ice cream scoop! ;) We love the challenge and always appreciate any suggestions for improvement. We want all guests to feel like they are at home and have absolutely everything they need. Hopefully uou made many fantastic memories. THANK-YOU.
The beach view and beach were wonderful! There was lots of fun stuff to use for the beach. The house was clean and very well stocked. There was lots of towels to use and any kitchen equipment and utensils you could think of. The only complaint was the water pressure in the master bath was pretty weak but manageable.
