About Marjory Bartee
We feel very fortunate to be able to live in one of the most beautiful and unique spots on the North Olympic Peninsula and to be able to share it with travelers seeking to experience the beauty and wonders of this special area. We are located on several acres of land, partially farmland, partially woodland on the high bank waterfront bluff along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Our views are of the majestic Olympic mountain range to the south and of Vancouver Island, B.C. to the north. Having a wooded creek as our eastern boundary, we are able to provide the unique access pathway to the beach below. All of our several vacation rental homes enjoy the use of this same five minute hiking trail which is the most treasured feature of our properties. Wildlife abounds in this natural habitat where deer, eagles, river otter, seals and more are seen as an every day occurrence. We work daily at our other businesses where we sell home improvement products such as appliances, flooring, cabinets etc. We strive to have all of our vacation homes reflect our enthusiasm for inviting, quality interiors so that our guests feel truly welcome and at home while they stay in our homes.
Why Marjory Bartee chose Port Angeles
We have lived on this acreage for many, many years and have gradually developed several vacation rentals on it over the past few years. We love this beautiful land and try to keep it looking it's best for everyone who comes to visit so that they will enjoy it as much as we do.
What makes this Mobile Home unique
This particular vacation home is the least expensive on the property, and best deal around. It is so quiet and private and when the deer stroll past the porch and nibble on the fruit trees, it is like a storybook setting. When the exquisitely beautiful peacock comes by everyone gets out their cameras!

Nicely furnished and maintained. great water view
Comfortable bed. Spare cooking supplies. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Navigation there was a bit cumbersome, since Old Olympic Hwy is still closed at the river (open again maybe by spring). Take the Barr Rd exit off 101 to get there.
Very quiet. Two eagles greeted us when we got there; seems they nest nearby.
The path down to the beach is not very good in wet weather -slick and muddy, and needs maintenance. Beach is nice, though.
A very clean and comfortable stay.
The Madrona Leaf lodge was a great central location for our Olympic Park vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our down time in the well-equipped and comfortable Lodge. We especially loved the secluded beach walks, even saw a couple of bald eagles!
Great place to stay!
Very happy about this rental! It is clean, roomy, quiet area, and near to so much.
The land where it is set has about 6 or 7 little trails with benches to sit that overlook the ocean. There is a trail that leads down to the beach. It is a 10 min walk. Lots of deer that come into the neighborhood to eat. We watched them through the kitchen and living room windows every morning.
We were in a fantastic location to explore the towns, mountains or ocean.
The owners were just amazing. Super nice and was there when we needed something done.
I have rented a whole bunch of vacation rentals in the last 20 years and this one was one of the best experiences I have had.
The place is awesome!!
Had a great stay, such a beautiful area and home is very cute/comfortable. Highly recommend, I'll be back for sure.
Location, Location, Location!
If you expect a new fancy condo, this is not the place for you. If you want a clean, quite place with great access to the beach, this is where you want to stay! It took us a few minutes to find the trail to the beach, but when we did, WOW it was amazing. It was like having your own personal 3 mile long section of beach. Each night the wind kicks up and the tide comes in making for a great show with the waves breaking.
Clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Loved the trail to the beach.
The Madrona Leaf Lodge is between Sequim and Port Angeles, a few minutes by car to either town, yet is in a secluded location with a backdrop of towering evergreen trees where eagles nest, above the private beach where seals and seabirds are spotted as the waves crash ashore. It is less than two miles away from the paved Olympic Discovery Trail, the perfect trail for pedestrians, cyclists or equestrians. It is also only a five minute drive from the well-stocked Agnew Grocery and Feed Store which has a large selection of wines many from our local Olympic Peninsula Wineries. Because it is so conveniently located mid way between the two towns of Sequim and Port Angeles, in an area called Agnew, it is an easy fifteen to twenty minute drive in either direction to the restaurants and shops and activities that both towns have to offer. The world famous Dungeness Spit, the longest spit in the world, is only minutes away by car or can be hiked to along the shore for those who enjoy hiking and beachcombing along the unpopulated, rugged beach. Be sure to plan your beach walks accordingly, however, as high tide can be treacherous if you are not prepared. (tide tables are listed in the local phone book)
