A very warm welcome

We spent an extremely relaxing at the property. Michela and family were very welcoming and on a couple of evenings cooked fantastic tasty food downstairs that the kids loved just as much as we did. The boys have very happy memories of chasing the fireflies in the garden at night. The views from the property are fantastic. We would definitely go back

Relaxing stay

The house is located in a picturesque valley with stunning views. The property is shared with the owners who live below in a separate flat. The bedrooms are all ensuite and extremely comfortable. The pool area is nice with an amazing border collie as a lifeguard. Michela cooked some fantastic Italian food and made us feel very welcome, her English is excellent. Local restaurants were exceptional, beach 35 mins away and fantastic lake 30 mins away. Thoroughly recommend the property, you do need to like dogs as the owners have 2 adorable dogs who are very child friendly. A glimpse of the real Italy !

Negatief - De site / advertentie geeft niet duidelijk genoeg aan dat de benedenverdieping wordt bewoond door de eigenaar / familie daarvan. Dit heeft voor ons grote gevolgen gehad voor een rustige beleving! Ten eerste vanwege 2 aanwezige honden waarvan eentje losloopt en de andere ‘s nachts vaak lang blaft. Maar erger nog was het zoontje van 16 die met zijn crossmotor en zijn crossmotorvriendjes om het huis heen crosst en dat maakte ontzettend veel herrie. In de twee weken dat we er waren is dit zo’n drie keer gebeurd. Toen we zeiden dat onze jongste van 2 jaar net lag te slapen, gingen ze gewoon door. - Mocht het een keer slecht weer zijn, dan is er geen prettig meubilair om op te zitten (geen fatsoenlijke bank) - ontvangst was niet zoals aangegeven in de advertentie: geen welkomstdrankje of een fles van de lokale wijjn oid. Geen probleem, maar vermeld het dan ook niet - Het huis is op de bovenverdieping, dus als je lekker in de tuin wilt gaan eten, moet je wel alles naar beneden sjouwen en weer terug. Geen ramp, maar handig om te weten van te voren. (Wij hadden toevallig een vouwkrat, maar zonder wordt het lastig) Positief - Het huis ligt prachtig op een heuvel, omringd door heel veel groen. Het is erg ruimtelijk. - Je kunt in de tuin op de picknickbanken heerlijk eten in de schaduw van de boom. (De vrijlopende hond krijg je er gratis bij maar hij bedelt niet.. gaat lekker bij je voeten liggen op zoek naar gevallen eten) - Het huis is goed uitgerust en heeft sfeervolle kamers. Elke kamer heeft een eigen douche en toilet. (Bedden zijn “ok”) - Je kunt het water gewoon drinken, dus geen gesjouw met flessen - Het zwembad is heerlijk en er zit voldoende ruimte omheen

Enjoyed our stay with two families of four

We stayed at Michela's place for a week with two families of four, inc. 2 toddlers. We absolutely loved the place, and Michela and her diligent son took great care of us. We enjoyed a great dinner with the family, with our kids still claiming the granma's lasagna as the best dish they had during the entire holiday! ;) Thanks again, hope to see you next time! Recommended!

Fantastic rustic holiday house

We stayed here in August and absolutely loved it! It is charming and rustic house with a wonderful, clean swimming pool. The local area is stunning 30mins from the mountains and 30mins from the beach! The owners we very welcoming and happy to help in any way they could.

Il paradiso a portata di mano:

Michela, Massimo e Filippo vi accoglieranno con la loro simpatia facendovi sentire parte della famiglia.Le camere sono confortevoli ed arredate con gusto. Dal casale il panorama è fantastico! Gli amanti dell'archeologia e dell'architettura potranno visitare il sito della città romana di Urbis Salvia e l'abbadia cistercense di Fiastra da cui partono numerosi percorsi percorribili a piedi , in bicicletta e a cavallo.Per gli appassionati di escursioni è possibile andare al lago di Fiastra e raggiungere à piedi le Lame Rosse ed altri percorsi che vi condurranno in luoghi fantastici. Lungo le gole del Fiastrone in estate è possibile camminare sul letto del fiume apprezzando così questi luoghi da punti di vista unici, inusuali. Infine una volta rientrati al casale potrete rilassarvi in piscina godendo dei fantastici tramonti in attesa di degustare le deliziose specialità della cucina marchigiana. Ritornerò volentieri e lo consiglio vivamente !!!

Great place to taste real Italy :)

It was a fantastic stay. We have spent 11 days in Casale di Aurora and loved it. The house is located in a quiet village with great view. The pool is perfect to relax. The house is also a perfect spot for sight seeing, neerby from Fiastra lakes, Assisi, Perugia, Ascoli Piceno, and mny more. Not to mention beautiful beaches of San Benedetto and Sirolo. The hosts cuisine is just outstanding :) All made of their own crops. We loved it and will definitelly recommend.

Perfect holiday for a family

We arrived in Italy in torrential rain with 3 restless, arguing boys (7,8 and 13), a little surprised that our week of guaranteed sunshine was not in evidence! The weather didn't really live up to our expectations but everything else about this property and the holiday exceeded them. Michela and Massimo are charming hosts, their dogs and son were charming friends for our boys and the house was lovely. The bedrooms and en suite bathrooms were smart, spotless and decorated with care and attention to detail. The kitchen was perfect for us, functional and well equipped. The living area was comfy and in the unseasonable cold weather, the heater worked nicely! Massimo brought up a DVD player for our boys in the evenings when it was too wet to stay out by the pool and we played endless games around the kitchen table! The weather did not stop us enjoying the lovely pool and we managed to eat on the lovely veranda! Nearby are some fantastic local eateries, basic but good food and perfect for families. We did some day tips to the beach at Sirolo which was our favourite. The restaurant on the beach was lovely for fish and seafood and the children played on the sandy beach whist we enjoyed a long lunch. We loved this holiday, weather aside and we are about to email Michela to book again this year!

Excellent !

We had a wonderful holiday with lots of privacy. Very nice house, clean and well maintained. The (fenced) swimming pool was also fantastic especially for ours kids (one of 4 years old and one of 11 years old). The environment was amazing. Michela and Massimo (Owners) are very nice,friendly and helpful people with very good tips regarding nice sights, beaches and good restaurants. I certainly recommend this property to friends or relatives.

I'm living in Colmurano with my son 19th years old . Before getting married I 've studied languages at high school and i've lived 6 months in London because I love travel and meet people with different cultures .When I arrived the first time in Colmurano I felt peace and tranquillity inside me. The town of Colmurano is old and very small, but really nice and I really would like to suggest to everybody living in big city to visit it. It is good for the health, because everybody here is calm and they do not feel the stress of the busy and crowded city. All around is nature, and the only sound you can hear is the birds' chirping,. Il casale di aurora ( my house)is all of this, nature and animals with our 2 fantastic and very friendly dogs Rolli and Oscar.

Before I lived with my husband's family always in Colmurano, but I and my husband wanted something only ours, so we decided to buy this land with an old had to rebuild all the house, we could only salvage stones and old bricks from the old structure and we started to re-make it from the beginning by ourselves, working hard without stopping for 2 years.
But now we are really happy and proud of our country house, where you can find your privacy in the middle of the nature, near olives trees and vineyards.
But it is also of easy access, only 3 mins driving from the town of Colmurano or 15 mins walking, 20 mins driving from the Sibillini national Park and 30 mins to the coast .It is really located in a good position.During the spring colored flowers are all around in the garden.

Il casale di aurora country house, with its position offers a lot to us and to our guests.Peace and tranquillity out of crowded and noisy city,where relaxing under the sun and in our large pool. No industries near the village but many many trees, so you will have no pollution and good air to breathe. Lots of sports to do and "dolce vita" in this corner of the earth. For those who love peace, tranquility, nature, animals but also to enjoy, this is the right place. For those who love the Typical Italian coooking, there are many typical restaurants next to us and many wine cellars.
