Escape to this beach decorated cottage right on beautiful Crooked Lake. The interior provides a relaxing environment as stained wooden beams highlight the ceiling and wood looking tile covers the floor. New appliances in the kitchen provide for stress free entertaining and the dining area sits 6 with two bar stools at the peninsula. The couch in the living room pulls out to a double bed which sleeps two. The deck looking out onto beautiful Crooked Lake, provides a sitting area with outside chairs available to enjoy the view. A gas grill, outside table and 6 chairs make for a lovely outside dining experience in the summer. Enjoy the firepit and smores while watching the sunset in the evening. A private dock allows for easy lake access. For additional costs, kayaks, a floating mat, and a dock slide are available. If interested, inquire while booking.

the location was perfect and the view was spectacular

It is right on the water, every night I had an excellent sunset to enjoy. The place was decorated very nicely and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.

This property is amazing, right on the lake with amazing views. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The hosts made it easy to check in and out. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a place on the lake. If you enjoy fishing I was able to go out on the lake one morning and caught about 20 blue gills with a family friend. 10 out of 10 property if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. I even got to see a bald eagles nest in the trees.

House was clean, comfortable, and everything was as shown in pictures. Amy was responsive with answering any questions/concerns I had during my stay. I did see another review concerning water temp in the showers but that was not a concern during my stay.. hot/cold both worked as expected. Great centralized location. Overall everything was great- I enjoyed my stay and will be booking again next time I’m in the area.

We had the best week on Crooked Lake! The house was so clean, cozy, and comfortable for our family of 5. We loved being so close to many adventures and towns to explore, but nothing beat coming back to playing in the clear lake followed by the incredible sunset while sitting on the deck or by the fire each night. We did rent a boat and explore into Pickerel and Burt Lakes - highly recommend! We've been staying in various places in Northern Michigan for the last 8 years and this was definitely a favorite. We'd definitely be back!

Lovely home on Crooked Lake! We enjoyed watching the birds (swans, loons, herons, cranes) and the sunsets each night. The house was clean and conveniently located to Petoskey. The kitchen was pretty sparse and we had to buy some essentials for cooking (sugar, foil, etc). Despite not having AC, there were plenty of fans provided that helped the house cool down at night.

Quick Memorial Day Weekend Stay

We had the most relaxing weekend away. The owners of the property were so kind and accommodating. They went above and beyond. The lake is so peaceful. My kids had tons of fun fishing. I highly recommend this stay. We will be back again.

Great stay!

Clean and cute home. Comfortable beds. Peaceful setting. Just some things to note...you cant really play in the water as its shallow for quite a ways out, weedy and mucky. Have to be careful bringing the boat to the dock as its shallow, grassy and lots of logs to watch out for. It is still a beautiful view and nice peaceful setting and view. No AC in the home but they have a few fans to place where you want them. Water temp in the bathroom is very tricky. Either scalding hot or cold so you have to play with it a bit. We enjoyed our stay. The communication was great.

Stunning Sunsets

Absolutely wonderful week !!! Amy and John were fantastic hosts and responded quickly to enquiries. Cottage was immaculate. There is lovely breeze off the water and the cottage stayed comfortable and even cool. We rented the kayaks and paddled out on crooked lake and enjoyed watching the swans. The owners have spent years dumping sand at the lake front so the ground wasn’t mucking but Sandy off the ladders from the private dock. The property front got sun for 80% of the day !! A definite advantage. Centrally located and close to grocery stores, farmers markets and downtown Petoskey, Harbor Springs ! Nice treat - the beds were very comfortable and the sheets - super soft. Nice treat ! Would definitely recommend !

Cabin was nice and as expected. Only issues we had was that the Sliding Glass Window was dirty and spider webs were in the corners. The Patio Umbrella was not on site like in the Pics. The Hosts were easy to deal with. We will stay here again.

Beautiful Property!

We had a wonderful week at this cottage. We rented the cottage right beside it as well for our whole family. Cottages are clean, nicely decorated, furnished, and close to anything you could need or want. We docked 2 boats- plenty of space for that. We rented owner's kayaks and paddle board. Kids loved them. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone else. Thanks for a great week!

Great lakeside location close to Petoskey

We loved the place. Great communication with the owner. We rented the kayak and had several nice trips on the lake. Didn’t use the fire pit due to rain but nicely setup for it. Kitchen was stocked for basic cooking needs but plenty of plates, cups, etc. The nonstick pots and pans are pretty worn and could be replaced. Chairs in living space could benefit from new covers and the sleeper sofa mattress a bit thin for an adult to sleep on. No dishwasher or soap (as listed correctly) but plenty of towels to dry dishes and stores a short drive away. Great washer and dryer. Also, only a short distance to Oden Island nature preserve and petoskey area sights. Would recommend to others.

Labor Day Weekend

Fantastic experience. Peaceful, quiet even on a holiday weekend. Close enough to town but far enough away. Owners were super friendly and quick to respond to any of our needs and questions.
