Amazing location! Easy to walk to everything we wanted to see around the city. The apartment was clean and well stocked. The parking space for the apartment was a 15 min walk away and we were able to drop our luggage off before we parked.

What a great location! Stairs are a bit tough but the location makes up for it. Washer was handy and everything was so close, hop on hop off, castle and museum's handy

Clean, well equipped kitchen. Easy to find the apartment, directions were very simple. Stairs were no problem, well lit and wide enough when carrying luggage. Lovely to sit on the window seats and people warch on the Royal Mile! As other reviews have stated, the WiFi doesn’t reach the back bedroom (king bed). Also, we ended up having to work some each day and the overall WiFi speed was less than 5 mbps up / 1 mbps down so when two of us tried to work and have teams calls at the same time, we had some issues, and video calls were definitely out. Would definitely stay here again if we didn’t need to work!

Location was great. We were not able to pull up to the loft to unload because it’s on a pedestrian-only section of the street so it’s blocked off. Master bed is hard as a 2x4. But otherwise was a super pleasant stay. Kitchen was well equipped. The window seats were my favorite to sit in each night and watch people below.

The flat on Lawnmarket was excellent for a small family, with a great view and incredible location in Old Town. The property manager was very clear and communicative before the stay. We'd certainly stay there again!

Best views of Old Town Edinburgh

Spacious rooms, great window seats to take in the sights & people on the streets below. Well equipped for all of our needs. The owner was very nice, gracious & quick to respond to our questions while planning the trip & arriving. We greatly appreciated that. The views of the St Giles Cathedral while at the window seats, is a memory we will carry with us forever & just amazing at night. Perfect location for walking everywhere & bus stops, pubs, eateries, shops, all close by. We hope to return one day.

Right on the Royal Mile!

We loved this place! It was so fun to look out our window and watch the buskers and hear the Tattoo. It was great to walk downstairs and see the mile in the AM and PM when most of the tourists had left. That said, it was crowded and loud right outside during the day. We had windows open because of the summer heat and the noise at night wasn't bad or constant, but did wake us up occasionally. Space was great, host was great, location was perfect if you want to be right in the mix of central Edinburgh!

This flat was spectacular! The location was phenomenal, in the heart of old town. Flat was well stocked, extremely clean, Derek and his team had thought of everything. There were a lot of resources and ideas for places to eat and things to do in the city. I cannot recommend this place enough to those who want to be in the middle of it all within walking distance of all the main tourist attractions.

Right in the Heart of The Royal Mile

This apartment is in a perfect location. It’s not far from the train station and it’s in the middle of everything you want to see while in Edinburgh.We are two 65 couples traveling around Scotland for two weeks. Derek’s flat had everything we needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Right on the Royal Mile! About a block away from Edinburgh Castle, made our walking easy even in the rain. Lots of touristy shopping right out the door. Fun bar on the corner with live music on Monday night.Would stay here again.

Loved the flat! Fully appointed, spacious, and clean. Fantastic location. General night street noise and early morning garbage pickup and road construction left too few hours for solid sleep. Hopefully the street work will be done soon as this is a great location. Highly recommend

Royal Mile

The property was right in the middle of everything…shops, pubs, restaurants, Edinburgh Castle, churches. We walked everywhere. It was a little noisy until midnight if the windows were open, but not overwhelming. The beds were comfy, hot water for the shower was plentiful, milk in the fridge for tea/coffee, and plenty of tea, coffee, sugar for our stay. A comfortable stay for four adults.

Perfect location!

Location is on the Royal Mile. Easy walk from bus station and all areas in center of the city. The flat was a great size for our family of four, including two teenagers. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, but with some inconveniences

Booking this place would first be due to it’s location.Included nice little touches by the owners (cookies, tea, coffee).Bed comfort is OK, but beware of the sharp wood corners.Wifi does not reach the far end bedroom.Bathroom is functional but quite cramped.It is located next to a popular bar, so know that it will be a loud street late in the evening on Friday and Saturday.
