Proteus es una villa bien equipada de tres dormitorios y dos baños con conexión a internet de 20 mbps y WiFi, excelentes instalaciones y piscina privada. El pueblo de Pissouri ofrece fantásticas vistas de la costa sur de Chipre y las montañas de Troodos y está bien ubicado para jugar al golf, a la playa y para hacer turismo. El pueblo es animado por las noches y ha mantenido su carácter chipriota. Proteus está a diez minutos a pie del centro del pueblo y su plaza pavimentada. Great villa

Lovely villa in a great location, easy to walk into the village for some nice restaurants, great steakhouse just 5 minute walk away. Dave the property manager is lovely and full of information, would stay again

Fantastic Holiday

We had a great holiday in this fantastic villa. It has everything you could ever want and is in a lovely location just a short walk from the village centre. John was a great host and we particularly appreciated the food pack left for us. Dave was very helpful and gave us some great tips. We hope to visit again.

Fabulous home from home!

Really nice villa. All mod cons, plenty of cookware, close to all amenities! Decent size pool, bbq and plenty of loungers... What more do you need! Dave the property manager was excellent gave some great advice and recommendations, as was the owner John. Spacious, nicely decorated and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Pissouri Villa

A great property just on the outskirts of the village. Amazing views and the property is much larger than the pictures show. Everything you can need is provided and excellent communication from the owner. Dave is on hand to offer advice on what not to miss in the village with some excellent recommendations on where to eat.

Pissouri adventure The perfect base to explore the real Cypriot way of life..

The villa had everything we needed and is in very good condition. Peaceful area, but you do need a car. John Kelly and Dave were very informative and ready to help us when needed. We would not hesitate in recommending this property. Easter in Pissouri Square was a unexpected bonus.

On arrival found stocked with essential supplies, lovely spacious lounge, well equipped kitchen, bedrooms and beds really comfortable, nice pool with ample sunbeds. Dave the caretaker really nice chap, nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be back. Love Pissouri sunbeds. Only area

We have just spent a fabulous 2 weeks at the property. It has everything you could need for your stay. We were in the pool every day and the pool towels were a bonus.The manager, Dave, was so knowledgeable, giving us tips on the best places to go shopping and to eat. The owner, John, was really helpful and instructions were clear. We were lucky enough to meet John and his family last year when we were in the area and he showed us around the property which was great. To get to the supermarket you do need a car but it is possible to walk to restaurants and a small shop in the square. All in all a great holiday, one we would like to repeat in the future.

Great villa

The villa was everything we needed. Enough space so we weren't all sitting on top of each other. Pool was fantastic with plenty outside space. Car port was handy to keep the sun off the car. Aircon was very welcome. The villa is located well with only a 20/25 minute drive from Paphos airport. It really was a lovely villa and we wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Lovely location

Pissouri is beautiful and the house is in a great location for exploring. The instructions on how to get there were spot on ( we arrived late ) and the welcome food/drink was much appreciated. From a size point of view it was spot on for us , but would say that the fold up beds should may be taken out of the smaller bedrooms if not being used. The pool area was lovely . We didn’t use the BBQ and that could have done with a good clean . The kitchen was well stocked and the cool boxes were well appreciated. On the whole , the house was very clean - the bathroom storage cupboards do need to be de-cluttered of the previous guests’ toiletries though. Dave was great and recommended a few places to eat and places to visit- The Two Friends restaurant in the village was lovely!

Ein haus zum Wohlfühlen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sauber znd ordentlich und hat alles, was man braucht. Der Pool bietet eine tolle Erfrischung und wurde von uns ausgiebig genutzt. Dave war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und war immer sofort zur Stelle. John reagierte stets umgehend auf unsere Fragen. Wir empfehlen das Haus gern weiter. Vielen Dank an John und Dave, wir kommen gern wieder.

The villa should be described as a 3 bed townhouse, not a villa, in need of an update and some TLC

The photos are misleading and don’t show pics of the exterior, the only reason I can think, is because the home is described as a villa, which hints of detached, but is infact a terrace or townhouse. The property is attached to its neighbours and therefore the pool area is overlooked. There is no mention of the home backing onto a small holding with poultry and there being a daily early morning alarm call from their cockerel. My husband was woken every morning no later than 6am, not a holiday requirement. The photos don’t show the homes bathrooms and I can only guess this is due to them being like the rest of the property, in need of either maintenance or modernisation. The property needs painting inside and out, it’s gardens need care, due to a lot of the plants being dead in pots, woodwork outside has flaking paint and the barbecue needs a good clean. The walls inside are scuffed, some need painting and there were cobwebs on some of the ceiling corners, the property feels uncared for, other properties we have rented over the years have felt like home from home but this felt a little soulless. It is well appointed with equipment but speaking of equipment, the Air Conditioning was noisy in the main bedroom and made sleep difficult and the patio door in the lounge needs maintaining because it was so stiff I couldn’t shut it. I have said our holiday was enjoyable because it was, but this was due to the village and area the villa was situated in and not because of the villas own attributes. We both agree we will visit this area again but would not consider the same property, although it is well situated very conveniently to the village and it’s eateries etc. This home could be a great holiday home but it needs some care and attention. It is well placed in the village but the photos need to show a true representation of the property, including all the rooms and property exterior.

very peaceful and relaxing

the villa is in a lovely peaceful location and very private. It is very well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery and very comfortable, with excellent outside furniture. Jim was very nice and looked after the pool during our stay, and John the owner was very good to deal with. We didn't have any problems whilst we were there but we knew that both him and Jim would have been on hand should we have needed them. Pissouri is a lovely location there are plenty of restaurants to choose from all providing excellent meals and drinks and the supermarket is very close and convenient to get to. The village is in walking distance but was too hilly for us ( my husband is Asthmatic ) but would be no problem for a younger fitter couple, the Steak House although a little bit pricey was an ok distance for us to walk.

A property with everything we wanted, and more.Highly recommended

Better than expected. Very well equiped and furnished. Welcome pack excellent. Only downside was that the pool was too cold (March) . My 4year old grand-daughter tested the temperature every day in hope of a swim. Perhaps another time. She prefered it to her home in the UK - her bedroom had a balcony as well as a marble staircase. A real little princess. The villa is positioned above Pissouri village in a quite residential area, but within walking distance (20mins) of the main square and tavernas. The property is managed by 'Jim' for whome nothing was too much trouble, even finding a locksmith on a Sunday night after we managed to lock our selves out with the key in the lock on the inside. Would highly recommend the property to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds but doesn't want to be in the back of beyond.

Comfortable villa in a nice village

After we realised that the Olympus Palace is now called The Steak House the villa was easy to find. The village has a wide variety of restaurants within walking distance ( quite hilly though) with something to suit all tastes. The villa has a well equiped kitchen and roomy bedrooms. The double bed was comfortable but the singles were not quite as good. The pool was good and welcome on the hot days. The outdoor dining furniture would benefit from upgrading. The owner responded quickly to any queries we had. The villa was clean and in a quite location. We enjoyed our stay.

Super area to stay!!!!

Loved this villa. Just what you need daily. Great people to rent off. Milk, bread, tea, coffee when you get in off a late flight, this is a great touch. Lovely deck area to relax and most of all quiet. This was my first time to Cyprus and I was not disappointed. You have all you need in this villa whilst away from home. Lovely village area to eat with great restaurants. I loved it😇😇😇

Excellent well equipped villa,

Arrived late after delayed flight so welcome pack was much appreciated, Villa and pool were spotless , Fully equipped including cool boxes for beach, Villa has superb sunset views from the upstairs balcony, there is something better about the locally produced pork and lamb , just falls off the bone after slow cooking on the excellent Outback Gas BBQ. This is the 3rd villa we have rented in Pissouri ,and is the cleanest and best equipped , good selection of local restaurants , Supermarket with just about all you could want a couple of minutes away, A really relaxing Holiday, we will return Andy and Caroline, Plymouth .

Absolutely amazing

This villa truely is a home away from home - with the added luxury of sunshine and scenery. Perfectly clean, well looked after and very very high standard. Everything you could need is available - fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine (and all kitchen utensils) Comfy lounge area with sky tv and wireless internet. Well maintained pool with pool accessories. All beds very comfortable with beautiful clean Ben linen. Locals extremely friendly and willing to help with any advice needed. Totally relaxing and enjoyable holiday, will defiantly come again.

Fantastic Villa

Just come back from a great holiday in Pissouri Village where we had a lovely relaxing stay at Villa Proteus. The villa had everything we needed, was very comfortable and clean and a great hit with the kids who loved the swimming pool (and DVD collection). The views of the sunset from the upstairs terrace were spectacular! Would recommend this villa to anyone.

We fell in love with Pissouri on our first visit and decided this was the place for us. The children have lots to do there and the Village is safe and its people friendly.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

We love Pissouri because it is lively, with lots to do, without being too busy and it remains a traditional Cypriot Village! There aren't any timeshare sales people or other canvassers who won't leave you alone as you tend to find in the big resorts! There aren't any nightclubs (phew) but if you want to sit chatting outside one of the bars or tavernas until the small hours, then the owners will sit and chat with you! The locals are very friendly and welcoming and we feel that the children are safe in the paved square. The scenery around the Village is stunning and we like the beach because it's never crowded but has great facilities.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our Villa is maintained to an excellent standard and has all the equipment that you will need for a great holiday -sunloungers, pool, kitchen / picnic stuff, large 'Outback' gas BBQ and Sky satellite system giving the usual UK freeview channels, plus a 32' flat screen TV. For guests who want to stay in touch whilst at Proteus, the Villa has WiFi internet access. We prepare it for guests as a hotel would prepare its facilities. Some holiday villas are purely letting businesses but we treat this as our home in Cyprus and we maintain it accordingly. The location is great - close to the Village centre and we like to buy fresh free range eggs from the farm at the back of the house.
