This impressive converted property is in the centre of the city, on the very doorstep of all that is interesting and exciting about York, you could not be better placed for a perfect city break. Within walking distance of Bishopthorpe Road, train station and also York race course. The house has gated parking in front of the building. The rooms are spacious and light and are furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom and a family bathroom with skylight window to gaze at the stars whilst relaxing in a hot bubble bath. With all the local amenities just moments away you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of street entertainers, shops, restaurants/bars/cafes or relax with a peaceful river cruise/walk or a lazy picnic in the Minster Gardens.

The location is excellent as it is only a short walk to the City. Parking is reserved and right in front of the flat although the parking area itself is tight but that is to be expected. If you have a very large auto you will have trouble. We had a mid size SUV and were ok. The 2nd bathroom shower drain was slow so you could only have the shower on for only about 2 minutes before you had to stop and wait a few minutes for water to drain or it would have overflowed unto the floor.
Beautiful flat to spend our 5 days in York.Comfy beds, nice kitchen to have our breakfasts in and location couldn’t be any better. Short walk to everything. There are some stairs to access bathroom and bedrooms but were manageable even after long days of touring.Check in process was a breeze and near by pubs were great. It was a great place to stay and would highly recommend.

The apartment is in a good location and the parking was great because we had a car. We had ants all over the first floor and were just told by the owner to contact if it got worse. No solution was given. We still had ants on our bags after on the train to London.
We loved our stay in York and this townhouse made everything very easy. Close to absolutely everything! We didn’t use our car the entire time we were there. Easy walk to the shambles, York minster, Clifford’s Tower and sooo many pubs and restaurants!
We have stayed here twice now and will definitely be staying again. We all love York anyway and Bishop's court makes it feel like home. So comfortable and cosy 👍❤
This property could not have been more conveniently located for enjoying all the sites of York. We stayed here 10 days and the property was very clean and well-equipped. Owners very responsive and helpful—we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely brilliant location and lovely cosy, comfortable modern home. We all loved staying here, the kids loved their room and their own sofa to sit on ❤💙 Very comfortable to come back too after a cold walk around the shambles.
This is our second stay at this property. It is ideally situated for walking into the centre. The house is lovely and the host is very helpful and replies to any queries promptly.

Overall, a decent spot for a family to stay in York. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Easy to walk everywhere. The property manager was very flexible in allowing us to drop luggage off so we didn’t have to carry it around all afternoon and was very responsive. It might not be the most updated apartment, but other qualities win out. Would stay here again.
The location was great, house comfortable and parking good. But honestly the place needs a good scrubbing. There is an ant problem in the kitchen and a bad smell under the sink.
A lovely place in the heart of York. Secure parking a definite bonus. Very convenient and comfortable. The owners were great in responding to any requests we had.
