Great property, great location, would definitely recommend.
I am so pleased you enjoyed staying at Mill Bakery! and thank you for your recommendation. You can't beat a winter break and a blow by the sea on New Years Day but its just as lovely in the summer months so do return!
A lovely house to have a family get together for Christmas . Jo had left us crackers , table cloth , a bottle of red wine and napkins which was a really thoughtful gesture , the Christmas tree was a lovely touch as well, the house was very well equipped and had a good lay out , would definitely recommend, and great position for visiting the coast, the Crown pub in the village was excellent.
I'm so pleased Christmas at Mill Bakery was enjoyable and that you found the house perfect for your needs. i agree, its great having a good local pub that can be walked to and the position of the house is so good to visit all the great places the North Norfolk coast has to offer. Thank you for taking the time to post your review.
A hidden gem!
Beautiful and very comfortable accommodation, very well equipped, great location. Owner very helpful and easily contactable. Would definitely return when up that way again.
I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Mill Bakery, certainly its such a benefit being in a perfect location for so much of what North Norfolk has to offer!
Even when you don't feel like going far there's a coffee shop, great pub and lovely country walks so always easy to relax as soon as you arrive in Norfolk!
We look forward to welcoming you back.
Lovely stay in East Rudham
Mill Bakery is the perfect location for visiting north Norfolk and very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The nearby pub The Crown serves delicious food and is dog friendly. We have had a very relaxing holiday.
Lovely house and we had a lovely stay. The kitchen was excellent space to be in which we used a lot. Very clean and tidy.
The toilet in the family bathroom upstairs was not good a flushing and the plastic black part on the door in the en-suite was lose and came off when we opened the door and we could not shut the door.
The garden was really well kept and lovely. However we didn’t expect to see the gardener arriving in our stay so we had to keep all the children and dogs inside.
Jo was really helpful and lovely and we really appreciate all the help. Thank you
So glad you enjoyed your holiday at Mill Bakery and thank you so much for your helpful feedback, we have had the shower door fixed straight away. I agree it’s a lovely kitchen and Bridget keeps the house beautifully clean and I’m also
so glad you found the garden lovely but I will add to our information that there’s a fab playing field 250 yards along the lane that the children could have taken the dog while Colin cut the grass. I am sorry it disturbed you but as the house is let the whole of the summer holidays he does have to pop in & cut the grass once a week so apologies for any inconvenience caused. Thanks again for your feedback it’s really appreciated and I do hope we can welcome you back to Mill Bakery in the future.
About Jo Tornberg
We love Norfolk! We enjoy walking and so do our two dogs! Having rented plenty of holiday homes with our family over the years when we were lucky enough to buy our own, I wanted to make sure it had everything we has always hoped for on arrival and were often disappointed not to find. I believe that's what we have achieved at Mill Bakery, its perfect! Although we don't allow dogs upstairs in our lovely holiday home it's a perfect place with a reasonably secure garden & outdoor kennel with run. We can arrive, unload and go straight off for a walk without getting back in a car, then to the pub for supper! Even the teenagers find the sailing & catching up with friends in Burnham Market a fun place to be. Also a perfect location for our grandson being easy reach of the lovely Norfolk beaches.
Jo Tornberg purchased this Barn in 2010
Why Jo Tornberg chose West Rudham
East Rudham has everything you want if you don't want to leave the village and its not far from the lovely North Norfolk coast if you want to walk by the sea or enjoy any of the activities from family beach fun to bird watching that Norfolk has to offer. The village has a great pub +The Crown' serving excellent food and there is a village shop all within walking distance.
What makes this Barn unique
Mill Bakery has very easy access with no steps into the house or anywhere on the ground floor. Also because of the downstairs double bedroom and bathroom/wetroom its perfect to bring my father who is registered blind and when I broke my leg and was in a wheel chair the house was really accessible - not easy to find in Norfolk with its small cottages and winding stairs! Being Dog owners its a holiday for our dogs as well, although even on holiday they are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture!
