Es una impresionante villa diseñada por un arquitecto situada en su propio terreno (2. 2 Ha), en medio de viñedos, olivares y campos ondulados. Esta villa moderna, con todo clásica diseñado abarca abierta abertura de estar / comedor a una amplia terraza con sombra. Ubicado en jardines con una piscina infinita de 12 x 6 m y una gran terraza con piscina. Las comodidades también incluyen bañera de hidromasaje, cocina al aire libre con zona de comedor y barbacoa. Perfecto para ver la puesta de sol mientras disfruta de bebidas y una cena junto a la piscina.

En Villa Coramaura estamos encantados de ofrecer un servicio de compras para los huéspedes que llegan después de un largo viaje. También ofrecemos un servicio de cocina para aquellos que realmente quieren relajarse, después de todo, no hay nada mejor que relajarse en la piscina con una copa de vino mientras nuestro cocinero italiano prepara una maravillosa comida tradicional italiana. Incredible holiday

From the moment we arrived , this holiday was the best ever. Tania was fantastic catering to all our needs. The view of the countryside is breathtaking. Sunsets we will ne ver forget! We used the pool and hot tub every day also with fantastic views of the country side. We had all.our meals outside so we could enjoy the view and sunset. Villa is close to Oriveto for shopping and a good starting point for day trips to towns. Highly recommended this villa to everyone . Cio, ron

Ganz tolles und Hochwertiges Haus bis super Aussicht.

Wir waren als Familie mit unseren 3 erwachsenen Söhnen verreist. Alle waren von Anfang bis zum Ende unseres Aufenthalts vom Haus und von der Lage begeistert. Meine Frau hat die Küche und die Küchen-Ausstattung besonders hervorgehoben. Das haben wir auch schon in anderen vergleichbaren Häusern anders erlebt. Die Kinder fanden die Aussicht, den Pool und die Badezimmer sehr gut. Ich persönlich war auch mit dem Haus, Aussicht, Pool und der Umgebung sehr zufrieden. Die Besuche der Altstädte und der umliegenden Restaurants in Original italienischen Lokalen war sehr empfehlenswert. Verbesserungsvorschläge: 1. Im Erdgeschoss eine Klimaanlage einbauen. Am Tage wenn die Türen offen stehen ist es noch erträglich. Am Abend können die Türen und Fenster wegen den Mücken nicht offen bleiben und dann ist man schon kurz vorm ersticken. 2. An den Fenstern im Erdgeschoss sollten Fliegengitter / Netze eingebaut werden. Dann schützt man auch am Tage das Haus vor Ungeziefer. Bei der Sauberkeit gibt es einen Punktabzug da unter den Sofas schmutzig war und vor allem, weil die Mülltonnen überfüllt waren und diese auch die ganze Woche nicht geleert wurden. Wir wussten nocht wohin mit unserem Müll. Ich habe dann an einem Tag die Wertstofftonne zur Hälfte entleert und die ganzen Plastikflaschen zusammengequetscht, damit wir wenigstens einen Teil des Mülls loswerden konnten.

I take note of your comments, unfortunately the refuse collection schedule has changed. I will in future tell guests to let our house manager know if the bins need to be emptied. Prachtige villa met alle voorzieningen!

Het zoeken naar een villa met zwembad verliep vlot via VRBO. Goede en snelle communicatie met de eigenaar (via VRBO ). De villa zelf was een droom. Mooi ingericht en alles was aanwezig. (Behalve een eenvoudig koffieapparaat, wel Bodum koffiemaker) Contact met lokale vertegenwoordigster Monika (vertegenwoordigd de eigenaar) was perfect! We hebben 1 avond haar laten koken...zo lekker en puur...en niet duur! Villa heeft geen airco maar wel overal ventilatoren. Eerste 2 dagen was er een probleem met het zwembad...en de jacuzzi was vuil. Filters van jacuzzi zijn dan uitgekuist en chloortabletten toegevoegd maar uiteindelijk heeft hierdoor niemand nog de jacuzzi willen gebruiken. De laatste 3 dagen zorgde een bosbrand in de buurt (op ongeveer 3 km) voor de nodige spanning. We hebben hier wel een leuke vakantie gehad maar jammer van de hierboven beschreven “toestanden” waarvoor we niet gecompenseerd zijn. VRBO graag een reaktie.

Dear Brigitte I am delighted that you were happy with the Villa and the communications with our House Manager Monika and myself. Also, that you found the cooking done by Monika to be good quality and good value. Your comments about the coffee machine as a valuable addition for guests are noted and we will consider this for future guests. The base of the jacuzzi had to be repaired and this resulted in the surface having a darker colour than the original base making the water seem less clear. I know that the pool and jacuzzi are attended daily by either our House Manager or our Gardner in the early morning and that they have made every effort to deal with the temporary problem with the pool. I understand your concern about local forest fire in the area. Our House Manager was instructed to monitored the situation very closely and give me regular updates. Unfortunately, we cannot control the elements of nature and sincerely hope that this event does not reoccur but acknowledge the worry this can cause. I do apologise for the unforeseen problems with the pool, I assure you that we took all conceivable steps to ensure that our ground staff fixed any problems with the pool as soon as possible. Fantastische Ausblicke

Die Villa liegt exponiert auf einem Hügel und bietet zu jeder Tageszeit wechselnde Ausblicke in die umbrische Landschaft. Das Haus liegt etwas außerhalb aber nahe genug an Geschäften, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch Rom ist gut als Tagesausflug zu machen. Zudem bieten sich Wanderungen und Biken an. Sehr empfehlenswert. Unsere Familie hat den Aufenthalt absolut genossen.

Simply wonderful!!

We, a family of 7 adults plus an 11 month old baby had an amazing holiday in this beautiful villa. We stayed there beginning of August for 8 nights and had a fantastic weather the entire time. Congratulation to Joan for this lovely and cosy villa which is furnished very tastefully. Communication with Joan upfront was excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and we appreciated the welcome package very much. We found everything as described and have to say that the reality looks even better than the pictures. Never seen such beautiful sunsets. Absolutely stunning. The layout of the house is perfect. The bedrooms downstairs remain cool when the shutters are closed during the day. Despite having had 35 degrees during the day, we did not need to use the fans in the bedrooms. Breakfast and dinner we always had at the terrace upstairs, which is next to the kitchen and offers a fantastic view over the country. During the day we enjoyed the infinity pool and the pool area very much, which offers plenty of sun loungers and a cosy lounge area. One highlight of our stay was definitely having Tania cook for us on two nights. She is an exceptional chef, cooking tasty local dishes from home-made pasta to wild boar stew. Thank you Tania for making our stay so special. We had a wonderful relaxing week and will miss this wonderful home. Can’t wait to be back. We can recommend this villa very much.

Au calme au coeur de l'Ombrie

La Villa Coramaura est une très jolie maison à la campagne, idéalement située à 20 minutes d'Orvieto, 5 minutes de Montecchio et 10 de Civitella de Lago. Au milieu des champs face à un sublime paysage (ne surtout pas rater les couchers du soleil un verre de vin ou un de negroni à la main depuis la terrasse ou la piscine). La maison est très élégamment restaurée et dispose de tout le confort nécessaire pour passer de belles vacances en famille ou entre amis. Joan et Tania sont très sympathiques, à l'écoute et disponibles pour que votre séjour se déroule au mieux. Merci et qui sait à bientôt. Anthony

Eine absolut ruhig gelegene Villa

Wir waren als Familie für eine Woche hier. Die Betreuung durch Tania war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Die Villa selbst ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage ist wie beschrieben, sehr ruhig, nach 2 Kilometer auf einer Sandstraße. Der nächste größere Ort Orvieto ist eine halbe Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt. Wen das nicht stört, der hat es hier wunderschön. Traumhafter Ausblick in ruhiger Lage, großes Pool, tolles Haus. Für uns war es eine wunderschöne Woche mit vielen Ausflügen und viel Entspannung.

Amazing private villa, but definitely rural and remote

This villa is very private and definitely somewhere to feel like you've "escaped from it all." The views from the villa are rolling hills of farmland. I was skeptical about renting a house without a/c, but even in the hottest of weeks (highs of 35-37°C / 95 - 98°F) the bedrooms are cool in the evening and the veranda by the pool remains nice in the afternoon as well. It's a great place to be with a group of friends, but also works wonderfully for when you need some quiet time thanks to the various seating areas. Pros: the sunsets, great pool, modern renovated bathrooms, the hot tub, functional kitchen, lots of seating areas and terraces. Amazing picturesque landscape. Kitchen fully outfitted with all the accessories you could need to prep a meal. There was a welcome basket with coffee, wine, pasta, snacks. Washing machine AND dryer. Cons (to be aware of, but they didn't ruin our stay): It's decidedly buggy and there can be ants in the kitchen even putting away all food, on a rocky dirt road that can be tough for a low car, nearest proper supermarket is 25 min away, the mattresses could be replaced and even the kids complained about them. Some early mornings you'll be awoken by tractors driving on the rocky roads if you're not a deep sleeper. The bedrooms are all next to each other so snoring can be heard on the other side of the wall.

Erholsamer Familienurlaub in ruhiger Umgebung

Coramaura ist eine von den Besitzern liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Villa auf dem Land in Südumbrien in der Nähe zu den Regionen Latium und Toskana. Sie verfügt über einen privaten Infinity Pool mit einem tollen Blick über die Hügellandschaft Umbriens. Die nächsten Ortschaften und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind Montecchio und Baschi, die man mit dem Auto in 10 bis 15 Minuten erreicht. Ein eigenes Auto ist fast unerlässlich, Parkplätze gibt es beim Haus. In der Nähe befinden sich viele lohnenswerte Ausflugsziele wie Orvieto, der Bolsena-See, die Casacate delle Marmore, Todi und viele andere mehr. Auch Rom ist nicht weit weg (ca.1,5 Autostunden). Das Haus besteht aus 2 Stöcken. Im oberen Stock befinden sich die Küche und das Wohnzimmer (ein gemeinsamer Raum, gut ausgestattet und sehr gemütlich), im unteren Stock vier kühle Zimmer, wobei zwei über ein eigenes Bad verfügen und noch ein drittes Bad für die anderen beiden Zimmer verfügbar ist. Besonders schön ist die Terrasse vor der Küche, auf der man bei fantastischen Sonnenuntergängen das Abendessen genießen kann. Wer sich verwöhnen lassen möchte, kann die Kochkünste der Hausmanagerin Tania in Anspruch nehmen. Zwei Grillstellen (eine auf der Terrasse, eine direkt am Pool) gehören ebenso zu diesem tollen Haus. Wir haben mit unserer (erweiterten) Familie erholsame und ruhige Ferien verbracht.

Wolfgang e la sua famiglia hanno soggiornato a Villa Coramaura per 2 settimane. Trascorsero del tempo in relax nella villa, in piscina e in giardino. Hanno visitato molte delle attrazioni e città locali che raccomandiamo nel "Libro della casa" per informazioni sugli ospiti. Erano ospiti eccellenti e saremmo felici se tornassero a stare con noi in futuro. Wolfgang and his family stayed at Villa Coramaura for 2 weeks. They spent time relaxing in the villa, in the swimming pool and in the garden. They visited many of the local attractions and cities that we recommend in the " House Book" for guest information. They were excellent guests and we would be happy if they returned to stay with us in the future.

Wow! Just wow! What a place. The location is just stunning. Amazing views from all aspects. A well designed villa where thought has gone into the arrangement of rooms. The kitchen is a little small but clean, modern and functional. The upstairs living space is airy, light and stylish. All the bathrooms are clean and faultless. The bedrooms are cool, large and comfortable. The outside space makes it though. The pool area is to die for and the pool, with its infinity view is just breathtaking. All in all this was an amazing stay in a fantastic villa. Watch out for mosquitoes though. There is an awful lot of them. Will definitely return with our friend who sadly missed this trip. Thanks

Holiday at Coramaura

The villa lived up to every expectation for our stay. Beautiful setting, great rural countryside with spectacular sunsets. The villa is more than adequately equipped with top end appliances, cutlery, pottery etc to fully meet all guest requirements. Our group fully utilised the outdoor barbeque and kitchen pizza stone in the oven. We had to force our grandchildren out of the fabulous pool to visit the local communities. House manger Tania was extremely friendly and was readily available for support. She also cooks a delicious meal of several courses. We would strongly recommend that any visitors should consider this option. You will not be disappointed. The only advice I would give is that this is a rural location and to rent a vehicle that is appropriate for the local road conditions.

Lovely peaceful holiday

We had a great time relaxing, reading, swimming and visiting some of the beautiful Umbrian hill-top towns. The property is lovely and the bedroom floor (downstairs) is always cool. The pool pump had an issue but was quickly fixed which was great because we needed to swim to get away from the July Umbrian heat. Assisi is beautiful, as is Orvieto and Todi where the main square has buildings reminiscent of Florence and Palais des Papes in Avignon. Montecchio is a bit boring but Civitella is worth a visit to stroll around the cool streets. Any hot country location will have a lot of biting insects; be prepared to protect yourself. Tania, the property manager is really helpful and prepares a great meal but check you have the right number for her. The roads are unpaved within about 1km of the villa so an SUV is a benefit although we coped with a low slung mercedes A-class rental. We didn’t use the terrace areas away from the villa; there didn’t seem any need with the other shaded areas available. The shade by the pool was really good with fridge, sink and BBQ adjacent to have everything we needed on hand. The kitchen, lounge, dining area is not as cool as downstairs but the hilltop location means there is usually a breeze to help keep cool. The kitchen is well equipped including Smeg and Franke appliances.

Having looked at porperties in Liguria, Le Marche and Tuscany, we setteled on Umbria. As lovers of all things Italian we favoured the countryside and were attracted to this area because of its fantastic views. Easy access to/from Rome and Perugia airports allows us to visit as much as possible. We wanted to be away from the main tourist sites yet close to the many wonderful attractions of Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio.

We love the wonderful green countryside, big skys, bright sunshine and warm temperatures. Hanse we have created areas of quite seclusion within our large garden. The views are amazing both day and night and the sunsets are fantastic. Best viewed form one of our many terraces. This property is a real escape. we are located in a quite area but not difficult to find and close to the A1 motorway.
The area is steeped in history with magnificent renaissance architecture. Orvieto and Todi are both great towns with lots of attractions. While there is lots to do in the area we also like to relax and admire the beautiful views, wide landscape, skies and sunsets. There are plenty of activities for kids and local attractions. We go to Orvieto just to look at the Duomo - it never fails to impress, and to sample many of the great restaurants there. We also love Lake Bolsena which is 25 minutes away - handy for a great lunch by the lake side.
Villa Coramaura is well positioned for the beautiful Cammino dei Borghi Silenti Walking Trail - The Way of the Silent Villages.

The villa is cool and airy and a haven of peace and tranquility. Watching the sun set form the upper terrace and looking over the vineyards, is truly magical. All bedrooms open into the garden for easy access to the pool. The infinity pool looks into the hillside villages and far away mountains. There is room to spread out into the garden or just enjoy the pool for soaking up the sun on a sun-lounger. Enjoy the hidden places in the garden offering somewhere to sit and relax in peace and tranquility.
