Excellent views of the Lake! We decided last minute we’d like to stay and extra night but no one is available on the weekends Railey to connect…. But just shows how much we enjoyed our stay!

We loved the house. The space and layout were great for our family group of 14 people from age 1 to 75. The double kitchen appliances made meals super easy (2 fridges, 2 stoves/ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers). There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, much of it is cosmetic. The pool, game room, and hot tubs were great too, though the hot tubs were not heating past about 97-8 degrees, despite them already being set to a higher temperature. I would definitely stay here again.

We choose this rental every year for our Girls Trip. The location is wonderful, the rental is very spacious and has all the amenities needed for a wonderful and relaxing vacation.

Everything was clean and as advertised. In addition property management was responsive and clear instructions were given.

Girls Trip 2023

Our friends group enjoyed our annual Girls Trip at this fabulous rental. It’s was roomy, clean and by far exceeded our expectations. Location and view were amazing. Plan on inquiring this rental next year.

Great Location that met our needs

Perfect location. House is large enough and had enough room to accompany a group of 16. The house and property are in need of some repairs and upkeep.

American Eagle

Overall the stay at the American Eagle was a satisfactory experience. The house is large and well laid out to accomodate a large group. Even with colder weather, there were plenty of activities to keep teenagers and adults occupied. The interior of the house was satisfactory however could use some updating. On our only full day of our stay, we were greeted by the pool attendant which serviced the pool. We could not use the pool during this period and were dissapointingly told that we needed to stay out of the pool for 2-3 hours. The pool was a major consideration when choosing a house rental. I believe this service could have waited until after our check out. Another issue was the main fireplace in the great room was missing a pane of glass. The glass screen appeared to be in excess of 25 years old and broken and should be repaired/replaced.

We would like to mention that due to county policy we are required to service our pools daily, we do try to coordinate with our arrivals and departures as well as service pools at the most convenient time but sometimes we do have to come at different times throughout the day. We will also be sure to pass the information concerning the glass panel to the homeowners for future improvements. Otherwise we are glad that you and your group overall enjoyed your experience and we hope to have the chance to rent to you again in the future where I am confident we can provide a positive rental experience. EO Retreat

Pros: 1. The management company was very responsive and quick to send people out. 2. Wonderful kitchen 3. Good layout for a business meeting with about 8 participants Cons: 1. A bit more worn down then the pictures would lead you to believe 2. More of a college frat party house - some carpet stains, broken chairs, holes in the walls (not many, but here and there) Overall: as long as you understand it's not exactly as nice as the pictures, it is a nice place to have a business retreat.

Mixed review

This is a large property suitable for a large group with varying ages (we had 9 adults and 3 children and had one empty bedroom). The property and furnishing were not in good repair. It needs paint inside and out, the shrubbery needs to be trimmed back, and it needs a thorough, deep cleaning. There are numerous carpet stains. There are downed tree limbs in the yard. The inside furniture needs to be painted. The dining table was sticky and I was unable to get it cleaned. Parking was sufficient. Indoor pool was a nice feature and is secured by lock and alarm so there were no worries about the young children. In all, this was a functional property, albeit quite worn. Given these concerns and our experience with other comparably-priced properties, it is my opinion that this property is a bit overpriced.

Perfect house for a large group

The house was great! Even though the weather was rainy and not possible to ski we really had a great time. The house has multiple living areas so our large group could be in different places playing board games (we brought with us) assembling a puzzle (we brought with us), etc and it really didn’t feel like we always had to be around each other. We loved the indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub combination. While the house does need a little bit of cosmetic updating it is a great property with spacious rooms, spacious kitchen, and plenty of amenities to keep you enjoying your stay the whole trip!
