About this property
Charming Character Cottage with pretty gardens. 10 Minutes walk to beach.
Bridget's cottage is a cosy, pet friendly Victorian cottage situated a stone's throw from the marshes and the scenic path along by Buss Creek that leads to North beach and the Pier.
In the Summer the cottage is flooded with light and you can eat outside in the sunny garden from first thing in the morning until the sun disappears. In the Winter you can curl up in front of the cosy wood burning stove.
Opposite this charming cottage there is a village store offering a wide range of fresh produce including artisan bread and meats from a local butcher. Lovers of good food and local beers will find a range of pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Situated on Suffolk's Heritage Coast, with endless opportunities for walking, cycling, bird watching and painting, home to RSPBs flagship reserve, Minsmere. You can also explore lovely characterful villages like Walberswick and Dunwich, where you can enjoy the sand dunes, go crabbing and have a picnic or pub lunch by an open fire.

About the host
Hosted by Judy Cullen-Moore
Some friends invited us to stay with them in their cottage in Reydon back in 2005. We fell in love with the area and visited as often as possible. We dreamt of having our own place here. When my mum sadly died two years ago we were able to use her legacy to realise our dream. The cottage is named after her. We've enjoyed renovating it, adding our stamp and making it as cosy and homely as possible. It gives us the perfect chance to do what we love best: walking, cycling, sitting by log fires in lovely pubs or settling in for the evening in front of our woodburner with friends and family. We hope you enjoy coming here as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
We love the fact that we can pop to the shop when we need things without having to plan in advance or can send our son when we're cooking and find we're short of something vital. We love eating al-fresco in our secluded and sunny garden. Even though you can't see the sea you know it's not far when you spot the top of the lighthouse from the front bedroom.
