Thank you for your review and for flagging up a couple of repairs that we were unaware of and will address immediately. There should be a wall cupboard for dry goods but sometimes guests put crockery in different cupboards and no space is left so we will ensure that our cleaner checks that there is free space for grocery storage. We aim to give our guests the best possible experience. The standard of cleanliness is very important to us and is something that usually gets very positive feedback. We are sorry about the issue behind the sofas and will pass that on to our cleaner.
Lovely comfortable modern cottage, thank you for a lovely stay!

A great property for a family of four, especially if you have older teenagers as there are separate bedrooms for the kids and a cosy front room with TV. The grocery shop across the road is really great with friendly staff.
Lovely stay, gr8 location, pleasant cottage only critisism garden could benefit from some attention.

Dear Alison,
Thank you for your positive comments about the cottage and the location. We have recently taken on a new gardener after a bit of a gap when the previous one left at short notice so that will get the garden looking its best again 😊
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in your lovely cottage, the walks into Southwold are easily done in 15 mins, Southwold itself is great, we had a few great lunches at the Lord Nelson, fish and chips from the little fish and chip shop and coffees in the morning at the Adnams café, we definitely recommend the cottage and location and will certainly re visit in the future.
Bridget’s cottage was perfect for our needs. Ideally positioned with a shop just opposite stocking a wide range of delicious food and other essentials and just a few minutes drive from the centre of Southwold. The cottage was very clean and welcoming and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Delighted that you enjoyed your stay. The shop is indeed a great asset. We hope to host you again at some point
A very cute cottage, well presented and clean.Stairs were steep for a long walk to downstairs toilet. Main bedroom mattress uncomfortable. Not withstanding this the cottage is very nice and warm the welcome pack was a nice touch.A good enjoyable experience

Thank you for your lovely comments about the cottage. We are so glad you had an enjoyable experience. We are sorry you found the bed uncomfortable. It is not something any other guests have said and some have commented on the beds being comfortable. The mattress is a good quality Emma memory foam one. Maybe the firmness was different to what you prefer. Hopefully it did not impact on your stay too much. Victorian cottages often have steep stairs and downstairs bathrooms and this does not suit everyone but hopefully it wasn’t too much of an issue for you. We will pass your positive comment about the cleaning to our cleaner. Kind regards
Just what we wanted. Perfect little cosy cottage within walking distance of Southwold. We had everything we needed . Comfy beds and we loved the little log burner . Would definitely book again .

Was a lovely little cottage, location was perfect walking distance from town centre and beachfront. The cottage was the perfect size for our family of 5. Would definately stay again
Lovely cottage in a great location. Well equipped for a family. Short walk through the fields or via Southwold to the beach. Area is lovely and local shop, although pricey, has all your emergency needs and lots of tasty treats. Hosts were great and very accommodating.

About the host
Hosted by Judy Cullen-Moore
Some friends invited us to stay with them in their cottage in Reydon back in 2005. We fell in love with the area and visited as often as possible. We dreamt of having our own place here. When my mum sadly died two years ago we were able to use her legacy to realise our dream. The cottage is named after her. We've enjoyed renovating it, adding our stamp and making it as cosy and homely as possible. It gives us the perfect chance to do what we love best: walking, cycling, sitting by log fires in lovely pubs or settling in for the evening in front of our woodburner with friends and family. We hope you enjoy coming here as much as we do.
What makes this property unique
We love the fact that we can pop to the shop when we need things without having to plan in advance or can send our son when we're cooking and find we're short of something vital. We love eating al-fresco in our secluded and sunny garden. Even though you can't see the sea you know it's not far when you spot the top of the lighthouse from the front bedroom.
