Great villa

Would recommend this villa to anyone. Everything you need for your stay is provided and the location is superb, 5 min walk into Pissouri Bay, but in a really quiet location.

Wonderful villa and gardens

Wonderful stay in Pissouri Bay. The villa had everything to hand and a very homely feel. Pool and gardens were amazing. Great location. Other lovely beaches and pissouri old town etc near by but a car needed to get to them.

Second visit

This was our second stay at 8 Vinelands and it was every bit as good as the first. Beautiful property, peaceful, relaxing and close to great restaurants. It's a great base from which to explore and then return for a dip in the fab pool with drinks on the patio watching the sunset. The host Paul is excellent answering any queries promptly. Our stay was a joy.

Great house with beautiful garden

We spent a great time in this very well equiped house. The surroundings were beautiful & quiet and the many restaurants in walking distance were a plus. Great beach: pebbles but sand in the water. We will come back!

Home from home in beautiful Pissouri Bay

We very much enjoyed our stay in this villa which is very well equipped. Broadband had been installed the day we arrived, so the TV didn’t work in the beginning, but Paul was very reactive and had it fixed the next day. The villa is walking distance to the beach, and the Bay and its many nice restaurants. The mosquito nets on the doors and windows were a real plus. We hope to return next year!

Lovely Villa in a perfect setting

Easy drive with easy to follow directions from the Airport, villa entry very easy and a small welcome pack made the first night/morning easy. Villa has everything you need and the garden/pool is perfect and not a small pool. Area lovely and quiet and we went to 5 different restaurant's in the village and couldn't fault any of them, nice supermarket 5 minutes drive in the village of Pissouri. Perfect base for a perfect holiday but I would say a car is essential to see the Island.

Pissouri Bay Villa

We have stayed in this villa twice previously due to it's location in Pissouri Bay. The villa is of a very good standard. The nice clean pool is one of the main reasons we book it and for it's privacy. Inside has everything you need from all the appliances to the 2 bedroom on-suites. It's just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes. Also a short taxi ride to the square in Pissouri, where there are more excellent eating and drinking places. There is also Cypriot nights during the summer season in the square. The villa is also quite central for visiting other areas of Cyprus. Well worth booking, in our opinion.

A very comfortable and well equipped villa. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful garden with pool, shady as well as sunny areas and outdoor eating opportunities. Unfortunately the pretty cats so numerous in Cyprus left rather unpleasant calling cards which we had to clear away. Some poo bags would have been useful.

We know that some guests adopt a cat or two for their vacation and even give them pet names and nibbles. The few cats that come about usually do keep to themselves which is good as we know not everyone likes cats. Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. The villa gives you a good feeling of privacy. Unfortunately we had to rescue two hedgehogs out of the pool in the morning. There could be something like a stair for small animals to provide them from drowning at night. We also liked the cats that strayed all around the village and the garden. They did not bother us. Thanks.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Villa in Pissouri Bay. The Villa was very clean and well equipped, the pool was delightful to cool off in and the garden a great place to relax. The arrangements for access and all details provided by the owner were clear and very helpful for our stay. Throughout from first booking to arrival, the response to any queries was extremely prompt. And when we had a small bit of bother during our stay, the owner and the management company responded immediately to assist in whatever way they could. The bay is a great place to swim and enjoy some activities and there are some superb restaurants and bars in easy reach. We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to relax and enjoy a break from the busyness of life

Relaxed and private

A well equipped nice villa in an ideal location. Close to all the necessary amenities which is just a short walk away. Only let down was the pool attendant kept turning up to try and get the pool sorted. He was even in the pool at one point! He prevented us from using it on a few occasions. If he just put the correct chemicals in the pool in the first place there wouldn’t have been a problem. Apart from that everything else was good. Would recommend a stay here.

Fabulous, full stop!

Everything you need is here in Villa 8. Comfortable beds, modern appliances, Wi-fi, pool and more. Off the beaten path but central to sights, beaches and night life. You'll have no trouble resting up at the Villa for a day between day trips and enjoy utter relaxation and quiet. Walk to local dining, or drive up to old Pissouri for authentic taverna dining. Walk to the beach, or admire it from the veranda off of each bedroom. Pharmacy and grocery within a 5 minute drive; location is 5 mins off the A6. Day trip distance to entire island. We toured Famagusta to Troodos mountains, to Paphos. Don't worry if you didn't bring a guide book ... lots of reference materials in the villa. Don't hesitate, just book. You'll be glad you did!

Fantastic stay in July

The 4 of us, myself my, Wife and two 16 year old girls had a fantastic stay in this villa for 10 days in July, before we arrived i had contacted the owner to request a slightly earlier check-in due to our flight time, he responded promptly and arranged this with the Villa manager Janne (Jan). The arrival- check-in was really easy having been sent all the information before, we where actually pleasantly surprised as the pictures dont really do it Justice. We knew the villa was in a great location having been to pissouri many times, but you do need a car, during our stay we had an issue with the Safe (our own fault) I contacted Jan (all contact details provided prior to arrival) who responded almost immediately and came over to assist, the issue was sorted out within 24H . The villa has everything you'll need for a great relaxing stay, and we'll definitely look at staying here again.

A Peaceful Oasis by the Sea

The property was even better than we anticipated. It was a real home from home. The pool and garden were beautiful and gave the feeling of peace and seclusion, although local amenities were just a short stroll away.The kitchen was well equipped and all of the appliances were really good. The TV and entertainment package was absolutely brilliant. We could access just about any channel we could think of, any many others we hadn't. At least one of the shower rooms had been upgraded since the host's photos were taken, so that came as a pleasant surprise.The pool was immaculate and the sun loungers were excellent quality, and probably the most comfortable I'd ever experienced.We have stayed in the area several times before and so we knew just how well positioned the villa is. We didn't bother hiring a car because everything we needed was just a few minutes walk away. We did take a taxi to the large supermarket on our first day. After that, anything we needed could be found in the local shops.Overall, I think it would be hard to beat our hassle free, relaxing holiday in this fabulous villa.

Absolute bliss!

This is a real home from home villa. Excellently equipped throughout. Immaculately kept gardens where you can hear the sea! We have just returned from a 10 night stay at No8 and can honestly say, after 5 great previous villa rentals in Cyprus : this one finally ticked ALL the boxes! Resort is quiet and small but with an excellent range of restaurants (Saffron and Il Buchetto our favourites!) and shops within 5 mins walk. Supermarket and petrol station 10 mins drive; we went out for a few days so our usual car hire is not essential - but it's our norm - as Paphos Airport is only 30 mins drive. Beach is also a 5 mins stroll with all manner of water sports for the more adventurous; changing rooms; loungers and parasols for hire; and the much welcomed ice cream van! We were more than happy to chill out round the pool - plenty of super comfy loungers - and put a cheeky BBQ together: we really did have it all in our laps! Possibly our last "family" holiday but definitely one to remember and hope to return! Thanks for a wonderful stay at beautiful Pissouri Bay!

Thanks for your review and letting us know about the Tv system. Sorry you faced an issue with the Internet TV that we didn't know about. We installed an upgraded internet tv system this season that may have possibly needed some adjustment from the weather conditions. We work hard to provide all our guests with the best holiday experience as shown from our many 5 star reviews. Please, please do let us know as soon as possible if something needs attention so Janne can sort it right away to ensure a happy holiday experience. Janne is just a few minutes away from the villa and is very keen to keep all our guests happy.
