Lovely Four Bedroom Villa With Large Private Gated Pool - Free Wifi and Aircon

This four-bedroom eco-friendly villa with a private gated pool is on the outskirts of Carvoeiro and is a short drive (5min) or a twenty to thirty minute walk from the centre of this attractive, family oriented, seaside resort with its many bars and restaurants and beautiful beach. The villa has an outside barbecue, covered terrace, a gated roof-terrace with beautiful countryside and distant sea views and lovely private gardens.
In light of the Covid 19 Pandemic the Clean and Safe Seal has been obtained for Casa Luessa guaranteeing conformance to best practices with respect to Covid19 prevention.
The villa is single storey layout making it very accessible and it is ideal for families with Table Tennis table, board games and books for holiday reading available and also a travel cot and high-chair are supplied for small children.
This traditional Portuguese villa was refurbished in 2015 to achieve an 'A' energy rating through the use of External Insulation to the Walls and Roof, coupled with Double Glazed Windows, Electric Shutters and Solar Generated Hot Water and Photovoltaic Panels.
Free Wifi , TV and Air Conditioning all included. Pool heating is an optional extra.
There is one double bedroom which has a large ensuite bathroom and three twin bedded rooms two of which have ensuite bathrooms. In addition the standalone bathroom and fully-fitted kitchen have been recently refurbished to a high standard.
There is no Gas supply or equipment used in the villa to guarantee your safety during your stay. Fire extinguisher and smoke alarms are of course present.

For your added convenience an on-line account with a local supermarket (Apolonia, Lagoa) is active for trouble-free delivery of any groceries you may wish to have during your stay. Login details to the website in English and Portuguese will be supplied on arrival.

We had the best time staying here. Location is great and we could easily walk into the town.Communication was very easy, and we were able to check in early.We were 2 families staying here with 4 young children and the pool was perfect- we spent a lot of time enjoying it! It was well equipped with everything we needed and we didn’t expect it to be cleaned during our stay! We would love to stay here again :)

Great stay for families

We had a lovely time at the villa, it was very well equipped and plenty of room to spread out. We really enjoyed using the pool and having the water heated makes a great difference. The property was really clean and tidy, and we would definitely recommend a stay here. Plenty of good bars and restaurants in the local town- about a 20minute walk.

Beautiful villa in a quiet but convenient location

I would highly recommend this villa for families or groups with children of all ages. The property was immaculate, well catered and very comfortable. Plenty within walking distance and a very peaceful location.

Wonderful stay

We spend a very nice week in the house . It is well equipped, very clean and really well done. We enjoy the swimming pool and the diner on the terrace. Easy to go to all the famous places with our car. Carveiro center is at 20 mn by foot and you have plenty of bars and restaurants

We had a great week at Casa Luessa. It is brilliantly equipped, the pool is lovely and it was perfect for our needs. Having a bathroom for each room was excellent too. We walked to town most evenings and had no problems getting taxis back. Overall a fantastic stay and we will be back!

Fantastic Villa

The villa gave us loads of space both inside and out. My favourite being the outside space, especially the sunsets from the rooftop. Lots of great restaurants a short walk away. We used local taxis for transfers and shopping, otherwise we walked everywhere.

Perfect holiday getaway

The villa is set in beautiful gardens, surrounded by some spectacular flowers. Excellent sized pool, perfect setting for a holiday. Spacious villa with great amenities. Plenty of space for 4 adults, bonus of a bathroom each! The walk to town is about 15 /20 mins, although plenty of taxi’s if you don’t want to walk back.? Had the most glorious time, would highly recommend.

Another great holiday!

This is a villa that has everything that we want! Three excellent en-suite bedrooms plus one with a separate bathroom. Comfortable lounge and dining area and a well stocked kitchen with two fridges, plus washing facilities. There is also a well stocked library which our 17 year old granddaughter took advantage of. Add to this an excellent swimming pool and outdoor area and close proximity to the town, supermarkets and golf and you can see why we are regulars at the villa!

So why do we keep coming back? 1. It is a beautiful villa which is kept immaculately clean by the excellent maid 2. We enjoyed our stay so much in 2017 that we came again this year. The villa has everything needed for a great holiday for ten of us including 4 children, 2 of whom were under 3. The gated pool is particularly good for keeping young children safe. Having two fridges in the kitchen is also really useful (keeps the wine and beer cool!) The 4 bedrooms are all air conditioned and the maid keeps the whole villa very clean and changes towels and bedding regularly. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed their stay and we look forward to visiting again

Overall a very good stay. One bedroom’s aircon system was broken and a portable system was provided, although this did not cool the room sufficiently. New aircon unit was fitted on the Thursday of our stay. Pool recirc system also tripped out midweek and it was switched back on the Friday afternoon. Alarm went off twice for no apparent reason. All small niggles, without effecting the overall enjoyment of our stay. We have stayed here 4 times now and have always found communication with Rose and David exceptionally easy. The distance from the villa to the centre of Carvoeiro a problem for myself now at 70 however a taxi back up the hill very reasonable at 4 - 7 euros. Overall, lovely villa with spacious grounds, nice pool and table tennis table. All in all, great for a quiet family holiday

Another visit to a marvellous villa !

This is the third time that we have rented this villa - that shows how much we love it. The facilities are excellent, the villa is immaculate as are the gardens and the pool area (with table tennis table). Two large fridges and a freezer are particularly useful, and the newly updated bathroom is very nice. There are excellent restaurants within a couple of minutes drive and three supermarkets within less than ten minutes drive Carvoeiro is also less than ten minutes drive though parking was more difficult this year. Our party had grandparents, four further adults and children ranging from 18 months to 12 years old and we all love staying at this villa.

Lovely villa set in a beautiful garden

We loved this villa which is set in the outskirts of Carvoiero but still only a very pleasant 20 minute walk into town (and that’s for the oldies). The pool is fantastic - and a really big. Villa is very well equipped and all the rooms are a very good size. Bathrooms are lovely. It was a delight sitting on the terrace looking at the garden. We ate at the large table there - it was wonderful. All bedrooms have AC which makes for a very good night’s sleep - temp was reaching 45 in the sun when we were there. My only improvement would be AC in the living room. Would definitely book again.

The villa was amazing and had everything we needed. We arrived and there was a wonderful welcome pack which was much appreciated. We were two families of 4 with teenage children. The pool area was great, and the table tennis entertained all of us. It’s good that each room has access to its own bathroom so no arguments when trying to get ready to go out. The air con worked well, and we loved the coffee machine. I bought a box of capsules from the UK but there were some already there when we arrived. Thhe pictures don’t do it justice.Communication before we arrived and with the agent was brilliant. We couldn’t work out how to open the bike shed and they came following day to show us. Used the bikes a couple of times but most of the time we walked. We would walk to the big supermarket (around 20 mins) and would then get an uber back with all the shopping or would walk back if we could carry it. There is a local restaurant on the way back that was very reasonable if you get thirsty. You can walk to the local restaurants of Caraveiro and the beach. 15-20 mins. Plenty of nice places to eat. I would definitely return again.

We were a family of 6, all adults over 18. We really enjoyed the villa in particular the pool, and table tennis. As per listing and previous reviews it is about 15 min walk from the nearest shop and restaurants on the outskirts of the town. We found that fine most of the time - actually prefer the peace and quiet to being in town - but once or twice - in extreme heat, or late night we used Über to get home which is very cheap and available. Our group availed of par 3 golf, very close by, plus wine tasting also within 10/15 minutes by Uber. The villa is lovely. All mod cons, really nice bathrooms in particular. The photos do not do it justice in my opinion. Thank you for everything. The cleaner/pool guy/Manager were all most helpful and attentive without being obtrusive.

We picked Carvoeiro as it has the perfect balance of being busy but not too busy in peak season and quiet but not too quiet in the depths of winter.

Why they chose this property

We loved the space, the peace and quiet and the proximity to the bustling village of Carvoeiro. We have tried to upgrade the eco-friendliness of the villa without losing its authentic rustic charm and we hope to continually increase these efforts as funds become available. Solar panels on the roof heat all of the hot water while panels on the garden generate electricity. The external wall insulation and electric shutters lower the need for air-conditioning saving energy and offering a quieter more peaceful sleep.
The gardens were created by professionals and a joy to see at any time of year.
