Just had a lovely stay in this quaint, country cottage which easily accommodates six upstairs, but would be a squeeze for six in the lounge. Exceptionally clean throughout with a lovely, enclosed, sun trap garden. Parking is very tight. We have a Ford Galaxy and were lucky as the owners went away during our stay and could park slightly off road, outside their garage, otherwise I had concerns about leaving a large car on such a narrow, steep, country lane. When we arrived we were meet by the owner Ali who was very welcoming and showed us around the house. She explained to us that it was actually her home which she rents out during the summer months, whilst her and her partner live next door in a converted shed. The property was perfect for the two of us with our two dogs in every way, except for two minor points. Firstly, if it’s chilly there is no central heating, so we had to use the wood burner and electric radiators provided and secondly, the water pressure on the shower is very low which made it a struggle to use but this was explained to us on arrival.
St Just and the surrounding area is stunning, especially the coastline and we would recommend a walk from Land’s End to Sennen cove, or a peaceful visit to Mullion cove,
On the whole we had a lovely, relaxing week away.
