Come and enjoy one of the most delightful neighborhoods on the Newport Peninsula, which also owns bragging rights among locals as the best beach location in town! Newly available as a year-round vacation home, this single family, two-story home is nicely situated on the second block back from the beach – away from the crowds, yet so close to great surf, great eats and every convenience a traveler might require – all within easy walking distance!
The front patio boasts a relaxing sitting area and barbecue, which provides a friendly “meet and greet” area with the neighbors and visiting guests, if desired. Stepping through the red front Dutch door, the combined living and dining area is tastefully, yet comfortably furnished for family gatherings, meals, game night or movies: a large dining table, cable TV & smart DVD player, and sofa. The adjacent kitchen is completely stocked with cookware and dinnerware for meal preparation and is flanked by a handy breakfast counter for quick meals or snacks. A side entry off the kitchen is convenient as an alternate thoroughfare to and from the beach.
The downstairs bedroom has a bunkbed and full bathroom. Three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are located on the second story: a king bed, portable air conditioner and cable TV are supplied in the front master bedroom; a queen bed is provided in the spacious second bedroom at the top of the stairs; 1 queen bed in the third bedroom at the rear of the house. A spacious rear deck just off the third bedroom provides an enclosed, private setting for morning sun or afternoon shade.
The bathroom at the top of the stairs has a step-in shower; a tub/shower combo is situated in the hallway bath.
To sleep a total of 10 guests: in addition to the bed configurations listed above, we utilize 2 trifold twin floor mats w/ extra linens and pillows - best used for children. In lieu of the floor mats, guests can rent twin rollaway beds from our delivery service, when preferred for adult use. Please contact our office to make arrangements in advance.
PARKING: Rear alley access to the double garage affords two parking spaces for midsize or standard size vehicles.(No oversized SUV's.) Garage dimensions 80" H x double wide. General neighborhood street parking (metered or unmetered) also in area.
Due to the moderate coastal climate, this house (like most in the area) DOES NOT have air conditioning.
