A family friendly beach retreat!

Nestled in a bountiful “tree house”, enjoy our beautiful upstairs Veranda condominium featuring three bedrooms (2 bedroom plus loft) and two bathrooms accommodating seven people comfortably. Steps away from swimming pools, the newly built fitness center and world class tennis center, this beach retreat offers all you would need for a memory filled vacation. Vaulted ceilings create a spacious open floor plan with living and dining space featuring sliding glass doors that open to a deck and screened wrap around porch that is a perfect setting for morning coffee or evening drinks. The master bedroom has a queen bed with bath, the second bedroom has two twin beds and the loft provides a twin and a trundle bed (opens to a king bed) along with a play area for children to enjoy. Walk to the private Sea Colony Beach which is a short half mile away or hop on the seasonal shuttle with a stop at our door step

Great family rental!

We loved this beach house. Great location in Sea Colony with a short walk to the Fitness Center and tennis courts. Check in was easy and we were able to get Sea Colony passes for the week, so we were able to take the tram, go to the private beach, etc. House was well stocked and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Another delightful stay . . .

This was our second stay at this very nice place. All was again perfect. Great location in a shady, secluded spot just off the main loop through the development. As before, the place was very clean and well equipped. Owner quick to respond. We used a sheltered bicycle storage area at the base of the building. We'll stay here again.

Perfect for a family vacation

Stayed with my family, including three kids ages 11-17. Everyone had their own space and the house was extremely well stocked with plenty of everything. Sea Colony is set up for families and there is a ton to do for everyone. The kids can ride the tram and get around themselves. Town of Bethany is perfect, we also visit Rehoboth, Fenwick and Ocean City while in the area. We have stayed at Sea Colony at least eight previous times, and we enjoyed this spot the most. Home was clean and comfortable and the host was very helpful and responsive.

Delightful week at this place. We’d certainly stay here again. The property was just as advertised. The host was quite quick - within a few minutes - to respond to a couple of questions we had. It’s up a flight of steps, but that wasn’t a problem. Clean. Quiet. Lots of trees and shade in the area. Sea Colony grounds crew maintains the grounds perfectly. Two porch areas - one screened, one open - are very nice. The kitchen is well supplied with cooking equipment. Located between the fitness center and the tennis facility - both an easy walk if you’re into that. There’s a resturant strip a short walk away. The beach, and the main restaurants and shopping area is a short drive away - less than five minutes. (You could walk to the Sea Colony stretch of the beach.) Here’s a tip - If this is your first time at Sea Colony: when you’re at the office to get your parking pass, ask how to get to the unit. It’s not obvious; the numbering scheme for street addresses, buildings and units is a bit obscure but you’ll be fine with just a bit of guidance.

Great July 4th week in Bethany

Our family really enjoyed this property. Our teens loved the loft. Property was clean and just as advertised. The wrap around screened porch is nicely shaded and private - perfect for coffee and quiet time in AM. The pool is a block away and the Tram stop is right behind the unit. Checked in on Sunday and had no wait at Sea Colony getting our activity badges. Remember to bring your linens and towels. Would stay at this unit again.

Very happy with the property

We had a wonderful week and would happily stay there again. I actually found the property nicer in person than it looked in the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked and the location was excellent. Most of all, the communication with the owner was excellent and she was responsive to our requests and comments. Thank you!

Had a Great Time at Sea Colony!

We really enjoyed this place! The place was clean. We loved the screened in porch. Easy access to the beach by way of tram. One of pools right down street. Sea Colony at beach was private also had a lot of extra activities for the kids. One night had entertainment at the condos at the beach. Close to Bethany Beach which has a boardwalk. Only 2 things I would mention if some has problem with stairs it is on second floor. The other thing is each person has to pay a $40 fee for the tram, pools and private beach. It was worth it but was not in description when rented this condo. I was told after we already rented it so I had to go back and tell everyone who was going they had to pay more money. All in all would definitely stay there again!

Our parents have hosted many summers for our family at Bethany Beach and are the original owners of our unit after many years of renting. Bethany holds a special place in our hearts with our families connection to Bethany College in WV and Pittsburgh, PA where many of the founders of Bethany Beach originated. Our roots are in WV and Bethany Beach became our families second home with memories of our parents, siblings and grandchildren spending sun filled days at the beach, early morning runs, evenings at the Bandstand enjoying the music and ending the day with a ice cream as we made our way home.

What makes this property unique

A very comfortable home with a lovely outdoor screened porch perfect for morning coffee and the paper or drinks at the end of a day at the beach. The loft is great space for children to enjoy a game overlooking the spacious living and dining room with a kitchen that provides all you need to prepare any meal. The shuttle to the beach is steps away and an outdoor pool is around the corner. The newly renovated fitness center is near along with the Tennis Center featuring indoor and outdoor tennis courts.
