Had a good time
Great Couples St Patrick's Day Week Getaway!
We had a wonderful time! The accommodations were great and very relaxing. Home owner was great and made some fabulous suggestions on where to go for all that awesome New Orleans Food! So nice staying in a quiet neighborhood, close enough to everything without the craziness of the French Quarter/downtown.
Perfect location and size
We were a family of six staying for 7days and this was the perfect house. There was enough room for all and also allowed for seperate alone time when needed. The owner Kallen was extremely accommodating! We will most definitely be returning!
Cute New Orleans house
Our stay worked out well over the New Year's holiday weekend. It was close enough to walk to/from the Quarter a couple of times (daylight, about 20 min walk), and a quick Uber/Taxi ride away from other places. The rooms were spacious and accommodating for our group of 6. It would be a great place to spend in warmer weather to enjoy the balconies during the daytime.
Everything We Expected
This was my first time using VRBO, and Kallen was great. He was quick to respond to every question we had, and the house was just as advertised. He provided us with everything that we needed (e.g. soap, shampoo, clean towels and bedding, laundry detergent and fabric softener, and all the kitchen supplies one would need). The property has some old house charm, but is well kept.
Everything was perfect. Big rooms, great artwork, perfect location!
The National World War two Museum is something to see. As well as City Park and the New Orleans Museum of Art located just up Esplanade Avenue. The Audubon zoo, Aquarium, and of course the French Quarter are all nearby and worth checking out.
