Dune B is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath pet-friendly apartment located on the ground floor of a three-unit cottage. Guests will love the location as you will be only 200 yards from the beach at 2nd Street and walking distance to restaurants, shopping, Memorial Park, playground, and the public library. This cottage apartment offers an open living area, dining area, and kitchen. The living area has a sleeper sofa for extra guests, ample lounge seating, and a large flat-screen TV. The dining area has seating for 4 and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, and refrigerator.

The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed and has direct access to the shared hallway bathroom. The bathroom is beautifully decorated, features a walk-in shower, and is accessible from both the queen bedroom and living room. The second bedroom is furnished with a King bed. Both bedrooms include flat-screen TVs.

Guests will also enjoy shared access to the ground level furnished screened porch. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi and central air/heat. The entrance to this apartment is located at the front of the house, the right door (unit B). Off-street parking is available for 2 cars. This property is pet-friendly for an additional fee.

Please note: This apartment does not include a dishwasher or washer/dryer. There is a coin-operated laundry located only a block away.

Family friendly location

Very easy check in and check out process. Clean and nice. The only complaint would be the air conditioner didn't work great and we could never get the tv in the living area and one of the bedrooms to work. Other than that; everything was great!

Tybee getaway

The property was in a great location and was accurately listed. The only disappointing thing was that there was no flexibility in checking in. We arrived early and waited in the driveway for about an hour. Apparently, there is no flexibility in early check in even though the property was ready (we were staying there in the off season) and we received the code a few minutes after the check in time. Other than that, everything was good.

Little bit loud from late night footsteps and chair sliding, upstairs. We liked the overall renovations but some things we are used to were missing; (toilet roll holder and towels racks/ hooks in the bathroom.) We could get the cable tv to work.

Quick Covid and Birthday Getaway

Overall we enjoyed our stay, except for one detail. Whomever stayed before us left behind a momento and the cleaning crew missed it... a lone pair of underwear next to the nightstand. Overall the property was as described, our stay was much needed and we did definitely enjoy ourselves. Thank you.

I found the house as described however they left one important detail out-the bedrooms are located under the living room and kitchen area of the upstairs property. If you had noisy neighbors as we did and are a light sleeper this property is not for you. You will be awake til they go to bed.

We enjoyed our stay at Dune B. The accommodations were just as pictured, and the location was perfect! We were just a short walk to the nearest beach access, and a short bike ride to the tennis courts. This location was also an easy bike ride to the north beach area or to south beach or the back river beach. Highly recommend Dune B!

Tybee getaway

The location of this property was perfect for our needs. The listing was accurate. I didn't expect a luxury property, but I think the owner would have better luck with return customers if the accommodations were improved a bit. The furniture is uncomfortable, bare bones on appliances, no keruig...that kind of thing. But again, the listing was accurate. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We have never been to Tybee before and it is a nice island town. After owning and renting a place in the Keys, our place at dune b had a little to be desired. It was clean, but if it sleeps 6, then there should be more than 2 dinner plates. Make sure you bring a blow dryer also as there isn't one in the unit; might want to bring a towel rack also as there is not one place to hang a towel in the bath. It's a basement so it's a little dark, but you can sit on the porch, maybe not...there's no fan out there. It's convenient to the beach on a positive note, and I did mention clean right?

Nice and clean place. Great for our short stay! No dishwasher or washer and dryer, so I would not recommend for long stay, but there is a laundry on the island! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools! And it is pet friendly our dog absolutely loved her 1st beach trip!! You do have to share the front porch with with neighbors in Dune A, although ours decided to have a hour crossfit class and we didn't get a chance to have our morning coffee on the porch, but that was ok, they inspired me to maybe take a class! ha! Oh the pull was torcher on our backs!! But the staff was very friendly that was nice. check in and check was a breeze!! I will rent again! Oh and a very short walk to the beach which was great!!

My family and I loved our stay at Dune B. It was like a 2 minute walk to the beach. The place was nice and roomy but I wished it had a second bathroom. The enclosed porch would had been nice if the screen door don't have it's screen halfway off letting all the mosquitoes in.

No ocean view like we were told it would. If anyone is in the other unit you will get no sleep! We loved the place itself but wouldn't stay again bc of neighbors in duplex, you hear everything!

We were very satisfied!! But...

We thought the description provided was very accurate. The size, location, amenities, updates were just as we saw in the pictures and the other reviews. Our family of 2 adults, two 10 year olds and our old english bull dog had no issues with the size of the unit at all. Thank you for great accommodations and service. We had no issues with towels, bedding, bugs, or neighbors. Our neighbors were great. Our one complaint was related to the beach. We brought our dog to a pet friendly property to be able to take her to the beach. However, no one told us the beach did not allow pets. We were fortunate to avoid the ticket, but that could have impacted the trip negatively. My advice to the rental company. Inform your renters not pets at the beach to assist with planning.

Potential to be a great property

Close to the ocean and the property was really cute. However who ever was in charge of cleaning the property def did not do a good job soap left in shower, candy wrappers in floor in bedroom beside bed and shards of glass I had to pick up on the porch. Also the tvs did not work the entire stay the living room didn't work. Next day it was fixed which my guess is the fix was to switch out equipment in the bedroom because then the bedroom didn't work. If I am renting something I expect everything to work and it be clean. Dishes were also dirty.
