Make yourself at home in this 2-bedroom Tybee Island retreat. This fantastic house features a king bed in the main bedroom and a bunk bed (twin over full) in the 2nd bedroom, perfect for a family. Enjoy the bright and open atmosphere of the living room with an additional queen bed pull-out if you need the sleeping space. The property is an easy walk to the beach and steps from local surf shops and restaurants. We notice that although we are right in the middle of all the fun, it's quiet and feels like a peaceful home away from home.
Our guests comment on the easy access to everything Tybee has to offer and the comfortable sleeping, bathroom, and kitchen accommodations.

Lovely rental. Nicely decorated, very clean, and well equipped. Easy walk to beach access and local restaurants. The master bed was very comfortable! Really appreciated that it was pet friendly. My small senior dog was right at home. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Parking beneath the house was great and kept my black car cooler than anywhere else. Check-in was good until he was busy.The place was spacious and clean. There was plenty of room and good lighting (for reading). Since it rained a lot, I spent more time inside than my normal, but it is peacefully decorated and a great place to read a book, do a puzzle (which was provided, nice touch) or make a meal in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend even though it was farther from the beach than I expected.

Obviously there was a mistake with this review. The comments indicated a 5 star review but for some reason there is 1 star. I think this review needs to be modified and corrected. I will look into this.

We are local and love welcoming guests to our Beach Cottage. Our kids love the beach and we love hearing stories of great family memories made while hanging out and enjoying the beach!

Why they chose this property

We love being able to take a left out of the house and walk a shady path down to the beach walk-over. Hanging out in the living room and deciding we want tacos means within 3 minutes walking distance we are at one of our favorite restaurants on the island. We suggest packing light (we've supplied beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella) and letting Tybee and it's laid back vibes give you a chance to totally chill. It's the south, so unless it's during our one week of winter each year, it's probably hot outside. We planned for that and the AC is set for that nice crisp burr that you need to wear your sweatpants as PJs after you've been at the beach all day.

What makes this property unique

Location, great beds, access to coffee, ice cream, tacos, beach and surf shops, great covered parking, smart TVs and high speed WIFI, and cold, low humidity HVAC/Heating.
We live local and when we don't have guests I work (remote) from the property because the quiet atmosphere, reliable internet, and climate control is better than my everyday house in Savannah AND bonus I get coffee from TyBEAN or SandCat both just steps away. If you need a vacation or just a change of scenery for behind your remote work screens, our house is ready to accommodate.
