About Natalia & Silvia

After having lived all over the world across four different continents, my husband and I decided to return to Miami, a city we have always loved. We came here to rent out luxury apartments with the "boutique" flavor that defines us. Personally, I am an avid traveler and enjoy decorating, cooking ethnic food and meeting like-minded people. I have used Airbnb abroad and I want to offer my guests a real “home away from home” experience.

Silvia, whilst being a new member of our team, is critical to our success. She oversees bookings and leads the customer service side of the business. Together with the on-site manager she routinely delivers the best experience for our clients.

We started off as property owners and from the beginning we have helped investors manage their apartments, always in authorized buildings and in accordance to county and state laws. I hold a Master in Tourism Administration and an Interior Designing degree. My husband is a Ph. D, an MBA, and a Florida Licensed Real Estate Broker, and together we speak six languages, which allow us to interact with our clients like no other company. Our sophisticated proprietary technical platform enables us to serve you better.

It’ll be an honor to have you stay with us at Miami Apartment Rentals!

Why Natalia & Silvia chose Downtown Miami

Miami’s weather is pleasant all year round, which allows people like us to enjoy the city’s incredible range of activities. From outdoor sports, to a vibrant art and design community, to performing arts and events of all kinds, Miami has never been more busy and sophisticated. We also appreciate the different cultures which, among other things, are to credit for its rich gastronomical selection.

We thought that to enjoy all that, the Icon Brickell was the best place in Miami. Our guests love the amenities!

What makes this condo unique

The studio is very well equipped and furnished by Natalia, an interior designer. We love what we do and it shows in every aspect: cleanliness, decoration, full service, extras (wine waiting for you upon arrival). The property is very well equipped, uncommonly so.

You will be able to access the spa and swimming pool and receive towels at no extra charge. You may also visit the large gym and enjoy the selection of Technogym machines. Just google 'Icon Brickell' and you will get tons of pics of this amazing building designed by Philippe Stark.

Everything was and comfortable with the exceptions of last days, after Irma. AC system was not working and it was tough to stay in the apartment.

Owner's Response: Hi Filomena, First of all, thank you for your review. It was great to meet you, although circumstances haven´t been the best with hurricane Irma heating Miami!!! Irma was a challenge for us. Having 30 apartments listed, we were waiting that authorities would approve our guests to stay in their condos, since there is not a risk of flooding. That´s why, we spent two days trying to get water and flashlights when in Miami it was almost impossible to find any of them. Finally, we got them and we visited personally each apartment to provide for free to all our guests with them. We understood at that moment that many of our guests were from abroad, as yourself, and that many of them had not a car. After visiting all the units and leaving in each one water, flashlight and batteries, on Thursay we were told that evacuation was mandatory. Again a new challenge!! We decided to took some guests, as yourself, to Coconut Grove. My husband took the guest in his own car to the new place, as we were going to do with you. Again, we were shocked when that building said that evacuation there was again mandatory!!! with thousands of people looking for hotels and safe places to stay it was very stressfull. Finally, everybody was relocated (with families, in hotels, as yourself, others headed to Orlando...) Even though, we tried to keep in touch with all our guests. On Moday night, we were told that the building was reopening on Tuesday.... great news!!! that last a few hours, when we found out that the a/c pumps had been damaged by the hurricane. We were told that they would be fixed in a few hours but after the technitians did the inspections, we were told that damages were important and that it could take up to 3 days... what it took! This same afternoon, around 7 pm, we were informed that after working day and night the a/c was retored to the building. We cancelled a dinner and we went personally, to check every single unit and to restart the a/c compresors. Hopefully, all our units are OK, no damages from the hurricane, since they are very safe, and now with the a/c working we feel soooo happy! It has been a tough week, very frustrating for us, with no alternative for the few guests that still were staying like you.... As mentioned , I hope next time you come back to Miami we have time to share a coofee (or a wine!!) and we will remember this period as nightmare.... but still a good time because we were able to meet a wonderful guest: YOU! You will be alway welcome!

Reasons to visit Miami? Enjoying the open spaces, gastronomy, arts, outdoor sports, boating and water sports, galleries, exhibitions, shopping...etc. Others come for real estate investing, to visit the large network of hospitals, the many local universities, to do businesses with the growing number of corporations, banks and investment firms...etc. Below, some spare time ideas you can expand in Bing or Google:

Walking distance:

For SUPERMARKET: Whole Foods is nearby. No need to drive. Cross the bridge and two more blocks to go.

For RESTAURANTS, see our Guest Book, which you will receive in digital after booking (on paper upon arrival). In any case, walk to Mary Brickell Village for dinner, have a drink, see people.

For fancy indoor SHOPPING: walk to the new Brickell City Centre for prime retail and fine dining (for complete list, visit website).

For OUTDOOR shopping, eating and tourist shops, the Bayside Marketplace, by the water.

For PERFORMING ARTS: check the Arsht Center upcoming events. For other events, the American Airlines Arena.

For RUNNING OR WALKING: see our Guest Book. In any case, if you come to Brickell, walk or run around Brickell Key. No cars or bicycles allowed. Just a gorgeous and healthy walk or run.

For MUSEUMS: the new PAMM, Modern Art, and its environment is worthwhile. Very soon the Frost Museum of Science will open doors (1S 2017). Unmissable. Both at walking distance. Or take the free Metromover.

Not walking distance:

For ART, go to Wynwood. Take pictures of the over 200 urban graffiti (perhaps take an Art Walk Tour before). Continue to the Design District for high-end shopping and galleries.

For BEACHES: South Beach (more urban) or Crandon Park in Key Biscayne (more isolated). That key is a tranquil one and so close to town. The drive is gorgeous. Go to the end of the island, to No Name Harbor to see the yachts.

For ART DECO, go to Ocean Drive, at Miami Beach. You will have seen it in so many movies! Once there, go to Lincoln Road, a pedestrian street with tourist shops and non-expensive restaurants.

For a LONG DRIVE, go to Key West. We recommend that you spend one night there to avoid a very long drive. Avoid Fridays in your way down or Sundays to come back.

To finalize, a paragraph from Wikipedia:

“Downtown Miami is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and many large national and international companies. The Civic Center is a major center for hospitals, research institutes, medical centers, and biotechnology industries. For more than two decades, the Port of Miami, known as the "Cruise Capital of the World", has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world. It accommodates some of the world's largest cruise ships and operations, and is the busiest port in both passenger traffic and cruise lines.”
